My morning sickness was worse in the evenings. Go figure. Also, protein made it worse--espeically beef. I CRAVED breads and pastas and veggies. Besides ice cream, they were the only thing that stayed down for the first 4 months.
I think it's so funny how those little bundles of "joy" turn our lives upside down before they've even developed flippers, let alone fingers or toes. rofl
Ugh, I hate the "now is not a good time to be pregnant" speech. I get it every time I mention I want another baby. I don't want a baby NOW, but you know, eventually. But people just JUMP on it--espeically the family and the in-laws. I'm not 20 anymore. burning_eyes

Well, I do understand my mom's reasoning, but we'll be fine either way. My husband may be getting out of the military in May. He may not get offered another contract because his scores are below average. I don't understand how they are below. Especially since he just got rifle expert for the second time. Rifle expert is the highest you can get. *shrugs* It's stupid. With the world going to crap, I don't see how he wouldn't get another contract. But either way, I've already got a plan if we don't get another contract. He can figure out where he's going to work when we move back in with my mom... If we need to...
And I'm actually feeling better today. I hope I dont jinx it, but for the past few days it was hell to even get on my computer. But I'm feeling okay.

My ex can;t re-enlist either and his scores are spot on. it's cause they have too many people, all the services do. You can;t get in anymore unless you are super super lucky, some of his soldiers are stuck getting out too, when they just wanted to re-up. o.0 this is gonna be BAD when it hits, with as little work as there is now, what is going to happen when all our Solders and Hero's come home, O.O what are they gonna DO? and places are more likely to hire ( hopefully) war veterans than some kid off the street, which leaves the rest of us kinda screwed... DAMN YOU ECONOMY!!!!

My daughter cut her own hair this morning. And not a "oh, we can just even this up and it'll look fine" kind of cut. Her bangs are gone, and she has a bald-spot the size of a tangerine on the left side of her head--and ONLY the left side of her head. burning_eyes
I feel horrible about leaving the scissors in her reach--but I can't even remember where I left them! I THOUGHT they were in my art box, safe and sound. My husband thought they were on top of the fish tank. My daughter left them and a pile of her beautiful strawberry-blond hair on the coffee table. crying

hair grows back, and she's still little... sweatdrop I think this is one of those inevitable child-age learning experiences. xd
folks occaissionally misplace things. and while that is no excuse, you have to admit it could have been way worse, and that these things happen. next time maybe just double check?

I've been hearing the exact opposite about the military. I know the AirForce has a waiting list, but I've heard Marines and Army will take you as soon as another boot camp comes about, which is every week for Marines in two different camps. I've been asking him if he has a plan, but he hasn't been thinkiing about it because he wants to be a pilot... So that idea is blinding him. Hell, I don't want to go back to my old job, but if I have to I will. I would love to get a job as a teacher's aide, but I don't know if I can. I'll do anything to get some money. Hell, I would love to work at horse stables mucking the stalls, I'd be so happy to be around horses that I wouldn't care. But he sees "pilot" and doesn't think about a plan B... His grandmother sent him an article about an areonautics (I think I spelled that right) school opening in MD. It pisses me off because he'll listen to his grandma, but he won't listen to me!
Funny side note. We have a CutCo knife, that is sharp as hell. My mom has cut herself on it several times so she gave it to us. I LOVE the knife. MY husband uses that knife to cut the cheese packages open. I ask him EVERYTIME not to use that knife to open the package! There are two pocket knives sitting on the window sill above the sink... So the other night he cuts open a package with the CutCo knife and chops off the top skin of his finger... I was about ready to scream "I told you so", but just settled for "What have I said?" and got him a few bandaids... Then he leaves the bloody napkin on the counter... He never cleans up after himself either, unless I get on him about it. There were 5 Mt.Dew cans sitting on the table last night... *bangs head on table*

Aw! She's adorable!
And she looks like she knows you're upset. Kids are odd like that. They pick up on emotions so quickly.
And yay! I have a dr. appt tomorrow! At 9 am............. But I'll find out if I am pregnant.

crying That's sad... But it will eventually grow back.
I chopped off all my hair in 5th grade and had an afro... Literally... I HATED it. So ever since my hair has never been cut shorter than my shoulder blades.
And another funny little side note. My husband smells so bad when he gets home from work (grease, oil, fumes) and with my enhanced sense of smell, it makes me nauseaus... So today I asked if he could go change, instead he fell asleep on the couch. So I spreayed him with Glade air freshner XD He smells a bit better. I'm gonna kick his butt off the couch and make him take a shower. He usually listens to me when I tell him to take a shower. And if he doesn't, he's getting more air freshner. It's a nice flowery scent too!

Hey Kosi, does your husband have any experience as a pilot?
My whole family has been into airplanes since I was little. I even took flying lessons and was nearly finished with them when I got pregnant. My instructor had a crush on me, and was already mad that i had ran off and eloped, so when he found out I was pregnant, he wouldn't let me finish. It sucks but he was the only instructor in the area at that time. I can pretty much go up whenever I want, so I never went to complete them.
I am more into horses myself, but my dad wouldn't let me near them when I was a kid. Dramatic back-story there. I really did the pilot thing to make dad happy, so I wasn't as heartbroken as I should have been when I learned that if I wanted to get my license, I would have to start over; I was actually happy to have an excuse not to. sweatdrop Disappointed allot of people though, turns out I have a knack for handling a plane, and the men seem to get hard-ons when I make sweet landings in a direct crosswind. rolleyes
Anyway, the point of my ramble is that your husband would have a better chance at getting all the cockpit-time he wanted as an instructor or a charter pilot. He would get paid a hell of allot better as well. If he has logged hours flying a plane in the military, then he probably has the hour requirement already, and he would just have to be signed off, and do any other hours he needs to get a commercial rate.
I myself have thought about volunteering at a stable not far from me for the opportunity to learn how to care for a horse. I have the room for one, and I have always wanted one, and I have to start somewhere.
