Lilly watched Ikuto as he went into the den and sighed feeling kind of bad that she made him mad.Strongheart and Foxpelt made it to the human's cabin.Foxpelt visited with them for a bit before deciding to show Strongheart the area he lived while he was away from the pack. He lead her to an old den that he used and showed her inside. There was a small spring that bubbled up from the ground, so there was always fresh water. Foxpelt lapped at the cool water before going to sit by Strongheart.Strongheart nuzzled Foxpelt and then rolled onto her back playfully, her tail wagging a mile a minute.Foxpelt pinned her and licked her cheek. He was happy that they were finally alone and he was planning on being there with Strongheart for a while. Yes, he knew they'd have to go to the den, but right now was 'play time' and he wasn't about to let anything ruin that.

Yuuki wakes up and looks around. She sighs and thinks, I wonder what promise it was that Miki made. I hope it doesn't take her too long to come back...
Ikuto goes over to Yuuki and licks her face.
Yuuki giggles. She sits up, "Weren't you playing with Lilly? I thought she was talking to you when she screamed not to eat her tail."
Ikuto nods, "I was."
Yuuki tilts her head to the side, "Why'd you stop?"
Ikuto laughs slightly, "Does it matter?"
Yuuki sighs, "Well yeah, kind of."
Ikuto looks at Yuuki, "Do you really want to know?"
Yuuki nods.
Ikuto motions for Yuuki to come closer, "Okay, come here..."
Yuuki bends down and levels her head with Ikuto.
Ikuto opens his mouth like he's going to speak, but instead he jumps on Yuuki's head and bites her ear, "I wanted to know what your ears taste like! Omnomnomnomnom!"
Yuuki laughs. She yells jokingly, "Nooo! Not my ear! I need that! It's important! Help! He's gonna take my very important and very good ear!! Help! Help!"
Ikuto laughs, "That's right! This kitty is going to eat your very important and very good ear! Omnomnomnomnom!"
Yuuki and Ikuto continue laughing and yelling jokingly.

Lilly walked over to Yuuki and Ikuto with her tail and ears drooping. She then looked at Ikuto saying, "I'm sorry I called you mean Ikuto... I just love my ears and tail. And I really thought you were going to eat me..." She sat down, lowering her head and giving Ikuto sad puppy eyes, hoping he'd forgive her for calling him mean.

Ikuto and Yuuki stop playing and look at Lilly.
Ikuto says, "You didn't call just me mean."

Lilly looked at Ikuto, remembering that she had said that all cats were mean and she laid down, looking up at him with sad eyes saying, "I'm sorry... I guess I'm still mad at the mountain lion that killed my mama, even though those meany FireClaw wolves made her do it.... I hope you'll accept my apology. You can play eat my tail and ears, just remember that I need them and that you can't really eat them." She then sat up and wondered if Ikuto might play with her again, but she wasn't going to get her hopes up.

Because the lovely little flower is ʄ ɾ ε εsym Down to its root ↘↘ symphonic symphonic wind symphonicand in that freedom boldsymph  Buttercup watches Lilly and Ikuto, sighing contently. She didn't remember the last time she had played like that. She smiled, remembering the way thunderbolt had always teased her.
"Where are you? Why did you leave me?" She had been asking herself those same questions over and over again, but an answer never presented itself. It was as if he just suddenly disappeared in the middle of a conversation.
Buttercup scooted into the darkest corner of her spot, finally giving in to the dark wave of depression. Her vision darkened as she retreated into the dark corner of her soul...
"He is never coming back......he doesn't love you...he is running away from you...."A dark voice invaded her dark thoughts. She tried to ignore the voice, but she couldn't....the words held a sinister truth to them...a sinister truth that voiced her own doubts, her own fears.

Ren wakes up suddenly and looks at Buttercup. She goes over to Buttercup and nudges her, "Stop being depressed, it doesn't suit you."
Ikuto sighs, "I was never going to really eat them. That mountain lion had little time to live anyways and she knew it, she dedicated the remainder of her life to protecting her family. She knew you weren't dead, she saw you breathing, she spared your life even though she knew there was a chance of her family dieing because of it. You should be thanking her." He goes over to Ren and jumps on her head. He looks at Buttercup curiously.

Lilly walks after Ikuto, but stops after walking a bit. "You mean it's my fault Rose and her family were killed?" She asked her tail and ears drooping. The thought of her being the reason Rose and her family being killed made her feel really bad. She wished there was something she could do, but she knew there wasn't.

Ikuto looks at Lilly. He stares at her for a few moments. He shakes his head no, "Rose was going to die anyways, she chose to die that way. I'd imagine it was less painful that way. Her family was already dead, the FireClaw pack used her. It wasn't your fault, but you are lucky that she didn't kill you for her family. She didn't know at that point that her family was already dead."

"I guess you're right Ikuto. I could have been killed by Rose... I still feel bad that she had to die like she did. I know I should've told her before but I forgive her. I can see know that she just wanted her family to be safe from the FireClaws." Lilly said. She then padded over to Sandfur and rolled onto her back.

Ikuto smiles. He looks at Buttercup.
Yuuki gets up and goes over to Lilly. She says sarcastically but in the tone that she would use if she wasn't being sarcastic, "Oh, so I can't play with you now?"

Lilly rolled back over onto her feet and looked at Yuuki saying, "I never said you can't play with me. We can play if you want."

Lilly goes and curls up close to the healer's area and dozes off.Sandfur walked over to his daughter, curled around her and fell asleep.Strongheart and Foxpelt were sleeping in the den that Foxpelt showed Strongheart. The next morning Strongheart woke up and said, "Oh my gosh! We should be back at the den and not here!" She got up and then started walking to the entrance of the small den she and Foxpelt had spent the night in.Foxpelt felt Strongheart wake up and then heard what she said and replied, "We can go. But I wanted to stay here a bit longer. Don't you want to spend some more time alone with me before we go back?"Strongheart looked at him before padding out of the small den and heading back home.Foxpelt followed her. Once they got back to the den they crept passed the other sleeping wolves and foxes to the healer's area and curled up together, hoping no one noticed they had been gone and even if someone had they hoped that no one would ask where they were.
