Yaru helped Yeesha look like a normal little girl, and the two of them hurried to stay with Rose, Hiei between them.

"Hey look, there she is, I'm not the one that did it!"
The struggling boy cried out, pointing to the group.
Rose didn't have time to freak out or comment as she was embraced by her mother, whom was crying.
"I'm sorry dear, it was the neighbors who called them."
Rose nodded slowly, letting her mother hug her.

Kurama looked for his mother hoping she wasn't freaking out because of the events.
Shiori walked up to her son and smiled, "I'm glad that you found her. Now that you're back I want you to explain some things. I've heard a reason for this, but I want to hear it from you."

Yaru and Yeesha stood side-by-side, looking around at the cops. "...I don't like them..." Yeesha whispered, clinging to Yaru.
"Don't get scared. They're not allowed to hurt children." Hiei muttered, glaring at the nearest cops.

Rose's mother, as well as her father.
"Yes, the whole story would be nice."
"Deal. But first, before we tell you the whole thing, I think Shuuichi has some things he wants to say to the idiot over there. Or do you want to wait, Kurama?"
The name slipped out, but she shrugged it off.

Kurama grinned, "That... he's the one... I... guess it could wait. He can't hide from me now."

Rose smirked back.
"Okay, it's your choice."
She turned back to her parent's confused faces.
"Kurama is his nickname. His demon name. The cops and the idiot can go, they're no longer needed."
She smiled wider, and her parents shook their heads at her.

Kurama watched as the cops already started to leave now that Rose was back safe. He guessed that they felt their job was done.

Rose exchanged a glance with Kurama.

"Let's get inside." Hiei suggested, stepping foreward. "All this stuff is making these two nervous." He jerked his thumb at Yaru and Yeesha.

"Fair enough."
Rose walked quickly inside, and tucked some of her hair behind her ear. She sat on the loveseat, and motioned for Kurama to sit down next to her.
Her mother sat next to her father on the couch, with Shirori next to her.
"Okay you two, so, what exactly is going on here?"
"Well, where do you want us to start?"
"Perhaps with the whole 'demon' thing."
Her father said flatly, not believeing that word just left his mouth.

Rose sighed out loud.
"Okay, basically, we are demons, yes. Fox demons, kitsunes, to be exact. And please, no question till the end. Ya see, from almost our whole demon lives, we've only had each other. We were twins, Kurama and I. He was older, as I'm sure you probably assumed."
