"Well the town was pretty quiet. Most action we ever had was the softball league and whenever someone decided they had a five finger discount."
He said starting to explain to her. "Nah a town on the edge of the woods is nothing to be excited about, and home is no better. If anything it was more stressful. The main reason I left was to get away from my mom's boyfriend."

Yes they are upstairs. If you need anything I'll be upstairs as well but I'll be with Triv. Ariana thought to Alex with a smile on her face. She got up and walked up the stairs to Triv's room and waited.

As Selena ran off, Lucian didn't follow. He had made up his mind. He wouldn't lead her on. Again he found himself wishing Naomi was here. He wanted to hold her again. He took off through the forest once more, to that familiar lake. The one he sat by many times before. It was like history repeating. Maybe it would trigger a memory from the night of the masquerade. He propped himself against the base of a tree and stared across the lake with the moon reflect off the water. It was gorgeous. He had noticed that the first time he was here. He wished Naomi could see it...

Alex blinked, a bit confused when he heard her voice. He looked at her trying to understand. She was talking but her lips weren't moving. "Um... Sure okay." He said slowly as he watched her head upstairs. A few minutes later he followed, determined on finding himself a room.

He took his new son as he came to see what was the matter. He looked at both the wolves. "Rorie. Qu'est-ce que tu fais? Nous sommes en sécurité ici, montrent des manières.... Please forgive my friend, he is very protective."
Rorie stopped his growling and backed up a bit further, laying down at the woman's feet but not taking his eyes off the female wolf.
"Ma petite what is going on here?" Remy asked.
(Translation:Rorie. What are you doing? We are safe here, show some manners.)

she stood again and took Blink back in to her arms "Blink, this is daddy" she smiled and kissed her son's cheek "daddy can be as protective as Rorie some times"
