Musica looked over at Arielle and knelt down beside her, letting her feed off his aura briefly. He couldn't keep it up, maybe for about five minutes. "He obtained the gift of the God's, an invincible armor that make one super strong and super resilient. He's stronger now than most of us combined. Even the God's of Olympus included." He made a pained expression, the magic draining from him quickly. "Hurry someone! Take this woman to the lake immediately, or we're all doomed!" He spoke, clutching his stomach.

Meanwhile, Evermore was simply sitting in the room in the other dimension, reading through a very fascinating book about the history of Bai Ching. She never thought she would have found history interesting, but this was fascinating! She loved learning about her beloved school, and she even learned about different secret passages that she would just HAVE to try out later!
She figured that a history book would be the best place to start to discover anything about the lake and/or the Relic at its depths.
She was completely oblivious to anything happening back at Bai Ching.

Arielle felt ashamed of herself. She looked like such a fool, lying here on the ground! But she was eternally thankful to all who were attempting to help her--even Musica. They were lightening her burden, if only temporarily. Arielle only wished that magic like this could be more permanent and less... reliant upon the energies of the living. But magic like that was more ancient than even the magic she'd summoned for the barrier.

Nikolaus looked on unamused as he saw his soldiers starting to slack. He didn't care why, he only cared to gt them moving again. He brought out his whips and began whipping those close to him, pushing them forward. Then the voice of a spirit began ticking him off. Destroy him? Really now? "I admire your enthusiasm, little spirit, but I don't admire your tone. Besides, this barrier blocks you as well." He smiled, lashing his whip boosted with a magical charge at the fairy, being blocked right before it touched it. That hit would be noticed the most by the source of power.

Aphrodite turned to Nessa. "Vanessa! Take the Headmistress to the lake... use my magic... Hades wanted you to learn," she grunted, fighting with the barrier. She placed a palm on Nessa's brow, and a pink light flared before dying away. "Now," she began, "Concentrate upon where you want to go. Concentrate hard! Go!" she ordered.

The spirit smirked. "We do not need to pass through the barrier to defeat you. If this barrier holds, then there is no need for us to attack you. If the barrier falls, then we can move forward and destroy you. It is as simple as that."

Nessa felt better after Aphrodite gave her some of her powers... but she needed her to teleport now?! Well, better now than never. "Right!" she said, gathering the Headmistress into a more firm hold. Nessa concentrated on the lake, which she had only had glimpses of. She imagined the cool water swirling around her waist...
She prayed to the Gods on Olympus this worked. She thought she could feel a little wetness around her bare feet...

Ares suddenly sat up ramrod straight in his bed. Not a second later, he was standing up and almost running to his balcony. He stared hard for a moment out to virtually open air before... yes. Actually, no. Yes because it confirmed his suspicions; no because this was not good.
Bai Ching was being attacked.
Ares, God of War as he was, didn't think before heading out. He simply summoned his battle armor and immediately transported himself to be behind who seemed to be the commander of this army. He was pissed.

"Musica, are you alright?" Ari asked, kneeling by him. "There has to be something we can do... anything besides running. We need to keep the school, if Evermore's right about the Relic..." she shook her head. "Is there anything I can do for you?" she asked, referring to his depleted state.

Arielle felt nice, cool water surround her suddenly. It felt very good, and she began to relax, despite the constant hammering of people--of demons--against her shield. She almost felt as if she could ignore it here, amidst the peace.

Nikolaus smiled, letting the creatures of the forest think what they wanted. Not only was Nikolaus powered, but his entire regiment had the blessing of Odin and Thor, very powerful Gods in Asgard. The creatures continued to press forward as Nikolaus turned around to see the form of the Grecian War God behind him. Nikolaus merely continued smiling. "Well well, what do we have here? A sneak attack I presume?" The Demigod was smiling wildly, very confident in himself. With the gift of Asgard, he was more powerful than this Grecian. More powerful than two Area in fact."

Musica actually barked out a small laugh. "He's not going to take this school, there's nothing here he wants I don't think. If he knew I would too. All he wants his to find a path to Olympus, and that's about it." Musica was calming down, though he still felt weak. The bleeding on his head had ceased, for now at least.

Ares laughed sarcastically. "Obviously." His tone was dripping. "Didn't work out too well, though. You weren't supposed to notice." He sighed and rubbed a hand behind his head. Then he put his helmet on. "Ah well. Might as well go in headfisrt."
He knew that Nikolaus was technically super-powered right now, but Ares also knew that War was his domain. No matter what Nikolaus had on his side, so long as this battle was considered part of a larger struggle (and he knew it to be), then this resided as part of Ares' domain. This gave him some leeway. He could... influence things. He gave himself a blessing, in essence, by giving the school of Bai Ching his blessing in this war. He fought for Bai Ching at the moment.
The barrier was now fortified by just that much due to Ares' Blessing.
Nikolaus may be stronger, but Ares held many more advantages.

Ever was now reading about some type of archer. She hadn't founded the school and she hadn't attended it, so why was this history book covering a random archer in the first place? It didn't even give her name! It was just talking about a random female archer.

Ari could feel Nikolaus’ insanity pulling at the corners of her mind. It was hard to fight… and it would be so easy to give in. Give into the madness. No! She couldn’t. She had Musica who seemed to be at his last nerve, and other people who had bothered to bring her back. That would be a waste. ”Alright, fine,” she snapped, slightly nauseated by his weakness. This wasn’t the man she had died for.
