"Thank you...I'll just be here for today." Wolf walked in the apartment, looking around. "So...I'll sleep here for tonight. Thanks again...Wait, where am I sleeping?" He laughed a little. Wolf continued to smile, as little as it was.

Zero leaps onto the couch, landing flat on his back.
"You can have my bed tonight" he says. He places his staff on the ground beside him. "Name's Zero by the way"

Wolf nodded. "Thanks again, and you can call me Wolf. I'll be out of here tomorrow, as I'm having my birthday party then..." He paused. "Said a little too much there...Heh, g'night!" Wolf's smile turned to a different one, which was more of an 'Oops...' smile, as he walked into the bedroom. Wolf plopped down on the bed, and the young lycan realized how tired he really was. He fell asleep just as he got comfortable.

Zero was asleep before the word 'birthday'. He had curled up into a ball on the couch and was now sleeping quite soundly; his breathing was light and slow, and he did not, or would not stirr until morning.

Wolf woke with a start. Todays the big party thing...I'll just walk over to Mephlius and Amnity's and wait 'till it starts. Maybe it already did. I'll go and see! He started for the door, then looked at Zero. Hm... He quickly and hastily wrote down on a piece of paper, and left the note on a table as he left to the Residential District. The note read : 'Hey. I guess I woke before you, had to go fast. Hope you don't mind. Many thanks, Wolf.'

Zero yawned and stirred, and fell loudly onto the wood floor as a result. He jerkes awake, quickly standing up and looking around his apartment.
Where did the...
He spots the note wolf left him, smiling as he reads it silently.
I see. he thinks. He's a cool kid. Hope I see him again... Oh well. Better get back to doing nothing...
He picks up his bladed staff and puts it in a special sling on his back. His throwing daggars as well as a coil of wire come next, clipping onto the left side of his belt. Lastly, his GA-9 long barreled pistol clipped underneath his right arm.
Next came his clothes. Zero tended to favor a more 'Gothic' appearance, putting on light blue jeans and a tight black shirt under his gear. To cover his pulsing green scars, he pulled on a long black coat.
The last thing he put on was an armored glove, a unique weapon of his called a power fist. By releasing shockwaves via electrical impulse, it amplified the power and force of a blow dealt by the user. He slipped it onto his right hand, keeping it inactive until he needed to use it.
Zero stepped outside into the night air. His foggey green eyes glanced up at the smog choked sky.
I smell blood tonight... he thought grimly.

Meredith grumbled to herself as she dragged the massive lycan along with her on her back. He weighed a ton and though she did as well, holy s**t was he heavier than he looked! She couldn't believe she, the hunter leader temporary stand-in, had been talked into babysitting these canines by none other than the Alpha canine himself. It was absolutely ridiculous! She was supposed to be out here shooting these things, not pissing around babysitting lycans that didn't know how to win fights properly or how to not break through their floors and give themselves massive concussions. She couldn't believe that after all the b*****d had done to her that she was here right here right now dragging Ceon along so that stupid Jaden could go off and do God knew what with his little lover wolf girlfriend. The more she thought about it the more she seethed and chided herself. Why had she even saved Ceon in the first place? If Jaden hadn't been willing to listen to her it would have been her and her child paying with their lives ... At least that stupid female wolf had done something right ... something that'd saved both her and her child.
"When you f**king wake up you have no idea how much you're gonna hear it from me and how much you owe me for saving your life. You better not make me think it was worthless to save you or that it was a waste of my time because I swear I'll be the one to take you down if you prove me wrong, wolf ..." Of course she realized she was talking to an unresponsive body that couldn't hear her at all but she didn't care, not one bit. The whole city could hear her shouting at Ceon or talking to him as she was at the moment for all she cared. If she really wanted to she could just dump him off and abandon him and leave him to die but even she knew that she wasn't cruel-hearted enough to leave the lycan behind to die even after all that he'd put her through. Was a sorry enough to fix this? Simple words with no results from Ceon at all? Could he learn to control himself or was he just going to keep blowing up the rest of his life? She wanted to have faith but then she just kept telling herself, 'Old dogs never learn new tricks and wolves haven't learned them in the first place ...'
Needless to say Eden was pretty pissed off and had definitely gotten the shitty end of the bargain, hell, there hadn't even been a bargain, she'd gotten the shitty end of the stick that cost her her dignity and a lot of other things in the first place. No, she'd been friggin' Jack in the Beanstalk though she was a chick and she'd invested, under the influence no less, in a dud seed. And here it was, coming back to haunt her and mock her, completely unchanged and without results. She would have been better off to throw this damned seed away, not to mention it was heavy as f**k and was practically breaking her back. "If you hear anything I say, baby, hear this. Mommy made a big mistake in drunking alcohol with your daddy when he was depressed. Don't you ever make that mistake. You should probably give up on people easier than mommy does too, that way you won't be broke when you bet on the wrong horse or buy the f**king wrong seed and it doesn't give you results."

[[damn i'm very drunk right now, so pardon my bad english, or grammar or whatever. Also, i knocked my mirror off of my car by hitting the mailbox of this kid that i hate. so i'm a little pissed off right now, but i'm laughing about it atr the same time. lol]]
Veroen was making his away over rooftops quickly, heading nowhere in particular. He wanted to find Ceon and kill the mutt for what he had found out. He was infuriated. His eye still a black pit of anger and sorrow, scanned the area for any sign of him.
The Vampire stopped, and he sniffed the air, and smelled Ceon, and Edith. He clenched his teeth, as well as his fists, and looked over the side of the building, only to see Edith, the girl he loved, carrying Ceon, the mutt he wished to kill and torture for the information that he had been told.
He jumped off the side of the building, landing gracefully in front of Edith and the unconscious Ceon. His shorter white hair blew in the wind, and his calm expression was countered by his blackened eye, which revealed his true emotions at that moment. He looked at Edith, but said nothing. His attention was aimed toward the unconscious mutt that was being carried on her shoulders. He silently stared at the scene, now in more disbelief than before when Siberius told him that Edith had stayed at Ceon's apartment over night. He rose his right hand, and grasped his new sword which was strapped on his back. This sword was large enough to take down a horse along with its rider, and was extremely heavy. Veroen, however, had been training with it for quite some time now, and was extremely skilled, and swift with it.
His hand rested on the hilt, and his eye narrowed, as he focused on the mutt that rested on her shoulders. Normally, he would have waited for him to regain conscious before attacking him, but in anger and fury, he was ready to kill the mutt regardless of his status. He stared at Ceon, and crouched a bit, ready to draw his sword, and kill the mutt for what he thought to be betrayal.

Daiguren looked out over the city from a tall office building, his eyes shimmered from the lights below. He noticed someone moving along roof tops and focused in on them. They soul was oddly fiery for such a calm night but wanted to inspect the situation farther.
Jumping down from the build on to other roof he followed making sure to stay down wind from being. Daiguren was sure they had meet before but he couldn't remember his name. Using his speed to his advantage he adjust to Veroen's searching almost instantly.
After stopping he accelerated next to Veroen, but just out of striking distance, "Ah, I see it the wolf that you were looking for. You I've killed him once...he just wouldn't stay died."

(( Pretty coherent for drunk as always. XD )) Meredith was about to shoulder around whoever it was that'd stopped in her way until she looked up and realized that it was Veroen. For a brief moment her hazel eyes smouldered with excitement, gratefulness, happiness until she met the cold gaze in his eyes that even managed to kill the glimmer in her eyes. She'd been advancing toward him but she'd paused now and simply stood before him, silent for a moment as if waiting for an explanation and then she remembered the huge lug that was on her back and sighed. "Do you honestly think that I did anything at all with him after what he's tried to do to me, to you, to my child? Don't you have any faith in me? You're the one who always goes away and disappears without telling me and I have to count on the fact that you're being faithful to me, that you'll return alive or that you'll even bother to return at all and you don't even give me a chance?"
She seemed almost angry for a moment and in that moment she could almost feel herself punching Veroen but she didn't. She loved him too much to harm him even if he cast his cold, accusing gaze upon Ceon though she knew it was aimed equally as much at her. "Are you going to calm down so I can tell you what happened or am I going to have to save this dumb a**' life a second time within the week? I think you should give me a chance to explain so I don't have to get wasted by the vampire I love with all my heart and the one I thought loved me with all his." Her eyes were pleading now, absolutely disbelieving that he'd be so quick to pass judgement upon her. And yet they were filled with resolve when they spoke of having to save Ceon again. Even if everyone else thought he was a lost cause she didn't. He needed to find it in himself to help himself but first he'd need someone to believe in him and she was that person. She wished she could say she was doing it for her child but she was doing it because she could see herself in Ceon.
"Either way you're not killing him. He's unconscious and can't even defend himself. Not to mention his legs are shattered from his last decisive battle with Mr. bipolar wolf. I know it might look bad but still. You didn't even give me a chance and from the looks of it someone else told you something that made you doubt me. So ... are you going to hear the story or are we going to have to tango in the less pleasureable fashion?" Her stomach was beginning to show, four months, she was four months along already. Where had the time gone? How had it gone by so fast? And yet it was clear she was prepared to stand and fight, the resolve in her eyes said it all. There was not love or lust in her eyes when she spoke of Ceon, only certainty and adamance.
However, when she spoke next her eyes changed. There was the faintest of glimmers within it as she spoke, love. "When I say I love you, Veroen, I mean it. Who told you they loved you and didn't mean it? Who hurt you enough that you can't trust me to be faithful?" By now she had set Ceon down though he was right beside her and Veroen since she did register Daiguren's approach and didn't like him being so near. However, despite the fact that Daiguren was too close and that Veroen's eyes showed nothing but coldness and hatred, despite the fact he had his sword drawn and prepared for blood, she approached him. There was no fear as she closed the distance between him and she managed to slip her arms underneath his own in order to wrap hers around his torso and she pulled him close, head leaning into his chest with a few of her unshed tears dampening his attire. "I've missed you so much," she whispered softly to him. "If you believe anything I say at least believe that."

Daiguren moved twitched, or so it seemed and the lycan was on his shoulder, "Well that was easier then I thought. Don't worry you won't be needing to save his life again. It is mine anyway." In that instant twitch he had grabbed the lycan from next to Meredith. He turned on his heel and started walking off with Ceon on his shoulder.
"I got what I wanted, you kids have fun working your problems out." He hoped over to the next roof and continued his walk lazily away from the couple.

Meredith's mouth literally hung open when she realized that Daiguren had enough f**king nerve to grab Ceon right out from under her clutches. She was supposed to look after him and keep him safe and she'd just let that a** hole pick him up and walk away with him. Oh no, as much reason as she had to hate Ceon, he wasn't going to die unless she decided she was going to kill him and Daiguren certainly wasn't going to do whatever it was he was planning to do with Ceon. However, before she ran off in pursuit of Daiguren she gave Veroen a parting glance that said much more than words ever could and she quickly kissed him before raising her axe and running off after Daiguren. "Sorry Veroen but I have to do this." She placed her hand on his shoulder to let him know that she was still with him and as she turned to bolt after Daiguren, she gently caressed his arm before heading off. It was her unspoken way of letting him know she loved him.
She turned away from Veroen and began charging after Daiguren though she could certainly not hop over roof tops and she certainly could not even jump atop them. However, she began the hopeless pursuit and intended to get Ceon back, as impossible as it was. After all, she was a human, a pregnant human at that running after a speed demon with only one thing slowing him down, Ceon, the reason she was chasing him in the first place. "HEY! YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE HIM LIKE THAT! HE'S UNCONSCIOUS YOU A** HOLE! COME BACK HERE OR ARE YOU AFRAID OF A PREGNANT HUMAN?" This was probably the only way she was going to coax Daiguren into coming back, she certainly couldn't catch up with him if he didn't want her to.
Though the weight from her child was starting to affect how effectively she could transport herself she moved extremely quickly for someone four months into their pregnancy. She was very fit and the muscles in her legs were strong enough to support her but this wouldn't last forever since she wasn't used to supporting this much weight and running with it. Despite that, though, she blazed through the alley and quickly made her way to the speed demon walking lazily, figuring she wouldn't even bother to help Ceon. He was wrong so it would either come down to a fight, which was bleak for her or it would come down to a chase, which was even bleaker than the fight option. Either way she was probably screwed but fighting gave her better odds. "CEON WAKE UP YOU IDIOT!"

Daiguren turned around and started walking backward," What do you mean i can't take him....just because he's not awake doesn't mean a thing. As i said his soul is my property, but I need to fill my end of the deal." he dropped down an alleyway and continued walking backward in the alley in front of her.
His silver eyes shined right through the dime lights and steam from the sewers. He was staring at her unwavering. "Your soul is strong and all but you really need to be careful. The little one's isn't anywhere near strong enough to deal with just my aura." He continued his walk seeming enjoying watching her run and pry at him like all lost and angry humans did.
"I'm gonna just let you catch up to see what i mean?" Stopping his walking.

"His soul isn't your property, you can't own someone's soul unless they ... He wasn't actually stupid enough to give you his soul was he? Wait. That doesn't matter. Give him back. He was with me and I'm supposed to take care of him, as you can see he can't even friggin' walk and you're certainly not going to take care of him. All you do is kill s**t so there's no way I'm leaving him with you." She continued to follow him as he turned around and started walking backwards, which only managed to piss her off since he was smug about it as if implying she was incompetent. She was far from it and she would prove it by following him until he grew tired of her nattering and finally gave up or if he decided to hand him over peacefully, somehow she doubted the resolution of this would be peaceful.
"Pfft, I've known hamsters with stronger demonic auras stronger than yours so don't you start with me. And for your information Mr. I'm so bad a** my aura can kill babies they're twins. Ceon doesn't know that, though, he just thinks that there's one of them. Now Jesus Christ just give him back. Seriously I'll kick your a** if I have to in order to get him back." She continued to walk toward him without any concern. She was getting Ceon back one way or another and if she was going to have to play the rough way to get him back then she was more than prepared to do so. Of course she might have to actually come up with a battle plan and she certainly wouldn't be able to expose certain parts of herself to any damage whatsoever so this was going to be tricky. She'd never fought a battle where she had certain parts of her that were more delicate than other parts so to day.

Veroen suddenly appeared in front of Edith, with his back to her. He was looking straight at Daiguren, and the unconscious body of Ceon that he carried. His face was mutilated into a snarl. Daiguren had made a threatening gesture towards Eden, and Veroen was already furious to begin with.
Big mistake.
He grasped his broadsword, which was still mounted to his back, but was slightly bigger than Veroen was. This was saying something, considering Veroen's tall frame. His eye was completely black, and was darker than the eye patch that covered his other eye socket.
Veroen was out of patience. Daiguren was not necessarily considered an enemy, but Veroen would not tolerate Daiguren's threats to the love of his life.
One would think it would be hard to maneuver a sword of that size, but Veroen was a Vampire, a very strong and swift Vampire at that.
With a swift movement, he charged forward, and as he did so, Veroen gripped the hilt firmly, and used his inhuman strength to swing the sword over his shoulder, bringing it down in a diagonal motion, doing it too fast for the human eye to see.
His teeth clenched even harder, and his face became more distorted with fury, as he brought the sword down on Daiguren, with the intentions of cutting the Demon in two. The weight of the broadsword made it cut through the air towards Daiguren that much faster, and could not be easily blocked. Daiguren would be lucky to survive if it made contact.
