So it was a vampire that stood before him, an assassin no doubt. By the way he stood and sneaked, it was obvious to an assassin. Red eyes and similar black garment, all this and more was observed by the man with the sniper in a matter of instants. But as he stared at the vampire he heard the very distinct sound of someone using the fire escape. He heard the person climbing from the first step all the way to the last, but his eyes remained glued onto the vampire.
It seemed to be a human which appeared beside the vampire, a human with a giant axe on her back. How curious that a human would fraternize with a vampire. At first glance she appeared to be a hunter, but why would she be more or less friendly to a vampire. She was either a mercenary, a slave, a lover or a spy.
Then the vampire showed movement, it was only slightly. But then he addressed the man. He remained silent and alert as the vampire spoke. The vampire was not attacking him nor the human, what kind of vampire was this? Was the situation with the humans so bad that the species decided to call a cease-fire? The man was now bursting with questions, but he was not one to open up so quickly.
"Aiden" He whispered, with his eyes still narrowed. If he stayed too long, then his prey would run away and he would have to hunt the pack of humans elsewhere. He hesitated on his next action, pondering whether to flee and find his prey or to stay and find out what is happening.

Wolf snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the obvious sounds of a quiet commotion. He watched with his periferals, as turning his head would be like shouting 'Hey you people over there, I see you!'. Wolf acted as if he was still a 12-year-old lost in thought, as odd as it may be. He wasn't normal, but he still had common sense. Wolf realized the only other known lycan was Prime, who was next to him, so he decided to stay in his place and watch the confrontation from a distance. It was a few rooftops away, so Wolf had good distance. Lucky for him.

Veroen stared at the man before him. the man and himself seemed to have quite a bit in common, judging by his actions, hesitant movemtns, as if the man thought out every action, like an...assassin. Veroen knew the ways of an assassin, more than your average contract killer. Veroen silently watched the man's lips move, and he spoke. Veroen instantly guessed the man spoke his own name.
"Aiden, huh." Veroen said, before speaking his own name.
"Veroen." He added. this was a type of conversation he had not had in quite some time...it was similar to the types of conversations he had long ago, with his old Assassin clan. Assassin's were not much for conversations. Veroens own attitude had been someone affect and influenced by this city, but he still kept to his old ways whenever he could. He was understanding of Aiden, he knew his ways as well. Veroen let go of his holstered gun, now sensing that aiden and him had a somewhat unspoken understanding of each other. He easily noticed that Aiden had some targets he was about to pick off, no doubt with the .50 Cal Sniper rifle that he had set up. Veroen silently waited for the man to choose his next action.

Aiden kept his eyes glued on the vampire, but he saw the woman beside him move back a bit and reach for her weapon, even if just to have her hand near. Then he heard the vampire's name. So this man was also of few words, usually to the point. It seemed that the creatures of this city seemed to be a breed of their own. Fraternizing amongst each other, moving out in the open, and having an all out hunt against every immortal. It was definitively a scenario worth observing.
"Interesting scenario" The man whispered again as a small grin crept onto his lips. The grip on his rifle now loosened, but he still remained vigilant. Aiden took a step forward, towards the pair. After he moved forward, he swung his weapon in front of him. He quickly caught the rifle with his free hand, now holding it on both arms and aimed away from the pair.
While holding the weapon, Aiden quickly reattached the removable carrying handle and removed the small detachable bipod stand. He moved the small bipod into the pocket of his coat.

Veroen grinned at the corner of his mouth, now standing without a stance, after he saw the non-violent movements of Aiden. He began silently walking toward the other, then stopped a few feet away from Aiden.
"Interesting is an understatement." Veroen said smoothly, his hand now outstretched, offering a potential handshake. He could now smell the man, his scent revealing that he was a Lycan. Veroen, however, did not really care that the man was a breed that he was once dedicated to killing. The thing that Veroen thought was interesting about Aiden, was that he was much like Veroen. The understanding between him and the Lycan was odd to Veroen, yet intriguing.

Aiden's honey colored eyes saw Veroen move closer to him, and then outstretch his hand in a civilized gesture, an official greeting. The lycanthrope was still not completely convinced of the peace between the races, not that he held anything against anyone of them. Aiden had a simple philosophy when it came to other races, he did not care about races unless they were trying to kill him or they had a hit on their head.
So then Aiden moved the remaining distance to close in on Veroen. He shifted the rifle onto his left hand, holding it with the small handle, and he stretched his hand to meet the vampire's. Aiden took a firm grip of the man's hand and shook it firmly. A moment later he took back his hand and moved a few steps back. The assassin knew that he had wasted enough time, the contract is still within a comfortable margin.
"Until we meet again." He whispered again and took another stop back. But he did not complete the step, instead he used the leg to propel himself back into a leap of faith into the street. The free fall lasted for about twenty seconds before he flipped in the and his feet scraped against the side of the building. When he felt the stone of the building, he pushed hard against it. That fired the lycanthrope towards the opposite building, luckily there was a window open before his line of fire. So Aiden shot into the open window and vanished through the darkness of the room.

Veroen silently watched as Aiden took a step back, but noticed that he was not just stepping back. A second later Aiden jumped away, off of the building. veroen did not linger. As soon as the Lycan jumped away, Veroen turned on his heels, and made his way back to Meredith. He stopped a few feet away from her. he simply looked at her, waiting for her to say something else.

Eden was the odd one out as usual. She wasn't a vampire or lycan and she'd never been an assassin, just a simple hunter or fighter. As opposed to using strategy and skill she mostly relied on her brute strength to get her through things as well as the occasional tool or weapon. She was more of an in the moment person, an opportunity to take someone out from afar had yet to present itself to her but she didn't doubt that she had the potential to be a good shot, she wasn't too bad with firearms. However, she doubted that being an assassin would really appeal to her because while it would keep her food on the table she wasn't sure she'd be able to just kill someone she was told to kill.
"You're pretty crazy. Approaching some crazy lycan with a sniper rifle that's as big as I am in his hand ... Is this what you do in your spare time? Potentially aggrivate lycans so that they shoot you with their obnoxiously large rifles?"

Veroen did not say anything for a moment after Meredith spoke to him, unnaproving of the encounter.
"We understood each other. Assassin to Assassin, regardless of race. No need to get all excited about it..." Veroen said, expressionless.

"If I was excited about it I'd be jumping all over the place and would probably be a lot louder and more obnoxious. Anyhow, I guess I'll piss off since it seems that now you've found your assassin buddy the little human has lost her appeal. I'll let you go off and be a cool assassin, wouldn't want the loud, obnoxious hunter cramping your style." She put her hands up in the air in some form of surrender and began walking away since Veroen didn't seem interested anymore. Maybe it was his revenge to her for being a jerk but something told her it was due to the appearance of the other assassin and upholding his little assassin demenor.
'Another one bites the dust! Ow!'
She made her way back over to the fire escape and began the long walk down, her boots clanging against each metal step as she did so since she clearly wasn't making an effort to be quiet. Eden had decided she was hungry and that she was going to go get something to eat, that was her focus. She wasn't going to focus on being quiet when her stomach was probably going to rumble louder than an eruption anyhow.

Veroen smirked as she blew up on him. it was a little comical actually.
He watched silently as she began her decent down the fire escape. He shook his head in amusement.
He then walked towards the edge, where the fire escape was. He then leaned over, smiled at the corner of his mouth, and jumped to the bottom in the blink of an eye, and stood below the fire escape, looking up at meredith. "Aww, don't be like that Meredith.." Veroen said, now slightly making a pouting face, yet doing it a little playfully, now showing human characteristics.

Eden didn't know what it was, relief, the fact that the vampire looked really ridiculous or something else entirely but his pouting face managed to put a smile on her own. She began giggling and took a false swipe at him. "Oh come off it, I'm always like this." She stuck her tongue out at him and then gave him an unexpected shove backwards to distract him and jumped over the railing of the fire escape and began running away. It was a playful shove and a playful run, not meant to harm.

Veroen, being a Vampire, normally wouldn't have been affected by a shove given by a human. But Veroen decided to make it seem like it did, so he stumbled backward, making it look like she acually had been strong enough to push the Vampire. He then grinned as she began to run away.
In a second he was already in front of her.
"Trying to run from a vampire huh." veroen said with a smile.
"A futile action" Veroen added with a grin.

Though she'd known that she likely wasn't able to make Veroen budge she'd decided that she needed to have a little fun and she was glad that he'd recognized that or that he'd at least played along with her. As expected he recovered from his false fall and he was in front of her and though prepared for exactly that, Eden smashed into his solid form and actually managed to sink a tooth through her lip.
"One could say," she responded with a bloody smile though she didn't seem to care all that much, "that yes. "
"So from emotionless to playful in minutes, hm? You some bipolar freak or are you just really good at acting since being an assassin means you get close to people and get to know them before you take them out?" There was the hint of her bloody smile in that statement but at the same time it was a legitimate question that she was hoping to have answered. The paranoia of being a hunter never really left her, she was plagued with it.

Veroen was taken by surprise when she smashed into him. He, of course, did not budge. but the result from it left her with a bloody lip. Veroen nervously smiled at her.
"I just have two sides to my personality..." Veroen said, taking a step back. His eyes glued themselves to her lip. He had once again, forgotten that he still hadn't fed. The amount of time it had been since he had fed was a very long time. His mouth began to water. He took another step back, now with a slightly serious look on his face, fighting his Vampiric urges. The aroma of her blood surrounded him, and it began to drive him insane inside of his mind.
