Kojiro opened his mouth to respond, pausing a moment with it open, and suddenly going on in a somewhat shaky voice. "I... I didn't say any of that, it's just... well, I dunno, it's not like I'm some great ninja anyway, I don't see what says I might be... I mean... I've adapted, but all nin are supposed to do that and... uh, well... um, what do you mean? How would I know what could make me more confident." if he hadn't been blind, he would have blinked in confusion.

Kaida sighed. Some people were just so stubborn in their habits! "Look, the entire time you were talking, your body language was implying that you are self-concious and unconfident. There are more ways of being a great ninja besides just bashing some heads and losing an eye. Just because nin are supposed to adapt, doesn't mean they do."

"Take my siblings. Right now, most of them want to be nin when they grow up. They see themselves as ninja already. However, if you were to throw them into a totally alien situation and say 'Nin are supposed to adapt, so adapt', they would most likely be unable to accomplish the feat."

Kaida pursed her lips in thought to the other question she had asked. "As to what would make you more confident...compliments don't seem to be working. So, what do you like to do? I don't just mean by yourself...okay, example."

"If you like to run a lot, but think that you could never be a great runner, why not run against others? Even if you lose, that should spur you into training until you can beat that person, then the next, and so on. Do you get it?"

"I guess what I'm saying is, in order to be confident, you have to be comfortable. Not just with yourself, but with everything and everyone around you. That means if you feel comfortable fighting in a forest setting, bring someone with similar tastes along and fight with them. If you like to swim naked in the river outside of a small, nameless village, find another person who likes that as well and get them to go with you. I guess it's really a matter of slowly bringing yourself up to date, do you get it?"

Having gotten the same speech from her father when she was younger had confused Kaida to no end. Until she started asking everything she could think of, and having it explained. She just hoped that Kojiro wouldn't ask her to explain any more, because she was just tired enough where her mind didn't seem to grasp the concept of explainations.

Serashi is walking in the streets of konoha showing off his new headband in the back of his head... ''Well, im a real ninja now... Lets see how far i can get''

He walked up the street of the now silent village. He was going to meet them somwhere a bit outsiede. He thought he had abanded his old life but it always seemed to catch up with him. He grabed his left arm and felt his head band and smiled again. At least he had this to show to them. They thought he was wasteing his time. He continude to walk down the street. He took another deep breath.

"Umm.... I guess... that most of that makes sense." he said, somewhat uncertainly, shrugging. "I can see where it's good advice, where I might apply it to other things too... I... guess I see what you're saying, but I don't know that it makes me a great ninja anyway. I don't know what exactly I was doing, um, body language..." he shifted uncertainly again and shrugged. He wasn't used to paying attention and thinking about how he might be displaying emotion. "I just don't know that I really deserve that complement. Maybe I'll earn it someday- but for now, I'm just trying to do what I do right... right?"

She looks around and happens to notice him.

"Hey, Uchiha-sensei!!! Why havent you been training me? I thought we had a deal?"she asks, a playful stern look on her face.

As Karnage watched the people walk by, he thought to himself, "I should find him..." he then sat down by a building, and a silver tear fell down his face.

"Wha? oh hey Cerbi..." he then wiped the tear from his face and said, "Yeah I'm fine." he then heard in the night an owl hoot. At that moment he threw a kunai in its direction and his face turned from sad to a picture of pure hate.
