Just how beastly are Warhammer vampires? I'm a 40k man, so I don't know much about fantasy.
Better question. If a DQ occurs, someone from the waiting list takes the persons place. Y/N?

To expand upon Vin's statement, I think that sucks for them both. Probably gonna be one of the quickest fights this tourney. At least, I hope it is.

Vintrict The dragon has been slain. Maleficent unlocked an achievement. I am still waiting for my fence by the way...

Looks to me like those are homebrew classes. I'm not seeing the PHB ones anywhere, so I doubt they're on the list of actually published ones.

They're actual monsters. Of course, some put up the veil of aristocracy, but they have traditional powers, such as weather and animal control, ridiculous physical attributes, the strongest necromancy in the Old World (outside of Nagash, since he made the buggers), and so on. Of course, they also have the traditional Stoker weaknesses as well, which I find great - almost no vampires have these anymore.

Saphen I am still waiting for my fence by the way... Oh yeah. M. Bison and his crew came in today. Said something about copyright issues and stuff. So, no fence. But, we can bring you a bull in instead.

Also, if I don't manage to get in through no-shows, I swear I'm going to make another parking lot thread.

My advice is to use 3.5 or something, since it gives you basic classes and allows the most customization. You'll find the basic stuff you need here, SRD D20Granted, it's not very useful if you don't have any experience with the technical aspects, at least for running a D&D game. If you just want to run the character, look at things like spells and character classes, or races. For example, a Paladin's abilities are fairly straightforwards. --- Even if you didn't have to fight a Warhammer Fantasy vampire directly, which would be ghastly, you'd still have to contend with the fact that they spawn minions every round with their corpse wagons and s**t like that. It doesn't take much for a Vampire Counts force to just pump undead out every round, since they're basically all about throwing hordes of zombies and skeletons at people.
