A girl crept around the edge of the front door, looking inside warily. She had heard angry voices, and was a little worried that she may not be welcome. "The Demented Muffin," as the sign outside called it, did look like an inn, and a nice one at that, but as Ajinaru Kotokano stepped inside, she did not feel welcome.

Tomo walked downstairs in a pair of silky blue pajama pants with little stars over them and a loose white wife beater. He yawned as he walked slowly to the bar, "Hello, everyone." He greeted tiredly. "Anyone need anything?"

Rhiannon followed in a pink nightdress, clinging to his tail like a favored stuffed animal. He had tears along her cheeks as if she'd just woken up from a terrible nightmare.

"Hello Tomo... you look tired." Cerri commented with a small smile. "How about I make you some tea, hm?" Then she looked to the girl, smile going a bit warmer. "Hello... can I get you anything, or you Arlen?"

"Hi Mister Tomo," Arlen said waving to the man and looking curiously at Rhi. "Could I have some chocolate milk?" he asked Cerri.

Tomo shook his head, "Tea will keep me up all night, but thank you." He said as he reached into the cabinet for a glass. He smiled back at his fiancee and turned around. "She had a bad dream." He explained, bending down to kiss Rhiannon's forehead. He turned and kissed Cass's lips. He looked to the newcomer, "Of course there's a room!" He said happily on his way to the fridge.

Rhiannon let go of Tomo's tail and clung to her stepmother-to-be. She sniffed sharply as she buried her face in the woman's shoulder. She didn't seem in the mood to talk about it.

Too say the least, Cass was still embarassed by Tomokazu's kisses, but, they still made her smile. Turning back to Rhi, now in her chest, she frowned. Arms tightly encasing the girl, her face nuzzled into the little one's shoulder. "Come, let us go think about princess like things. They are the best to think about when you cannot bear to go back to sleep." Cooed Cass, voice like honey, comforting and warm, as she scooped Rhi up, and smiled weakly. "Can we go back to bed?"

Tomo came back to his daughter in a flash with a small glass of apple juice. The cup was quite cute, actually. It was purple and sparkly and written on a piece of old masking tape that looked like it had been washed a few times was 'Bad Dream Potion'. He knelt down and handed the cup to his daughter. "Here we are. Now, ready for sleep?" He asked, echoing Cass's words a bit. "I think she'll be all right." He assured Arlen.


Rhiannon looked from Cass to Tomo and nodded with a small smile. She did as Cass suggested and thought about her dolls and Angel, who she played with often, and the imaginary world she made for her toys. It seemed to help as long as she didn't close her eyes. She sipped the juice slowly and rubbed the tears from her eyes.
