Ceon grabbed Eden up off the ground and placed her on his back as if she were riding a horse. As soon as he made sure Meredith's legs were wrapped tight around his waist, he took off as fast as he could, just hoping that Daiguren wouldn't follow. (exit: Ceon's apartment)

Edith unholstered one of her guns just in case the speed demon decided to follow them. As fast as he was he wasn't capable of dodging a barrage of her bullets without running into at least one of them. She had a quick trigger finger and an accurate one at that. Archery had been one of her favourite pastimes along with the shooting range back home in the town she'd grown up in. Things had been really different back then and she'd never seen herself where she was right now. It kind of made her wonder what would have happened had she stayed in band and made it musically instead of physically.

Felicia strolled quietly away from a coffee shop shutting down for the night. With a sigh, she chose a lamp post, beneath which she flicked out a zippo to light a wine flavored Black and Mild. She then shut the lighter and inhaled deeply, gazing blankly at the sky. It's amazing... After all this time, I still can't get used to the twilight of this place. Felicia, rarely a smoker, allowed the tufts of smoke to billow softly from her lips to prevent choking. Things had become increasingly dull since the police force stepped up its regime, and she finally found it suit to leave the suffocating coven for some time.

A pair of wings shown down in front of the demon, "Run while you can, Ceon." D's wings acted as a shield to the bullets then slowly disappeared back into his human body. He turn the other way and walked out the the alleys.
Daiguren walked the streets without fear of the the FBI or hunters. He didn't care for this city anymore, the more he stayed here the more he slowly started to hate the human race.

Felicia, with a bit of mild irritation, took upright to her feet and began once again to stroll farther from her originating point of the evening. As she indulged in the burning toxic stick in her fingers a few more times, all Felicia noticed was that nothing, absolutely nothing, was of interest here... In the city, of all places! Aside from a few characters being far too obvious about themselves, of course. Her shadow grew and shrunk repetitively beneath street lamps as she made her way to Central Park, unsure of what exactly she sought.

Adolfina yawned and stretched hard. It was tedious work setting up her apartment alone. The night air wisped her hair around gaily, and she sighed as it dried the small sweat beads on her brow. It was a pleasent night to move in, but she wasn't quite ready to settle down just yet. Such a journey couldn't exhaust her easily. Adolfina was determined to learn all she could about this place, and as a newcomer, what its restrictions were. When someone would pass her, she wouldn't even say hello for fear that they might mock her accent. But that was the least of her worries, so she continued to pass under the lights hoping to find something out of the ordinary while sight-seeing.

Will Lee wandered down the bustling streets of the city, listening to the desires and will of each heart as he passed them by. It was a nasty thing to hear about all of the horrors and suffering of the people but there were occastional warped individuals that did deserve the suffering they were in. Adjusting his glasses he finally ducked down an ally way to get away from the worst of it. "I'm surprised you can actually walk around people like that at all." Scott Fines muttered to him, keeping close to the other boy. "Why are we here anyway? Why couldn't we have stayed in the home?" "I told you." Will muttered. "The girls wanted to have sex so we leave them alone out of curtousy to them. Rodger can stay on the floor passed out, it suits him." "Don't see why we couldn't have stayed behind and watched them." Scott muttered again even though he knew the reason why. He liked to be around people even less than Will did, but for a very different reason. But he came because he didn't want his friend and brother flying off the handle like he was capable of doing.

Adolfina noticed two men across the street from her and glanced at them curiously. They seemed...ancy? When she focused in a bit closer, she could hear bits and pieces of what each was thinking. Her nose wrinkled in some disgust and she immediately averted her mind from the two. She reached in her pocket and carefully removed the phone the clan had so graciously provided her. No calls, as usual. Adolfina sighed and put it away once again, continuing further down the sidewalk. Up ahead she saw a gated area with headstones. The cemetary....

The two boys wandered around in pleasant enough fashion, right before Scott nearly ran into Will. "What? What's going on?" he asked, brushing his shirt off and keeping his balance. Then he looked at his friend and saw the reflection. Something was wrong. Then he felt it too. Powerful emotion. Anger. The master was angry. "What's causing it?" he asked. Will would know. Scott could tell he was looking. It took a few minutes before Will pushed his glasses up and shivered as he felt the anger. "It's gone. The masters playground. Someone destroyed it. All the tormented souls were either claimed by this other or freed. There is nother left for him." Scott shivered. "Are we to suffer as a result?" "I don't believe so... But he doesn't want to make an immediate move against this man." Will muttered, blinking in actual surprise. "I don't understand it. Let us wait for the moment... I'm sure something good could come of this."

Adolfina ventured into the city, pressing forward in some blind stupor just short of rage. Who does he think he is anyway? I'm highly respected where I come from! What did I do to him? I put up with ridiculous shinnanagins all night long..
She crossed the street without even realizing it, heading for two men she didn't know or see. But I wonder what all that rubbish was about.. Who is Jaden? Why was that old demon-
Adolfina stopped her though short, slamming painfully into the man with glasses. Her mind jarred as she struck the pavement.

(( Uber bored. I be NPCing. They'll be different colours than Meredith. ))
Brisk and of apathy, this was what the seemingly young woman could draw from this city as she roamed it. She was not here of her own will and yet at the same time she was. This was a city she did not find to have the friendly atmosphere that some smaller, quaint villages seemed to possess. It was cold, ignorant, concerned with only it's own problems and issues.
The woman, as she walked, did so methodically and without haste. She was in no rush to investigate what she'd been sent here for. It was to be made out as a small consequence but she was prepared for a lot more from this city. When a city soaked within it's own ignorance, bad things were bound to happen and likewise be expected upon arrival. She demonstrated with her stride, though, that she was certainly not of mortal stature for the serenity with which she passed illustrated so. The woman withheld her aura from those who might pose suspicion but from those who would merely be curious, they would need not approach to ask.
Devoted to a more secretive sector of the Vatican, Alteria didn't wish to scream for attention, however, she could not bring herself to wear the commonday attire of the general populace. Instead she wore her beautiful and rare auburn hair tied back into an exquisite French twist while she wore an ebony dress from the eighteen hundreds that would likely be a prized church outfit of a woman from the middle class. Her head adorned with a dark hat accompanied by some gray feathers to further accessorize it kept the auburn sea of hair tame and at bay. Unbeknownst to most, engulfing her throat beneath the lace and bow that was tied to perfection as well as the dress itself were not only a series of brutal scars but a chain that held onto a precious cross. Her hands, which also bore left over wounds she wished not to display to the public were covered with simple gloves of which matched the colour of the bow perfectly strewn across her neck.
Next to the enigma of a young woman walked a young man that could rival her mystery. He was of a pristine yet animalistic stature that set him aside from others. The young man certainly appeared to be in the prime of his youth and yet the way he followed quietly alongside the woman and kept his gaze straight ahead as if he were her companion and nothing more protested he was of more maturity than many whatever his age happened to be.
The young man did not walk with the calmness of that of the woman, he was very tense and it was becoming apparent that he was forcing himself to slow his stride to match hers. His beautiful crisp blue eyes were hidden beneath his mess of unattended bangs in contrast to the clean cut, well groomed woman beside him. However, his face was free of stubble and his wind-blown hair happened to be the only portion of him that had not been tended to though it was more than enough to make him a stark contrast to the woman beside him for not one thing was out of place or "messy" upon her. He was not dressed elegantly but casually, in a gray pair of typical jeans with a black belt that bore a silver belt buckle with a celtic cross engraved into it. His shirt was a simple dark purple sweater with sleeves that covered only his upper arms beneath a gray buttoned up vest. From his neck dangled another beautfiul work of Celtic art while his arms had also become a tattoists canvas. He possessed a nose, eyebrow and various ear piercings but he decided on no facial jewelery so as not to offend the woman with which he was walking. His hands, however, were adorned in stainless steel rings, most of which were all engraved with Celtic designs as well.
Suddenly the man tensed and he looked over toward the disturbance of a woman accidentally crashing into a man with glasses. He refrained from snorting and gently uttered to the woman with his slightly raspy, deep voice, "Are they children of the angel, Al?" His voice sounded concerned.
The woman, however, did not look quite as concerned as the man, more composed and wiser. She knew something which the young man did not and as opposed to reacting with discomfort, she did not visibly react. Alteria would have to choose her accent carefully along with her response before proceeding to answer. She paused for a moment and chose to speak with a Bulgarian accent as she replied. "Perhaps, we mustn't assume, though but we should be prepared."
The man drew closer as the woman proceeded at the same pace as before and eventually they drew up to the two strange men as well as the poor woman who had fallen over. While he wasn't the warmest of souls, Sasha extended a hand to the fallen woman as Alteria stared blankly ahead through eyes whose irises had been milked over by cataracts.

((Very nice wall o' text...))
Adolfina had noticed the two approaching and how out of place they looked, but she chose not to acknowledge their existence until she was offered a hand up. Her keen ears had caught their mutterings, and she was in the line of possible trouble once more tonight. Her shining eyes expressed distrust as she gazed upon the man whose hand she grasped delicately. After standing, she apologetically muttered her embarassment to the two men and dusted herself off. Trying to keep her thick Turkish accent to a minimum, she smiled timidly at the rugged man who'd aided her. "Thank you greatly.. I hate that I was so careless."
The woman next to him was beautiful.. A fine specimen that was obviously not of this country, just like herself. Yet Adolfina was alone, yet again; this woman had company, whether he fit or not.
Adolfina suddenly felt an overwhelming desire to split her clothes and be free from her evenly toned skin, to run across a great expanse and away from these ensuing situations. "I'll be going now." She calmly turned to retreat to her place of residence.

(( Yeah ... boredom posts tend to be long. Aw ... she's leaving already. Oh well. XD ))
Sasha's grip was gentle as he didn't wish to crush the woman's dainty hand, however, he wasn't overly gentle since he'd been yelled at in the past for seeming sexist by grabbing women's hands too lightly. Just the thought made him want to groan since he actually respected most as equals, regardless of gender, race, that kind of thing. Of course, he wasn't perfect and there were those he didn't play well with like anyone else but that happened to be irrelevent here.
"No matter, it teaches most of us humility and keeps most of us in line. Reminds you to watch yourself, too."
The two then diverted from the two men that'd been standing there and instead continued on toward another place of interest. Word had it that something had occurred beneath the ground and there were remances of auras passed through. This interested the woman and the man followed, a loyal escort.
Though the woman was blind she seemed to know exactly where everything was, whether it was due to instinct or memory, no one really knew except for the man beside her. The man's eyes fell on an underground entranceway and the woman, in turn, smiled. "It grows stronger here and the intermingling of beings begins. Caution is well advised as we proceed."
The man nodded silently as they descended the broken up stair well to the underground below ... He didn't like this ... they were drawing closer to Lucifer's realm ...
