, which actually had me kinda bummed at first, but... I guess it's incentive for me to play again, eh? biggrin Also, about the one for Tear, are you talking about the

? If so, I believe it's actually POSSIBLE to get it in the first playthrough, just most people miss it. (I know I did. crying )
Wait wait wait... Am I the only one that thinks this kinda looks like a version of Jade if he came from Baticul instead of Malkuth? (Sorry, I know, random thought is random, but I happened to spot this as I was going through my inventory.)

There's a costume where Tear wears cat ears and a cat tail that you could get from defeating these three monsters.

Also working towards getting everything for a first-run Nebilim fight on Hard. Any advice, peeps?
You have much grinding to do, grasshopper. I had a hard time on 2x EXP. Of course, I try to minimize grinding if I can help it... Not to mention the fact that it sounds like you do quite a bit.
Ah, this brings back memories of that one time when I fought tons of battles in Tales of Symphonia because I didn't know that my spent Grade carried over between playthroughs...
Also, I find the "Evil Fonist?" costume interesting. My sister was amused by his having a braid in that outfit.
I've done all the sidequests in Dawn. XD Though I haven't gotten all the monsters yet.
And I'm still trying to do the ones in Graces, though most of it are Inn Requests.

Yes, I generally do a LOT of grinding... Call it a compulsion to get all the Artes good and ready or something... sweatdrop I actually went ahead and fought Nebilim on Normal... and got my butt handed to me about 3 times, haha. (Heck, I even took the precaution of making sure all my gels [outside of lottery and special] were at 16, as well as life bottles and Specifics!) eek The funny part about that, though, is that I actually had more trouble with the Van fight on Hard, later (generally, it was just that I'd be caught on a stupid mistake of mine. razz ).
I'm being a dare devil this run and running with Very Hard and Unknown as my dominant two difficulties (I don't want to use Hard unless I have to) without raising my hp and tp, the rate I gain overlimit, the number of onhand items, or any boosts to exp. [I'm not a complete doofus. I did keep all my artes and uses, titles, gald, C. Cores, and A.D. skills.] What do you think? biggrin...How doomed am I? sweatdrop I LIVE for challenge! twisted
I'm all about just having fun and enjoying the story and characters, myself. I've never really been a 100% completion sort of guy.
I always enjoy the story, really! I do the sidequests for further story expansion and self-satisfaction (of the fact that I found them in the first place, haha... xd *shot*). That's why they're my bread and butter. biggrin The 100% completion factor started as more of a competitive thing between my brother and I and kinda just stuck. sweatdrop

Hey, that's okay. I'm not trying to criticize you. I do sidequests as well for the same sort of reason.
Also, due to my breezing through Final Fantasy IV and my Dragon Quest VIII disc being faulty, I am now playing Eternal Sonata. It's pretty dang good, just as you guys said. Heh, angel goats. I really want to be able to walk around as Chopin, though! He's pretty much my favorite so far.
