To be able to do that while using ice...which melts...would pose quite a challenge. ...Darn. He knows I can't resist challenges.

"Alright. Assume you create an Ice Dagger and Augment the Element Fire onto it. Normally, fire or any form of heat would melt this dagger. But an augmented element is only evident apart from the actual weapon. If your dagger cut someone, the gash would be searing hot."
Seph smiled. "Now, to do this you need to know how to substitute an element behind another. Go ahead and make your Ice Dagger."

Nyl held out her right hand, and an ice dagger formed in her palm. She closed her hand around it.

Seph held his index finger out and ran it down the flat of the blade. It burst red, then slowly returned to it's icey color. He nodded. "Now, when you want to augment an element, you have to take the main element and put a small hold in it. Not large enough to effect the chakra or anything, but store it deep down and give it a way out. You've got to put a hole in the structure of the chakra."

She nodded, and focused her attention on the ice dagger. Instead of the blade turning a soft fiery color, it melted completely and started to boil and steam. Nyl dropped the hot water with a yelp, shaking her hand like she could get rid of the burning that way.

"Yes, sometime when it doesn't feel like my hand is still on fire, hm?" Slightly irritated, she made a new ice dagger in her left hand and tried again. This time, the edge started to drip, melting to a dull, rounded side.

Seph rubbed his head. Maybe he should've stuck with the body temperature technique. "Much better. Still a bit much, though. This time, try putting in too little. Once you decide on how much Ho Chakra to weave into the Ice, half it and put -that- much in."

She resharpened the dagger and focused again. This time, there was the tiniest hint of red glow to the dagger's edge. She hoped that was good enough because her other hand was becoming a serious distraction.

Seph took her injured hand in his own and looked at the palm. Scalded. He flicked her palm absent-mindedly and squinted at it. That would dull the pain, but she'd still feel it. That was the best he could do with a scald. A burn, he could fix that easily, but scalding wasn't really so much a burn as it was a really bad rash. And he had a feeling she wouldn't let him use Ijutsu on her without permission.
"Very good!" He said, nodding.
Impressive.. had to expect it, though, it -is- Nyl.

A little girl, around the age of three ran out of the hall past Zyphier acting like a plane with her arms outstretched as she circled around things. Where the father was was unknown. (( Gotta have some scene without him!! XD ))
