Daiguren looked over at Veroen as his sword swung down toward him. The heavy blade meet a sudden halt. Daiguren's hand was stretched out just above his shoulder with the large blade stopped in between his fingers. The ground under Daiguren's feet was chartered as the force from the blade traveled through his body. Daiguren's hand still looked like that of a humans, not even a demons hand.
"Did either of you have the luck to encounter the elders demons who ruled here for such a long time?" Daiguren backed up about a 50 feet in less then a second then spoke again, "My current power exceeds them both." He never let Ceon even slip and inch off of his shoulder.

Veroen grinned with an evil expression, and with one quick motion he let go of the sword with his left hand, and pulled out one of his handguns, except the handgun he pulled out was a holy handgun, and had bullets filled with holy water, and these bullets were blessed by a priest of the Catholic church.
The moment it was pointed at Daiguren's chest, Veroen pulled the trigger 3 times, in the short time of 1 second, sending three of these blessed bullets with holy water in them, splitting the air and hurling towards Daiguren.
"I don't give a DAMN how powerful you think you are. I will kill you for threatening Eden, and her well being. You made your last mistake, demon."

(( Maybe it's just me but catching a sword inbetween your fingers?? Seems like power playing to me, I'd watch out for that if I was you, Dai. Especially since a sword would easily sever through a hand if only fingers caught it. ))

((yeah, i thought the same thing, but i'll let it slide this time. If it keeps happening though, I'll have to notify Soulvar about it. So keep things like that to less than a minimum. Be fair mate. Rp's are no fun if you keep pulling s**t like that.))

Ceon's eyes cracked open as he let out a dog-like yawn and stretched his legs. To his surprise, only a dull sting remained in his legs. Ceon slowly lifted himself up as he scratched away some dry blood from his forehead. His vision was a little hazy, but he could still make out the figure of Eden, which made him smile.

Edith didn't notice that Ceon was awake at first but then she noticed him stirring within Daiguren's grip and her arms began flailing around and her lips began moving, at first forming incoherent sentences of jibberish. However, she soon shaped up and began shouting at the top of her lungs. "HIT HIM CEON! HIT HIM! HE'S TRYING TO KIDNAP YOU!" The lycan was still within Daiguren's grasp and she didn't want the demon making off with Ceon before Ceon had a chance to realize what was happening. She didn't want him assuming that she'd just handed him over to Daiguren because that wasn't the case and they seemed to have a lot of misunderstandings so she didn't want that to happen. That and she wanted him to explain himself what Daiguren had meant by owning Ceon's soul and if it was true. She wanted to hear it from the cat's mouth so to say or in this case the wolf's.

Ceon heard nothing at first, but then a dull buzz. He soon realized that someone was carrying him, but he didn't need to see who it was to know it was Daiguren. Daiguren was the only one that dared pick him up, seeing as he had killed Ceon before. "Daiguren....put me down....you did nothing to help me...."

Meredith sighed with relief when Ceon came to and seemed to start registering her voice though he asked the demon politely to put him down, something she wasn't so certain would happen since Daiguren was a d**k as far as she was concerned. "That's what you get you dumb demon, for picking on a pregnant lady that's trying to help out an unconscious friend. What the hell's your problem anyhow?" She then looked to Ceon and wondered if he'd healed and whether or not he could walk on his own. "Ceon are you alright to walk or do I need to resplint you? I tried my best but I'm no doctor so I have no idea if I splinted you right or not."

Meredith's voice finally clicked in Ceon's mind. Ceon's claws grew on his feet and hands and he gripped onto Daiguren's sides. Pushing back slightly, Ceon launched himself off of Daiguren and next to Eden. Ceon skidded to a stop, nearly bolting into a brick wall.

Meredith was full-heartedly relieved to see that Ceon was alright and her heart had been pounding the entire time that Ceon had been in Daiguren's grasp. Naturally she was a lot more grateful than she was ever willing to admit to Ceon and since Veroen seemed suspicious that she'd been unfaithful to him she was even more inclined not to be overly friendly to Ceon. In that moment, though, she wanted to hug him out of the relief she had to see that Daiguren hadn't harmed him but instead she took her typical stance and nudged him, "Whoa there cowboy. Don't want to hurl yourself into a wall there and break your legs again, better be more careful since you just got back on those."

Ceon smiled as he stood up and stretched. "Don't worry about me. But we need to get out of here. Daiguren won't stop until he has me." Ceon looked her stomach with a wierd expression, then back to her eyes. "Get on my back," he said as fur covered his body and he turned into his lycan form.

Morning sickness hadn't exactly been Meredith's friend between months three and four but now that she was nearing month five she was getting used to it and it was becoming less and less frequent. Now, however, her stomach was actually starting to show a fair bit and it was hindering her from performing her normal running activities and work outs she did to keep herself in prime form as a huntress. She took pride in being fit and now she was plump as a hippo and the physique did not sit particularly well with her. However, more troubling was how much it limited her mobility and how slow it'd made her and the weight was beginning to irritate her back now as well. "No problem, he's a demon, not exactly the friendly type so I really don't mind not sticking around. Veroen pulled a nice disappearing act on us too so I hope he can find us and meet up with us but Dai's stinky and I wanna get out of here."
