Lily was already in bed when the boy came to her room. Like the night before, she held him protectively as they both slept, expression calm.
"I don't know where she is, no." Cerri murmured, gently stroking his ears. "How about I fix your stitches, then help you find her?" she suggested, sending an apologetic smile to Ajinaru.

I hope Arlen'll be okay.
She grabbed her small bag and chocolate milk from the fireside where she had left them, and approached the hook with the keys. Choosing one at random, she glanced back at the injured man and the kind woman.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" she called, desperately wanting to pay back the woman's kindness.

He nodded slowly not knowing where she wanted him to go or what she wanted him to do. "T-toto-san usualy uses threads..from her arm." He said quietly blinking up at her, "What are you going to use?" He asked quietly looking at the girl with a soft expression before rubbing his eye, trying to stop the tears.

"Thank you, sweetie." Cerri called to the girl, smiling at her. "But... I think this is a grown-up thing. I know how to stitch him back up... but thanks anyway." Her attention turned back to Kaden, and she gently led him to one of the couches. "Sit here, and I'll get the first aid kit. There's thread in there that I can use, alright?" Without waiting for an answer, she hurried behind the bar, chewing on her lower lip.

He nodded, not arguing he learned it was bad when the person seemed to know what they where doing. "Al-alright.." He said softly looking down it was foolish really- but he didn't mean to do this. "You don't think she'll be mad?" Kaden asked softly looking back at her, bending his fingers the drying blood cracking on them. He sat very still nervous that this would hurt more then when River did it- She was so caring gentle would she be the same? He didn't want her to hurt him. Figetting softly he remaind silent after his question.

Ajinaru nodded, called a soft 'goodnight', and headed up the stairs. She hadn't expected an affirmative, but thought asking was the best thing to do.
On her way up, she took a sip of the milk, and her eyes went wide. This....
Is the best chocolate milk I've ever tasted!

"No, I don't think so. Sometimes stitches tear... it's not your fault." Cerri told the boy soothingly on returning, kneeling before him, materials gathered to sew the wound again. "Now, just stay still, alright?" she murmured, casting a small spell over that side of his face to numb the pain; he would feel some pressure, but that was all. Her spells were as good as medicine any day, she thought wryly as she started to pull out the ripped stitches and replaced them with her own.

Kaden didn't nod just sat very- very still waiting. Not feeling it was a suprise he didn't understand why he couldn't feel his face but didn't speak that would be moving. Fiddling his hands though he couldn't help kneeding his shirt at the hem. "..mmer..." He wanted to flinch it was too weird not feeling anything.

"Just a moment longer." Cerri murmured softly, finishing up the last stitch." Then she smiled and pulled away, reaching for the damp cloth she'd brought to clean up some of the mess as best she could, breaking her spell as she did. "Sorry about that... I just didn't want it to hurt." she told the boy softly, having seen his discomfort. "But it's over now..."

He was tempted to mumble but didn't knowing how much that annoyed some people. " I- It's okay, Toto-san doesn't numb it so.." He blinked his one blue eye it was clearing up a bit as he scanned her face. " Thank you very much, Obasan." He looked down biting his lip softly, fiddling more. "..You said you'd help me look for Toto.." He murmured looking back up at her with a small weak smile. The feeling in his face made him feel better, the numbness made him feel like his face was half dead like a half masticated cow or something.

"I did say that didn't I?" Cerri murmured, then stood and offered him her hand. "Come on, Kaden. Let's got find your Toto." she nodded, smiling warmly, waiting for him to stand as well. "We'll check her room again first, just in case..."

"Fiddlesticks." Cerri announced firmly, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "You're hurt and scared, and you want River, so we'll find her, if that's what you want." she smiled at him kindly, single eye full of warmth and sympathy. "So, we'll check her room first, and then the room, alright?"

He stared at her with intensity before nodding slowly looking at the floor starting to slowly walk towards the stairs. "I didn't see her in there.." He murmured that being a little pathedic conidering the room was pitch black. "..M-maybe she is there.." He tried to cheer himself up it wasn't working but he smiled anyway her help was lovely. "I-I'm Kaden but Obasan who are you?" He looked up he knew her River told him her name but he didn't retaine it like he didn't retain Onna's.
