RIG list, anyone?Also You come across an airship with ominous vampire markings. You know your small crew can't possibly take them on in a straight-on fight. -Attempt to reason with them -Sneak past and continue on the trail It is RIGHT before the Demogod thing. What do?

Sneak past. I've never attempted to reason with them, but sneaking past makes nothing happen. Which is probably better than getting eaten.

EDIT: Three times. Diedrich, wtf? You're supposed to be lucky! It's okay. I had max food 27 bullets and I was past the vampire ship that is right at the demigod and carl killed my last crewmember even though I didn't shoot any elk. What a d**k. I'm never picking Carl. D< He was easy That is because you are a lucky a*****e. He keeps eating my bullets and randokilling my crew.
