Hatsune Miku heard her name being called from the other direction from where she had entered and looked up in a confused way, cute but clearly confused. She then shut her eyes in a friendly sort of way and smiled. "Neru Onee-chan! I had a feeling you and Haku Onee-chan would be together and at the bar! I wanted to see if you both made it to the academy safely since I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to my two closest friends!" Her computer-like voice held nothing but the most sincerest honesty and pleasantness to the girl who seemed to be in a bad mood (for some strange, unknown reason. Then again, she often had this tone when they ran into each other most of the time. What an odd coincident. Must be bad timing on Miku's part). She then looked to Haku and tilted her head to the side and looked to Haku curiously. "Haku Onee-chan, you seem sad. Is there something wrong? Miku will cheer Haku Onee-chan if se wants~!" She then looked over to the stage. For the first time, she noticed it was a karaoke bar. She hadn't been to one of these before. At least, not that she could remember. It seemed like fun, but then she remembered how sad Haku seemed about her voice. She then thought of something. Haku was probably self concious about her voice again. Miku pursed her lips together tightly, having a feeling that being around may not be helping Haku out at the moment. She then looked back to Neru and smiled a little. "Have you gotten any training done, yet, or did you both just get here, Neru Onee-chan?"(( Dummy Fighting: 200 +82))

As the lamb girl, in her hunger, drew ever so near, Mayonaka Shuku paused for a moment. If she remained still, she could have sworn she could've felt the Pokegirl's very breath against her behind as a slight bead of sweat fell from the side of her head, a blush hidden from view as the silver haired woman faced forward. Approaching the pot which had remained in the same place where they had left it the other night, Shuku removed the lid to peek at the cauldron's contents, and soon a slight sigh of relief escaped her. There was some left after all. Choosing the bowl (or cup) that looked the closest to being clean then, she dipped it into the foodstuff, holding it to the girl then. "Mei... I mean, your Mistress, can heat it up, if you want." Alchemy could do that much... Right? === "A newt?" While it was far too early in the day for Airi to address the matter with much enthusiasm, a look of wonder did dart across her face. A newt? She repeated again in her mind, then gave a mental shrug. While she herself, had both served and been served frog legs in the past, the idea of dining any further into the amphibian cuisine was not a thought that was deemed very pleasant for the maid... Yet... Imagining a girl such as Alice picking out the lizard- like being and devouring it fresh, oddly, did not seem so foreign in her mind. Evidently, at this point, Airi could very much see the girl eating a newt. === Snapping from her daze, it took Menace several moments to realize that her body was coated in a thin layer of... Something. At first, she honestly thought it looked like jelly, but as the memory of the slime girl's 'addition' came to mind, a certain word that started with the letter 'b' followed. "Be silent, Melona," she mumbled in response to Melona's question. Sarcastic or nay, the Imohtep was still figuring out the answer herself. Had she enjoyed last night's events? Definitely. Enough so that she had allowed her passion and lust to override all thoughts of reason... Damn the slime girl for being such an enticing quarry... Though she certainly knew what her ancestors meant now when they addressed the woman as a possible bride. Even if that were the case, Menace would certainly settle with leaving Melona as little more than her concubine. As her thoughts went on, one hand gently dipped it's tip into the jelly like substance coating her form as briefly, she wondered if it tasted as good as it looked. === So a near naked warrior chick and a pint sized, white haired shrimp walk into a grocery store... Now didn't that sound like a joke in the making? She snorted in disgust, hoping such a humiliation would never come to light. Using Honehime as her hook, Echidna dragged herself out of her misery, directing herself towards the girl as a response came. "Is it that you wished to help out the group or was it that you merely did not wish to see no one get hurt? So much so that you would rather make an excuse to leave the entire area in general just so that when the s**t hits the fan you would not have to see the mess?" And so the psychological blow had been thrown... Hopefully Honehime would not fall... She seemed more witty than that. === The warm response from the green singer drew a rather stupefied response from the blond girl. "You expected us to be here? What do you mean by that!?" Of course, the girl was just making herself angry by misinterpreting the innocent nature behind Hatsune Miku's words... Probably because behind those bluish green eyes, she suspected the leek spinning girl to see her in such a condescending light. Her eyes left the 'star singer' as they moved towards Haku, and for a moment, that hard gaze had become one of sympathetic concern. But only for that single moment. "Haku," she started in a gruff tone, highly tempted to just slap the sake jug away, though the thought of provoking a deluge of tears as well as the possibility of having to pay a fine for getting the bar wet prevented her from doing so. "...I told you that when I finished my call, you'd take a break from the liquor." Actually though... Haku had seemingly acknowledged that, as she was now drinking sake rather than anything along the lines of a spirit. Damn. Frigging loopholes. "Training? Of course we've got some training done! Do I look like a slacker to you?!" The impulsive response was said an instant before Neru could properly think anything out. As Hatsune Miku would've probably realized sooner or later (through one way or another) she had not even bothered with training yet. And did she look like a slacker? With all her free time texting and loafing about while Haku drank her misery away? Yes. Akita Neru did seem like a damn slacker.

The young Kaguya had walked deeper into the store, grabbing up a basket to hold the supplies she'd be buying. When Echidna made her accusation, for a moment, Honehime didn't say anything, just looking away, pointedly looking at nothing in particular. But finally, she sighed and returned her gaze to Echidna. "Well, seeing violence firsthand might not exactly be all that high on things I like to do, but I am not scared of it. I know violence and death is a natural part of this world, but that doesn't make me obligated to go looking for it." She shook her head, and then lowered it, idly looking at a box of some supposedly health food that was probably full of preservatives and other less than healthy additives. She was no warrior, but she knew that war and fighting had it's place in the world. (21361 words + 149 words = 21510 words) Lieselotte struggled against the grip her mystery attacker had her in, but she just couldn't get any leverage to try to break free. That didn't stop her from struggling, but it didn't seem to be doing any good. She couldn't even use her hands to try to work a technique or send a command to Elfriede. But then again, Elfriede was a bit different from a normal puppet, she could operate under her own power, and still be more or less effective. The only problem was, she wasn't used to having to pull her punches. Since the attacker was pressed right up against Lieselotte, any attack that she might use could hurt her sister, too. But it was looking like she didn't have any choice in the matter. If she wanted to free Lieselotte, they would have to take at least some risks. So the half there puppet prepared to launch an attack. (17861 words + 159 words = 18020 words) The lamb girl had been following Shuku very closely, so when the Mayonaka paused for a second, that was all it took for her to gently bump into Shuku's rear. She didn't fall over, as it wasn't very strong of an impact at all. And then Shuku resumed walking forward, so the lamb girl followed, this time being a little more careful to not bump into her Alpha. When Shuku took the lid off the cauldron, the lamb girl was already there, looking inside eagerly, practically drooling. When Shuku dished her up a cup of the stew, she was tempted to just eat it as is, regardless of if it was hot or not, but orders were orders. She took one more longing look at the stew, and then nodded, rushing off to find her mistress. A moment later, she had managed to find Mei, who was only to happy to help heat her food up, sketching a simple alchemical array in the dirt once more. A moment later, the lamb girl was eagerly enjoying a hot cup of stew. (24135 words + 183 words = 24318 words) Zenia gritted her teeth as she tightened her grasp on Lieselotte, she was having a harder time holding her still than she would have thought. Good to know that the puppet master's skills were still there, that she hadn't gone soft as well as her other crime. Out of the corner of her eye, Zenia kept an eye on Elfriede, shifting her position to hold Lieselotte between the two, to function as a very unwilling shield. Even so, the puppet seemed to be preparing to attack regardless. She sighed, and finally made a decision. Without giving any sign of her action, she abruptly released Lieselotte, to let the young Akasun sprawl to the ground. She would keep an eye on Elfriede, in case she would try to attack, but otherwise made no further move, just waiting to see what Lieselotte would do. (3794 words + 144 words = 3938 words) Melona's smirk only grew at Menace's offhand command to be silent. Menace was acting more the princess every day, and as that happened, it was just getting more and more fun to tease her. But for now she'd play along, and obediently zip her lip. Instead, she just watched as Menace seemed to think, likely remembering the previous night's session. When the Imhotep finally lowered a hand to gingerly touch the slime splattered over her body, Melona's grin grew, and she wondered if Menace would decide to try tasting it. If so, she'd find it tasty enough, all things considered. At the same time, she focused her will on the mass of the bed, and parts of it began to withdraw into her body, until they were left sitting upon a plain mattress, big enough for the two to remain where they were, but not much beyond that. (6683 words + 155 words = 6838 words) "Well, I suppose it could have been a salamander or gecko or something. I didn't stop to ask it." She grinned half-heartedly at that, wondering if all this talk of amphibians was really the best topic during breakfast. It certainly wouldn't spoil her appetite, but she wasn't as sure about Airi's constitution. She would probably be alright, she seemed to be handling the idea well enough so far. But even so, perhaps a change of topic would be a good idea, just to make sure. So she moved a little closer and simply watched Airi cook for a moment, before asking if she thought that she could maybe learn how to cook things more suited to actually being food items, not random animals or mysterious herbs. She seemed to have a knack for never choosing poisonous ones, but that hardly made it much better. (7132 words + 149 words = 7281 words) Haku looked back and forth between Miku and Neru, and sure enough, the tears rose up and began spilling from her once more. Why? Miku was always so cheerful, so energetic! And Neru, she was feisty but ultimately a good person. And then there was her. Haku. The failure. The mope. The one who could never stay happy, could never stay sober. Compared to them, she was such an ugly person. She sniffled, the tears trailing in dual paths down her face as she hung her head, the sake bottle still held but forgotten in her hand. She tried to fight back the depression, but failed, as always. Why did she have to be this way? Why did her voice have to be so horribly fake? The others' voices were different, but still pleasing to listen to. Her, people wondered if it was someone singing, or just random noises from banging pans together. It wasn't fair! She seemed fairly oblivious to the back and forth between the other two, lost in her own self pity. If not for that, she might have tried to play peace maker between the two, because confrontation was, like so many other things, something that upset her. She looked at Miku and Neru through teary eyes, hoping against hope that they wouldn't notice her bawling in public yet again. It was always so mortifying, and that just made it that much worse! Hatsune Miku's eyes blinked in one-hundred percent pure confusion at the reactions she was getting from Neru. Why was it she always seemed to be on edge, always saying things that often seemed to have another meaning? She seemed to be in a pretty bad mood today, and Miku couldn't really figure out why that was. Any one who saw these two together would clearly see there was obviously some sort of gap between the two, if not a little hostility or uneasiness to some part. It was just that in Miku's little world, she and Neru were the best of friends. Then again, Miku's inner world consisted of hopes, dreams, wishes, and delusions of the real world and every event that was going on around her. It's that simple. She smiled to Neru, closing her eyes once more as she smiled this friendly smile of hers. "Haku Onee-chan seems to like it in bars, and Neru Onee-chan is almost with Haku Onee-chan. The only time Neru Onee-chan isn't with Haku Onee-chan is when Neru Onee-chan is playing one of our little games, like the one where I juggle and you try to hit me with a wooden sword." Alright. Whether it really is a wooden sword or not is debatable, but in Miku's world Neru would never try to hurt her for real. She then heard the part where they had been training. Miku instantly grinned hapily to Neru. "I don't think you're a slacker, Neru Onee-chan~! You're anything but a slacker! How far in your training have you both gotten? Are you far down on the list, too? Are you guys training with a Sensei, or are you both learning on your own with the other to help?" She looked to Haku and saw the silver-haired girl was crying. Rther than make a deal about it and (probably) make things worse for Haku, Miku simply smiled and acted like she didn't see Haku crying. "Haku Onee-chan, you've been very quiet tonight. Are you sick? Have you eaten anything yet today?"(( Sparing: 300 +42))

The witch's chest heaved as her eyes darted to the side of their 'arena'; the grassy clearing in the forest where herself and Kuroshika had been sparring. Though to her, the match was not yet over, for the time being, it was put on hold... Perhaps the alchemist was pitying her. b*****d. The Circe scowled in between breaths, her irritation with such pity only a tier higher than her gratefulness. However, her thoughts strayed from their fight as she kept her gaze on the side. Something was certainly missing... And it didn't take her long to realize it was a certain frill- ridden puppeteer. Without a word, she started towards the place where she had just been seen. Even in her irritation, a pang of concern sprouted as she poked her head amongst the bushes and small trees. "Liese...?" === As Shuku watched the lamb girl gorge upon her meal, she smiled contently. For a moment, she almost felt as if she were a parent upon giving her child some delicacy after a hard day of fun and bonding... Though that was certainly far from the truth... But, the feeling was still there. She looked towards Mei. Was she the 'wife' in all of this...? Evidently so, as she was helping tend to the mischievous girl as well. However, the whole 'and they all lived happily ever after' thing likely wasn't going to happen in this dysfunctional family of misfits. Eventually however, she tried to find a more pleasant side to it all as she seated herself beside the girl. "How is it? === In Airi's eyes, it seemed that Alice didn't seem to value sanitation as much as other people... Picking up and eating whatever she came across in the forest. Of course, the maid could understand her predicament without being completely grossed out, but... The thought of eating a newt was rather unsettling to the woman. She sighed shortly, then rose up to her feet, stretching out briefly as the last of their breakfast was laid out onto a plate before that plate was moved t the rickety table shortly after. Not long after, Alice's question came and the redhead blinked. "You want me to teach you how to cook?" She inquired in mild disbelief. === Soon, a jelly coated finger passed through delicate lips, Menace tasting the weird substance on her with an expression on her face that made it seem that she was bracing herself for the worst... Yet, a less troubled look soon spread across her face. It wasn't a sweet delicacy, as she would've hoped, but it wasn't bad either. Certainly something she'd put on her toast on a casual morning if she wanted something different. It was only after the tasting, that she began to think further into the jelly. "What is this stuff...?" She asked curiously, watching as the 'majestic' parts of the bed all receded back into the body of the slimegirl, however, as she followed the path of the gelatinous substance with her eyes, she found herself staring at Melona as she awaited an answer, still too groggy to put two and two together. === "Don't you wish that you could've helped end the fighting?" The question was brief, but overall, was the woman's main response to Honehime's reaction as she stood beside the girl, looking more like a menacing, but bold older sister to the girl... Oh if only they looked more alike, then such could certainly be a possibility... Then again, Echidna had no desire to change her appearance. She liked how she was now, besides, sex appeal had it's place on the battlefield. However, the silence was soon broken again as she gazed down at the meek girl now... Almost with the eyes of a predator. "I could train you, if you so desired it." === A game? Was that really what Miku thought that incident was? Then again, since her plans had been foiled by the green girl's own lucky aura, the 'star singer' of the Kodahma Clan didn't notice a thing out of place. Her attention jerked back to Haku who, much to her dismay, had returned to the state of being a sobbing mess... Meanwhile, Miku just went on talking, jabbering on and on about training, and Neru herself. The blond however, was silently, keeping her anger to herself. This idiot girl... She was being sarcastic, wasn't she? Oh how she'd make Hatsune Miku eat her words one day... "We haven't started training," She hissed in response, attempting to keep a defensive front against the singer girl while still attempting to be comforting to their not-so-good-sounding kin as she gently pat Yowane Haku's back.

Honehime hesitated, but didn't nod or agree with Echidna's question. Putting her thoughts in order, she finally did reply. "No, I feel it isn't my place to interrupt others' battles. I can bear witness to what happens, but I feel my role is more of a watcher than a changer." Perhaps it was the life spent pursuing the future, or perhaps it was just a general state of shyness in all things. But Honehime didn't care too much for unneeded confrontation, and jumping into another's fight seemed precisely that. Even so, when Echidna offered to train her, she was taken aback. A bit surprised by the generous offer, she blushed slightly before slowly nodding her head. She didn't precisely need to grow stronger physically, but many of the proscribed methods of discovering greater truths came from those whose minds and bodies were as one. "I... I'd like that, thank you..." (21510 words + 157 words = 21667 words) Lieselotte whirled around to see who her attacker was, only to stop in mid movement, eyes widened in shock. "You?! What in ze hell are you doing 'ere?" In her shock, she didn't even notice Sakazuki calling out to her, too surprised to see Zenia of all people. They weren't exactly coworkers, but they had occasionally ended up working for the same contractee, or even cooperating on one particularly difficult mission. But to find her here, of all people, and to be attacking her, then that meant only one thing. She was to be terminated? Well, she wasn't about to let that happen without a fight. She glared at the older girl, knowing she was strong, but knowing that she herself was strong, too. "So zis is what it all comes down to? Zey say I am a threat, and zat is zat?" (18020 words + 146 words = 18166 words) The lamb girl didn't answer at first, too busy eating, and being rather messy at that. If Shuku didn't know better, she would likely assume the lamb girl was related to Mei, sharing the same etiquette. But finally the lamb girl lifted her head from the bowl, smiling happily. "It's yummy!" She licked her lips after saying that, but a dollop of the stew's base escaped her efforts, and slowly ran down her face. A young girl, sheeplike in appearance, with fluffy wool and curved horns. Still naked, and now with white liquid smeared across her face. Why did they have to make the base have milk in it?! And why, especially on such a young looking girl, did it suddenly look so... erotic? Mei, of course, seemed utterly oblivious to all of that, having tidied up the camp a little after helping the sheep girl heat up her meal. (24318 words + 154 words = 24472 words) Zenia only stared coolly at the Akasun as she figured out what was going on shortly after seeing her. She was a quick one, all right. When Lieselotte had finally figured everything out, Zenia shifted her own position slightly, but didn't make a verbal reply for a long moment. Her stance didn't seem to be one for fighting, so perhaps she didn't mean to attack. Or perhaps that was just a ruse, and she was waiting to launch a surprise strike. But finally, she did reply. "They grew tired of waiting for your results. You've been declared MIA-KOS. Missing In Action, Kill On Sight. How shall we do this?" Her instrument case was already in her hand, she had somehow managed to pick it up without being noticed, even though Lieselotte had been staring at her the whole time. (3938 words + 144 words = 4082 words) Melona watched as Menace slowly tasted her slime, and felt a shudder run down her body. Even though that part of her had already been expelled, she could still feel it. So she could actually feel it as Menace basically ate her, and it felt good, sinfully good. She repressed any further overt displays of the pleasurable sensations, and refocused on answering Menace's question. Of course, she could just say what it really was, but where was the fun in that? No, she needed something that was technically true, but vague enough to not really tell Menace anything important. Not tell her anything that would make her unwilling to eat it again, or have it go other places... Finally, she had it! "Um, you can call it Special Jelly! I made it myself, especially for you!" She wasn't lying, that much was true. (6838 words + 145 words = 6983 words) Alice nodded eagerly at Airi's disbelieving reply. "Yeah!" Knowing how to make real food would be so much better than trying to grill or roast whatever small animal I can happen to catch. Obviously there aren't any kitchens in the woods, but to at least know some of the basics would surely help, right?" She looked at Airi hopefully, unwittingly using a very lethal weapon as she pleaded, the dreaded puppy-dog eyes. She eyed Airi hopefully, wanting to learn if possible, although she wondered if the learning process would end up involving her wearing a maid outfit too. Somehow, she wasn't bothered by the idea, but she still didn't know if she could make the look work like Airi did. She didn't have enough curves, for one thing. As well, she had never practiced at moving gracefully or anything like that, she'd barely even ever worn a skirt before! (7281 words + 156 words = 7437 words) Haku's despair only grew deeper when Miku made the mistake of asking about their training. It was all her fault that they hadn't yet finished with their other tasks, to be able to start their training! It was all because of her that Neru couldn't go and start her own training! She should apologize, but she didn't dare speak. Her voice was awful enough as it was, but now that she was in mid sobs, it would be even worse than that! She shook her head sadly, unable to speak, but agreeing with what Neru said, that they hadn't done any training yet. She didn't think Miku would be bothered by that, she was always so cheerful about, well, about pretty much everything. But Haku knew the disappointment would be there. Buried deep perhaps, but it would be there. She tried to pull herself together, and slowly her sobs subsided. Tears still ran freely down her face, but she wasn't actively crying any longer. Normally, people would feel refreshed after a big cry like the kind she usually had. But her? She wasn't so lucky. Of course. After a big cry, she always felt empty, like she'd lost another important part of herself. And that only made her more depressed. "I-I'm s-sorry Ne-r-ru..." (907 words + 227 words = 1134 words)

Hatsune Miku fell quite. Something that didn't happen often. Her usual smile was gone too as she looked off to the side. It wasn't that she was disappointed in her friends in the least. No, she never would be disappointed of her own kin. She loved her kin dearly, even more so than the leeks that she was often holding, which currently were stored in her book bag. No. She was disappointed in herself. She was trying to say the right things and do the right things to make her friends happy, but once again it seemed that she was messing up. She just couldn't figure it out. When she entered the academy in her odd fashion, people laughed. She made them happy. Sensei would some times try not to laugh while he helped her train as well. For some reason, though, Neru and Haku weren't as easy to please, though. She knew Haku was always contradicting herself and always feeling like she was doing things wrong and messing up, but that honestly wasn't the case. Maybe she needed to let Haku know that it wasn't her fault. Miku smiled a little before going to Haku and throwing her arms around the crying, silver-haired singer to give her a hug. "Don't be upset, Haku Onee-chan! I'm almost done with my training since Sensei helped me out a lot, so I can help you both train, if you want my help." She smiled and let go of Haku, but kindly and in a sisterly way wiped the tears off Haku's cheek with her thumbs while cupping her chin with her other fingers, continuing to smile. "You look much prettier when you aren't crying, Haku Onee-chan. Even prettier when you smile~! Haku Onee-chan has the prettiest smile of us all~! Isn't that right, Neru Onee-chan? Haku Onee-chan's the one with the prettiest and most sincere smiles when she does smile~!" She hoped desperately that Neru would go along with it (not that it was a lie. Miku really did think Haku had a very pretty smile when she did smile) and (hopefully) make Haku feel better. After all, the happiness of her friends were what mattered most to the young singer. She didn't care very much for anything else when her friends were around. Though, it raised the question as to why Neru would lie and say they had trained. Didn't she know that lieing would have upset Haku since she would have known the truth and felt guilty? Still, best to try and calm Haku down some. Miku lightly hummed Haku's favorite song to see if she would join along in humming. Maybe it'd help her feel better to hum the song that she liked so much. At least, Miku hoped it would. And, at least this way, Miku wouldn't be singing, so Haku wouldn't feel self concious. All Miku could do was hope that these simple gestures would cheer up the sad kin member for at least a little bit. Sure, Neru was probably going to get annoyed, but Miku meant well.(( Meditating: 300 +212))

Sakazuki, upon hearing no immediate response, ventured further into the bushes. Though her head throbbed from the extensive action that she had just pushed her body through, she could hear sounds deeper within the underbrush... Voices? Taking several more steps forward, the sounds steadily grew clearer as she listened. There were two voices beyond the bushes. One was Liese, definitely, but the other... It was no one from their camp, Sakazuki was sure on that one. With curiosity growing within her then, the Circe disregarded stealth, marching through the plants a moment later. === Realizing that the girl was still naked, Shuku turned for a moment, extending her arms for a moment as she managed to grip the edge of her pack, pulling it closer as she rummaged through it's contents for a moment. Soon, she pulled out another spare tank top and a pair of pants... Shorts, after all, was something she rarely wore, having been too selfconscious to reveal her legs... The tanks however, were okay. They were hardly, if ever, revealed anyway as the Mayonaka usuall wore her sweater. Staring at the pants suddenly with a forlorn expression she sighed. Even with a belt, she realized that making them fit her would be a stretch... Or rather, quite the opposite. She turned to make sure as she placed the fresh clothes in her lap, looking to the lamb girl for a moment only to freeze suddenly at the sight before her (which reminded her very much of her sexcapades with Mei). "...You ...You have a little... Something, on your face." === Airi thought for several moments then gave a slight nod, evidently agreeing to fulfill Alice's request. However, if she wished to learn how to cook, it would require more groceries... And more resources to fulfill the countless ways to cook. After all, a simple grill skillet could only do so much. "Though... It'll take some time." If she was back home, then certainly, her Master would give them everything they needed to make their goal a reality... But here in this cheap little apartment? Hell, they were better off in the wilderness with a campfire... Then again, Alice probably would be on the move, camping a lot and all that stuff (since she seemed to be dining upon all sorts of wildlife) so perhaps a campfire was the best start? === "A special jelly?" Menace repeated just as soon as Melona had answered as she scooped another dollop of jelly with her fingertip. She examined the substance again before she placed it in her mouth... However, it was at that very moment that everything seemed to make sense and the truth revealed itself... Oh, such a wicked truth it was. Her finger slid slowly from her mouth as she stared at the saliva coated digit, which now showed utterly no signs of the jelly and a look of horror spread across her face, the thought of the slime girl's... Appendage, from the other night coming to mind. This was...!
=== "It's nothing... Consider it a trade of sorts. You've given me knowledge of the Tournament, and in exchange, you will receive knowledge of equal value. It sounds fair, doesn't it?" The woman asked as she smiled gently, then looked around, as if suddenly unsure if they were being watched, though her expression was the same when she looked down at the girl. It seemed she would be able to play with this meek little girl for a little longer... Perhaps drag her out of her shell and break it so that she'd never return to it. No... Echidna wasn't that cruel... Was she? Then again, she was an Orochi. === Neru gave a 'don't drag me into this!' sort of look to Miku as the green themed girl attempted to comfort Haku before she drowned in a sea of her own tears. Though she usually got all drill instructor on Haki most of the time shouted 'SUCK IT UP!' or something like that, there were times when the golden haired girl realized that Haku really was in a depressional mess as she gave a sigh. "Calm down Haku... Miku's right. You've got a great smile," she said quietly before pausing. There was the matter of training that had to be addressed as well, wasn't there? She sighed. "And since Miku's trained already, we can always..." She trailed off, as if she dreaded what she had to say next as she gave a noisy swallow, pushing her pride down as she did so as she finished, though it dreaded her to do so: "...A-Ask her for... He- Help..." There. She said it. Now she needed a freaking drink.

Kane sighed as he layed on his back. It was turning dark outside slowly, but his body was refusing to move now. He couldn't help a smile to emerge. His body surged with exhaustion at that, but he was well aware of that. He then felt laughter burst out of him for awhile as he thought of the day. He was exhausted and horribly sore, but seemed to find it funny. It soon stopped as the sunset colors were filling the portion of the sky he could see. He had an assumption someone was close by or following him oddly too... He closed his eyes deciding it was better to rest even if it meant assassination. Though he couldn't fall asleep because of a certain thought... 'She' was in his head.

"Well... I suppose that does sound fair. Very well, I accept your offer, thank you." She was still a little nervous about the idea of training, especially with someone who seemed as capable as Echidna. Would she even be able to keep up? She knew some of the bare necessities of fighting, more survival skills than anything. She knew some of her Kaguya clan's techniques. She knew a few basic techniques that she had discovered through long periods of isolation and silent study. But actual fighting? In that regard, she was exactly the novice that she appeared to be. She had never tested herself against a warrior, never fought to save her own life, or another's. Never fought to prove she was right, or for any other real reason. she stayed silent for a moment longer, thinking about what the training might be like, as she grabbed more of the needed groceries. (21667 words + 154 words = 21829 words) Lieselotte glared at Zenia for a long moment, weighing her options. She didn't want to fight her if she had to, there was no guarantee that she would win. After all, Zenia was a fighter, a brawler. Lieselotte, on the other hand, was more skilled at sneak attacks, assassinations and long-distance warfare. Something like this, up close and personal, wasn't exactly her strong suit. But she refused to just let herself be killed, so what choice was there? She avoided glancing down at Elfriede, not needing to look to know where her sister was. Slowly, a plan started to come together. she was so focused on the looming threat of a fight that she didn't even notice Sakazuki's approach, as brazen as it was. She was focused on preparing to fight, to try to stay alive no matter what. (18166 words + 144 words = 18310 words) Mei saw Shuku begin pulling a few pieces of clothing out of her bag, and wondered if the Mayonaka needed to change her outfit again. They had both just been steam cleaned with her alchemy, had she gotten messy again? It didn't look like it, but then why would she need more clothes? Of course the answer was obvious to everyone else. Meanwhile, the prospective wearer of said clothes seemed to delight in the minor mess she'd made of her face. She moved a hand up to her face while tilting her head back and slowly wiped up the stew before bringing her now just as messy hand to her mouth to slowly lick it off, bringing erotic innuendo to a whole new level. It seemed impossible that she could be acting that way without knowing precisely what she was doing. (24472 words + 143 words = 24615 words) Zenia perked her head slightly to the side as she heard someone approaching. She assumed it would be an ally of Lieselotte's. The Akasun had seemed to have gathered others to her side, but was it just coincidence, or was it in preparation for just such an occasion as this? She narrowed her eyes slightly, but didn't make a move until Sakazuki would emerge from the brush. She would then carefully size up the new girl as well, before making another proclamation, what would likely be her last warning. "You've disappointed them, Achenbach. They demand you be punished. Don't make this hard on yourself, and I'll make it quick." An instant later, her weapon was on her arm. It was a very peculiar looking instrument, but none the less deadly for it's design. a stylized gold gauntlet, and a long dark metal spike housed within it, running parallel to her forearm. (4082 words + 157 words = 4239 words) Melona had still been watching Menace fairly closely, so luckily she didn't miss out on that priceless look of shock as realization struck the Imhotep. She wanted to burst out laughing at that, but held her tongue, wanting to see how Menace might react further. This was so much fun, she was incredibly glad that she had decided to stick around and play with the busty princess. The past couple of weeks had been so boring, but now she had a new playmate in every sense of the word. She wondered if it was possible that she could get Menace pregnant. Since Menace seemed to be a princess, would that make Melona royalty, too? That would certainly be a sight to see! A slight grin spread across her face, unable to stop it. She looked at Menace silently for a moment longer before reaffirming what she had said. "Yes. A... very... special jelly." (6983 words + 154 words = 7137 words) Alice grinned happily when Airi agreed to teach her how to cook, and was about to ask if that meant they could start right away. Well, after breakfast, at any rate. But then Airi beat her to the punch by saying it would have to be a little later. She pouted a little, but she supposed it wasn't too bad having to wait. After all, she'd lasted this long without knowing more than the absolute basics of boiling water and a few other tricks she'd come up with herself. So waiting a little more wouldn't be that bad. She nodded again, agreeing once more. With that, she looked down at her meal, and cut off a bite of the okonomiyaki, before picking the piece up with a fork and popping it in her mouth. It was still a little hot, but overall very good. The cabbage still had a crispness to it that made it seem more robust than the pancake it seemed so similar to. (7437 words + 170 words = 7607 words) Haku looked from Miku to Neru, and back again. Were they really agreeing? That, as much as anything else either of them did, grabbed her attention and helped her to rise, at least temporarily, out of the abyss that was her own private depression. She tried to smile, but it was a pretty sad attempt. It was a start, though. She blinked a few times, feeling how her eyes felt kind of puffy now, from the crying. She should probably try to wash her face, she probably looked pretty messed up at the moment. She tried to widen her smile, but it seemed reluctant to go past the bare minimum to even qualify as a slight grin, let alone an actual smile. Her eyes widened when Neru worked up the courage to admit that they hadn't done any training, and to even ask her rival for help. That surprised Haku, she knew that Neru viewed Miku as her eternal rival, so to even suggest such a thing, she had to be trying really hard. That improved Haku's spirits, if the other two were trying so hard, then she felt she had to do the same, or else she would let them down again. She sighed, feeling a bit of the great weight she perceived herself to carry being lifted away, and straightened her shoulders a little. Her face was still streaked with tears, but it seemed she was back to what passed as her normal self. Even though she flinched as she first started talking, she pushed on, determined to at least thank her two friends and clanmates. "Miku... Neru... Th-thank you both... thank you." Hatsune Miku smiled. Neru had actually admitted that Miku might be able to help. This made Miku so happy that she almost jumped Neru and gave her a big hug.... Take note of the word "almost." She didn't want to risk changing Neru's mind so quickly just by giving her friend a hug (or, more or less, glomp her), so she just stuck with smiling. She then looked to Haku, relieved to see that their friend had stopped crying and was now smiling. Not too big of a smile, but a smile is still a smile, and to see one from Haku was definately something worth getting excited about. Again, she resisted that urge to glomp her friend and ay how happy she was that they accepted any help she offered. She then thought for a moment and then smiled to both. "If you guys haven't eaten anything, then I'll pay for something. Then, afterwards, we can go train for a little bit. Unless you guys are tired and want to get a hotel and rest. I'm fine with that too. So long as you're happy, I'm happy~!"

The Circe saw a head of white hair and instantly assumed that she had found Lieselotte, but then her eyes darted towards the other form. No. That was Lieselotte... Then who was the person standing several meters in front of her now? Definitely the source of the other voice, but it certainly wasn't any person that she had seen before. She examined the person's attire in silence and paused. A boy? Her eyes soon strayed from the person herself, rather focusing upon the strange device attached 'his' arm. Was it a weapon? She was about to raise a question when a thought recurred to her. Liese had certainly said something along the lines of that if she didn't do it, they'd someone else to fulfill the job. Was this that 'someone else'? The Circe's fist clenched then. === Shuku cringed slightly at such an enticing image. She licked her lips slightly, her mouth suddenly feeling quite dry as she looked away briefly, focusing on Mei for a moment, hoping that she would be useful as a distraction for once. Unfortunately, no. She cursed such luck. The one time she needed the cowgirl to be doing something incredibly stupid to distract her from the lamb girl's utterly explicit innuendos and she had to be doing nothing! However, another thought soon came to her as she tossed the clothes to the cowgirl suddenly. "You can use alchemy to resize those, right?" === Airi placed her own share of the food on her place as she sat now at the table, a look of thought on her face. Evidently, she had no idea of how she was going to work this whole affair out, but she'd try to find a way, for Alice's sake. She took a mouthful of the pancake like dish, allowing it to serve as her fuel for thought. Perhaps they could return to the ramen stand? Though she didn't have to work today, she could probably slip in when no one else was working to teach Alice on how some of the things worked. It wouldn't be much, but it'd be better than working with this pathetic plug- in skillet. Besides, they might even find the girl's lost bag. With that, she voiced the suggestion to the other girl. === A flush of crimson flooded the little princess' face as realization swept through her entire body like a sudden shock. Melona had continued on... Even when the Imohtep had gone to sleep... And then this 'jelly' was 'made' by the slime girl... In her mind, Menace was shaking her head furiously. Suddenly, her eyes darted towards the staff that she had left near the door... The one that had held her ancestors. They... They had seen it all happen, hadn't they? The girl shamelessly engaging in Melona's seduction, then Melona's act of 'topping it all off' in the end. Why the hell didn't they stop her!? They didn't already accept her as Menace's lover, did they? Godsdammit all! "What did you do to me!?" She cried out in frustration now as she stared at the slime girl. She knew the answer... But she just had to shout it out. === "Then let us finish our work here, then we'll see what precautions needed to take afterwords." After all, if they bought something like, say, ice, they wouldn't exactly have time to dawdle and dilly-dally. However, seeing as they'd be traveling for some time, the Orochi was quite doubtful that the girl would have something like a cooler on her... After all, if they were going camping, one would only need to take what one could carry. And though Honehime was traveling in a group, Echidna was quite doubtful that one of her companions had a cart or something along those lines on their hand. Thus, this would merely be a simple period before training began... Then, she could properly assess this bone girl. === The blond singer blinked as Haku seemed to be put into a better mood by their actions. With that, a bashful smile spread across her face as she pat the white haired woman's back several times as if to say 'Good job!' to her before she took up the stool next to Haku, placing an order for a shot of cider. Such a request however, earned a rather baffled look from the bartender who, with a sigh, decided to follow through with her order. It was soon then that she took note of the options that Miku had lay before them. She sipped the apple cider, smiling slightly at it's sweet taste before she returned to the matter at hand. "...I, frankly, don't care either way. And if you intend to buy us dinner, than I suppose a hotel is the only real option." She wasn't going to lie, but judging from what she had seen earlier, the food at this bar sucked... Or at least it did by her standards. She sighed slightly, deciding that she shouldn't hog the decision making hot seat. "What do you think Haku?"

Honehime nodded when Echidna suggested they finish up their shopping and then move on. She could tell that at some level, Echidna wasn't too comfortable in a crowded, urban place like this. She could identify with that, she felt a bit out of place, too. And they both looked even more out of place, with their outlandish garb. She she mentally ran through the list of foodstuffs she had been planning on buying, and proceeded to grab the remaining items without ceremony. Soon, she had found everything she needed, and proceeded to check out. By now she had a decent supply of food, mostly dried or types that didn't need to be kept cold. Jerky, dried fruits, fresh fruit, several easy-open cans of vegetables, and assorted other things, including a small stack of travel dinners. Dubbed MRE for Meal- Ready to Eat, they lasted indefinitely, even if they weren't the most appetizing fare. she paid for the groceries, and looked over the several bags she had amassed. Feeling a little embarrassed at having to ask for help, she did just that. There were just a few too many bags for her to handle well on her own. (21829 words + 201 words = 22030 words) Lieselotte's eyes narrowed when she saw Zenia prepare for battle, her gauntlet already on her arm. Had she gotten even faster since the last time they had fought? This wouldn't be easy. She saw motion out of the corner of her eye but didn't dare look away from Zenia to see what it was. She tried looking closer, and recognized Sakazuki. Considering their oil and water relationship, she didn't know if the Circe's presence was good or bad. She prepared to attack, the fingers of one hand shifting slightly as invisible chakra strings connected to Elfriede, a better way to convey her instructions rather than through her voice. "Sakazuki. If you don't want to get dragged into zis, zen run away now. It seems my associate has come after all." (18310 words + 136 words = 18446 words) Mei hadn't noticed the lamb girl's erotic display, nor had she noticed Shuku's growing nervousness. What she did notice were the clothes. Of course, by the time she noticed them, they had already hit her in the face. Not hard, just being clothes, but still enough to startle her. She thrashed for a bit until finally she could see again. She looked back over at Shuku and nodded vigorously, the dangling pant legs flapping much like her bovine ears did. "Sure! At least... I think I can. One way to find out!" With that, she set about removing the clothes she'd been struck with, and trying to remember the proper transmutation array. At the same time, the lamb girl was eying Shuku as she continued to put on a show, knowing precisely the reaction she was having on her harem sister. (24615 words + 145 words = 24770 words) Zenia was preparing to strike while more or less ignoring the new girl. That is, until Lieselotte addressed her. At that, she paused in her attack. That couldn't be right. Since when did Lieselotte, the 'Crimson-Eyed Criminal' care about bystanders? She had gone soft after all! Zenia gritted her teeth as she rushed forward, closing the distance between her and the Akasun rapidly. "You should be ashamed of yourself, Achenbach! going soft and making friends, that's not like you! Where's the old you that would kill an infant for crying too loud?" Once closing the distance, she would attempt to crash into Lieselotte with a shoulder rush, followed up by her pivoting on her foot to lash out with a kick aimed at her opponent's leg to try to knock her off balance. (4239 words + 138 words = 4477 words) Melona smirked again, lounging back like Menace's frantic demand didn't carry the Imhotep's full attention. She looked around the room for a moment before letting her eyes return to her partner. "If you have to ask, then we weren't doing it right. Don't worry, Princess. I'll make sure your royal line doesn't end with you." She grinned again, having said what really happened, but again, not saying it outright, making Menace have to figure out the exact details on her own. She didn't mention what else she had done. She could already tell that that particular excuse wouldn't have gone over well at all. If she had answered honestly about what she'd done at the end, she would have had to say that she was marking Menace to show everyone she belonged to her. Yeah, that wouldn't have gone over good at all. (7137 words + 154 words = 7291 words) Alice finished chewing her bite of food before replying. She may have been a rather coarse and even brash girl, but even she knew it wasn't good to talk with one's mouth full. She nodded, saying that it sounded like a fine idea. She remembered how yummy the ramen had been, so surely there were great secrets to be had by going there to learn how to cook. She was diving head first into the world of cooking, but that didn't mean she was giving up on her other goal. Far from it. She would not give up on the Queen's Blade tournament, not this easily! She was just taking a break while she finished healing, and adding to her skills. You never knew when something you learned could be useful, so she was determined to know as much as she could about a great many subjects. A Queen had to be able to do that much, right? (7607 words + 162 words = 7769 words) Haku was nearly knocked off balance by the energetic back slaps. She did manage to stay upright, and straightened out, having gotten used to Neru's occasional energetic forms of expression. Miku, too. She knew better than to say it, but in some things, they could almost be called alike. She hesitated at even thinking that particularly dangerous thought, though. Instead, she looked back and forth between the two for a moment longer, as Miku offered to treat them to dinner. Neru seemed for it, and now that she thought about it, she really should try to eat something, too. After all, she had been drinking for quite some time, and on an empty stomach. But she would feel bad to make Miku pay for all three of them. "Th-that's generous of you to offer, Miku, b-but you don't have to-" her words were cut off by a sudden unexpected growling noise. She blushed furiously and looked at the floor, embarrassed that her stomach had overruled her decision. If she were to really think about it, even something as simple as a growling stomach could make her depressed all over again. After all, when her stomach growled, it sounded more or less like anyone else's. So why was her voice so horrible?! Luckily, she didn't actually stop to think that line of thought. Yet. There was a good chance she eventually would, though. (1412 words + 239 words = 1651 words)

Hatsune Miku smiled and nodded. "It's alright, Haku Onee-chan! I dont mind. I brought a lot of money with me, just in case. We can eat and then go get a room and hang out. It'll be like a sumber party~!" Miku was in that little fantasy world of hers, again. She really did enjoy getting to be with these two. She didn't really know any one else besides Haku and Neru, so she thought of them as being almost like sisters. She couldn't help it, though. She just got so happy being with these two that she normally did call them her sisters. That's how much she loved being with them, even if Haku did get depressed often and Neru had a funny way of expressing her friendship with others. It was these traits that Miku truly adored about the two of them. "Is there any where in particular you both want to go to? Any certin type of food you want? I don't mind."

Sakazuki spoke to her, however, the words didn't seem to register instantly, the Circe distracted as the one whom she believed to be a boy launched himself forward towards the puppeteer. Yes. This definitely had to be the person. It soon registered within her mind what Lieselotte had said and that was all it took to confirm it. Yes... This was the true villain in this whole affair, wasn't it? So if Sakazuki could take her out, this whole mess concerning the Academy would be over and done with, wouldn't it? With that, she flung forward, hoping that she would reach the stranger before he arrived at Lieselotte as she aimed a kick towards the side of the assassin's head. Even if she was wounded and worn out, she was not dead... Yet. === Try as she might, even as she looked away, Shuku could still see the lamb girl's sexual innuendos from the corner of her mind, as if the girl was attempting to entice her into such a lewd act. No, she declared mentally. There was no way that this innocent sheep girl was that kind of person... Oh who the hell am I kidding!? This brat was a PokeGirl! She full well knew what sort of effect such an attitude would have on the silver haired Moon Ninja as she found it harder and harder to ignore the child... After all, young or old, most people would be compelled to look at such a thing be it out of perverse thoughts or merely it was just something weird to look at. "...How long are you going to keep that up?" === Airi smiled as Alice seemed to be quite accepting to the idea. Good. Everything could work out then. Upon finishing her meal (Airi never ate much, which was often why she could take a few bites then get to fulfilling her daily chores back home) she rose to her feet, again a wince going across her face as her joints almost seemed to creak... Of course they weren't rusty, but the achy, almost throbbing pain was finally beginning to have an effect on the maid. Perhaps she should've taken advantage of that idiot swordsman's medicine? Either way, she certainly wasn't going to seek his help any time soon... Still, she'd might as well test if he had affected them at all. "How are your wounds, Alice?" She inquired shortly then. === b***h!It seemed that though she was willing to properly admit what had happened, it was oh so evident to them both... And Melona was just saying things that would provoke her to bring the act to light herself. She shook her head in dismay as she finally found herself staring at Melona. Oh well. She'd might as well wake up and smell the pheromones now while they were still hot. A hand extended, gripping one of the jelly like hands that covered Melona's impressive bust before she yanked on it, attempting to pull the slime girl to her rather than actually reveal her boobs to the Imohtep as her face contorted into a worked up snarl. "If I do ever come to hold an heir because of this, you'd better take responsibility for it then, Melona." She wasn't quite sure if fertilization was possible in this state... But she wasn't going to take any chances. === Without a sound, Echidna came to Honehime's aid, taking up the remaining groceries in her arms as she mentally recounted their items. While of course, this was solely because the girl's group would be on the road and perishables would fail at being a wise choice, the Orochi couldn't help but see the foodstuffs more as rations than proper groceries... Something to nibble on during a mission because eating a real meal, for whatever reason, would be accessible... But then again, in the forests, even a bagful of the groceries were full of delicacies compared to some of the foods within the woods... Especially if the poor sap who was trying to play 'survivorman' was an inexperienced little b*****d. "I assume you would prefer to begin your training after we deliver these to your... Campsite?" She seemed to take a moment to choose the proper word. === "It's settled then. We'll feast." Though it was a remark born from Haku's stomach growl, Neru was also quite eager to dip into Miku's fortune... While she wasn't necessarily greedy, the fact that Hatsune Miku had more money than her signified only one thing: she was a better singer, thus, more people often payed even more money just to go listen to one of her songs live. For the sake of Haku, the blond kept herself from lashing out and she soon released the shot glass before it would shatter under the pressure of the squeeze. "Wherever is expensive," she said finally, drawing out her cellphone to look at the time. "I don't know about you, but I have no intention to hang about in some lame a** motel and get cheap service and food. I want the good stuff."
