The knife, though a small pain, lead to a great problem as Quint was now stuck inside an extremely snug trap. Holding his breath, he began to think of something, since time was running out quickly.

He knew no one was going to help, espically the man who caused this to happen in the first place. Explosions weren't happening either; in order to do that he needed to get his hands together, and that outlook didn't look too bright.

An idea, but it'd have to be done quickly, and without interruption. He closed his eyes, and both arms began to pulse a purple color, even though noone could see it. During his casting, he mentally sighed to himself, he hated not being able to move. They'd both suffer for that.

After a few seconds from encasing herself and Quint in the hard black material of her minions, Morrigan began to have coherent thought again. The tide of the battle had turned against her so quickly before that she had been put into a state of shock, and was just now coming out of it. She was now beginning to grasp where she was and what had just happened... which made her very angry.

The spell took some time to complete, and by now Quint's lungs had begun to scream at him for air. Slowly opening was the dark, solid trap, being pushed out by a massive force.

One foot, then an arm, and soon he could move his entire leg, the rest of his body following suit. He was still inside the dome, but his spell did give him some breathing room. Literally.

Taking hard, desperate gasps of air, Quint then started on working his way out, punching and kicking. It seemed to do some damage, but the steel like dome was just too hard for his blows to penetrate.

"Oh..I'm dumb.." Quint scolded himself, suddenly realizing the simplicity of his trouble. His hands came together, as if he was in prayer, but they were pressed against his chest where his pendant was. The low grumble of the earth and the moans of something in pain were heard as Quint continued his spell.

"When I get out of here, you're both going down.." He swore to himself as the quake of the earth became worse.

"When I get out of here, you're both going down.." He swore to himself as the quake of the earth became worse.

"Oh no you don't!" Morrigan yelled. "You're not going anywhere!"

The material surrounding them both suddenly became viscous, flowing onto and past them like a cold mud bath. As the material passed Quint however, a small amount of it adheared to the full surface of his head and neck, forming a hard, form-fitting helmet and mask. It was devoid of holes so that Quint could once again not see, hear, or breathe. The rest of the material was now on the ground, holding Quint's feet in place.

"I really don't want to hurt you, but I'm not sure what I have to do to prove that I've won..." Morrigan said in vain, knowing that Quint couldn't hear her. She decided to send the message another way by creating a sharp inward edge where the helmet met his neck, slicing though the out-most layer of his skin and effectively saying:

"Don't move."

Quint had just caught his breath from the first time, and now he was forced to stop breathing. Again.

He noticed that his hands were free, so he tried to tear at the mask, but to no avail. The slight cut on his throat froze him, and for the first time in the fight, he was scared.

Quint then thought for a moment. It didn't look too good for him winning; he was trapped by her bats, his throat at the mercy of Morrigan.

He held out for a long time, his head getting dizzy. Quint fell to his knees, quite painfully though as he still couldn't move his feet. Reluctantly, one arm came up. That hand was balled up and shaking, and he pounded the ground hard with his other fist.

He hated to lose.

Rioushu looked at them both and scratched his head. "Man, it'd be REALLY hard to beat either one of them." Rioushu said, charging up his sword just in case Quint was about to die.

As soon as his fist hit the ground, the mask around Quint dissipated into half a dozen small bats, as did the ground beneath them. A few stayed with Morrigan and re-formed her wings, though the vast majority once again took residence in the estate.

Morrigan slowly approached a gasping Quint. "You put up a good fight, darling. In fact, if Rioushu hadn't been here, it might have gone in a different direction," Morrigan said with a smug expression. "But don't feel like he cheated you out of a victory. Just like my bats, the men around me also constitute my weaponry whenever they see me in danger."

As she began to turn and walk away towards Rioushu, she stopped mid-step. "Oh, and one more thing. I wanted to praise you, not just for your strength or for your determination, but for the common sense you displayed just now in accepting defeat. I don't usually have the opportunity to talk with some of my more... stubborn opponents. In any case, I'll see you when you're done licking your wounds," she gloated.

Rioushu smirked, almost cynically as Morrigan stopped to talk to Quint about his loss. "Woahoho, woah now, let's not get ahead of ourselves now Morrigan. I'm sorry, but there are two things WAY wrong with your statement. First of all, I'm not one of your men, I haven't been claimed by you in anyway whatsoever....well, yet anyway. And the second thing, don't think that help will come for free. Oh my, no, gracious no. For you see, I want a little something from you, a little something all people like me want from a girl like you. That's right, a little action...no, nothing sexual, just a little fight. I'm a born fighter, and you seem to have great power. So, when you recover, I want to fight you, one on one, or however many followers you want to bring with you." Rioushu said.

He then walked over to Quint. "So, lost againt Morrigan huh? Well, sorry about that, she looked a little close to death, and I don't like to see people die, so I felt it my civil duty to help. However, if you ever feel like getting back your pride, I'll be happy to fight you as well."

Aonice was seen as Morrigan turned back towards her estate, walking just passed Rio... Her eyebrows furrowed, annoyed, her small arms crossed over her full chest. Her blue eyes peered at Morrigans, not with a glare, but rather a slight hint of annoyance, and alot more of the sheer want to fight her. She glanced aside as Morrigan neared, not exactly knowing what to say, but her surface thoughts were pretty appearent, just from the look on her face.

Aonice's impatient grip on her elbow, her annoyed features in her face, the biting of her lip, she was angry, even slightly scared. her thoughts were loud enough for even the most 'telpathetic' succubi to hear; she simply coudn't comprehend the sheer amount of power held on this small island, and she knew she wasn't able to contain or controll it, how could she be able to prove her leadership over the island if she can't even beat half the people on it in a simple fight. She wasn't brought up to completly trust people, spending her years training and fighting. She had little to no idea what to do, but attempted what she knew..

She sighed and simply pushed herself off the tree, stepping lightly towards Quint, her fist balled, her arm firm. She wanted to hit him, but saved it for a more appropiate time. Her eyes never really looked at his though, or him for that manner, simply at the ground a few feet infront of her..

Quint smiled after she said that, mainly because he knew that he would probably be the first person helping Morrigan if he found her in trouble.

He became silent, allowing her the victory speech she deserved. "Well.." He began, "Can I have my wings back? I feel almost naked without them.." Quint reached back where they would be and felt nothing except his shirt.

Quint turned to Rioushu. "No, I'm fine, really. If I were going to beat her, I should have accounted for anyone else who would have jumped in. It's my fault entirely." He beat himself up in order to try even harder in his next fight.

He spoke to Morrigan again, wanting one last word. "Now don't think that was the end. I can't recall someone I enjoy fighting so much, so until next time.." Quint opened his arms, wanting an embrace.

"As opposed to Morrigan, who would actually be naked without hers."

He winked slyly.

"Now, that'd be worth seeing!"

"I'll put it on my 'To Do' list while I'm at it," Gatz said, taking out a slip of paper with various scribblings on it. He started to write it down, then paused in thought.

"Hmm... might as well put Morrigan down on here as well..." He mumbled to himself.

Morrigan's initial frown quickly turned into a smirk of her own. "Ha! Is that so? Well, your presence at the battle worked in my favor, as I knew it would. On top of that, I've already received the help for free, and I have no intention of paying for it now whatsoever." She crossed her arms and tilted her head up in a condescending manner. "So what are you going to do? Make me pay for it? You've just seen half of what I can do to someone, using my power creatively instead of seriously. You are in no position to bargain, little man."
