Veroen watched, more intently now, seeing Nicholas enter the area, as well as conversation. His eyes narrowed, focusing on the three, watching their every move, guessing their next action before they even made it, just by observing their movements. He waited, silently, for something out of the ordinary to hppen, now that the Vampire named nicholas had entered the argument.

Eden turned around and looked across the street to see the vampire that she'd helped up the other day sitting in a card board box. "Aren't you that shrimp of a vampire that loves yelling at kids on rooftops that's hilariously and obnoxiously loud? And my point exactly, thank you, rich men aren't necessarily quality men and hobos aren't necessarily douche bags. As for the card board box thing, been there done that and it's not fun, especially when you're human and susceptible to weather changes."

"Yeah, that's me" Cracking open a can of Special Brew and sipping from it slightly, yawning loudly. "And thank you for that Hobo's aren't douchebags part, if only my mother were like you." He sniggered slightly at the susceptible to weather changes bit. "I'm from the England, ma'am, a New York winter is a London summer, plus I'm kind of a walking corpse, so that teensy-weensy factor generally covers temperature problems. I'm an innovator, the first Vampire tramp, all of the other vampires are either highly trained medieval killing machines with katanas, or broody emo kids who go around in black capes. I'm unique." He finished his special brew and threw it behind him, taking out a menthol and lighting it up in his cupped hands. "Now, who wants to tell me who Captain Wow is over here" He said, indicating Ceon, "And why he is bringing stereotypical class profiling into the discussion of whether or not he'll raise your baby?"

"Golly! Maybe I stand a chance at being a mother after all if someone wishes I was their mother. As for the class profiling I don't know but I've been dead broke a good portion of my life so I'd be considered a peasant. I didn't finish high school and I've never had a real job. I've just always been good at kicking people's a**es so." Her statement was clearly dry and sarcastic as she rolled her eyes afterwards and laughed.
"Innovative indeed ... And I moved to New York, I haven't lived here my entire life. I come from a colder place than that, honey. And yeah, sign me up for the emo part because all I do nowadays is whine about how horrible my life is and how it sucks to be me! It sucks to be me, it sucks to be me, it sucks to be broke and unemployed and turning thirty three, it sucks to be me."

Ceon became uneasy as Meredith continued to question him as a good person, "Well....if you want to go, you'll know where to find me." Ceon turned in a semi circle and walked back towards his apartment. He was going to make dinner, and even if Meredith didn't show, at least he'd eat well tonight. (exit)

"That's a tale of Jerry Springer proportions, "So My Daddy Is A Hybrid Of Wolf And Man"" He smirked, inhaling on the menthol, the iciness rushing down his sinuses. "Try being me for a day, m'dear. I used to be a man who had to organize his own surprise birthday parties, that one sweaty little greasy manager with the clip-on tie. Then I got bitten by what appeared to be a hybrid of a bat and a Crack-Head." He flicked the cigarette away, and lent against the wall, brushing imaginary dust from his jacket. "Nothing wrong with being a commoner, we have the better parties." He grinned, the bags under his eyes and the waxiness of his skin giving off the image of a man who just doesn't get social interaction, on any level deeper than saying Good Morning in the morning.
"So" He said, looking at Ceon "You got knocked up by Old Yeller after a wild night of debauchery, and now he's trying to make up for it by inviting you to an awkward dinner where the conversation will simply turn to argument, which will turn into, most probably, another wild night of debauchery." He yawned, dusting his collar, "And then at the end of it he wants to be your baby daddy, so you two wild crazy kids can go and emotionally scar the poor little bugger right into therapy?" He snorted, looking away, "And they say romance is dead." Cheesy, he knew, but it pretty much summed up the situation. His snide factor also sort of made him ignore the teensy fact that Ceon admittedly had anger issues and was ready for blood.
He waved at Ceon, "Bye Flash Gordon!"

Meredith cocked an eyebrow as an idea came into her head and while she didn't hear a word of what Nick said, she did begin laughing anyhow. "What do you say," she asked with a mischievous glint in her eye, "to a free dinner? I'm up for grabs, see you around." She waved her gloved hand to him, adjusted her black trench coat and began heading off. What she'd said could have been taken as an invitation and quite frankly it had been, it was Eden's odd way of inviting a stranger over to another stranger's house.

Nicholas stroked his chin thoughtfully, looking back at his cardboard box. IT had the remnants of a banana peel in it, and was starting to smell of onions. He distorted his face in disgust and walked briskly after Meredith, adjusting his beanie cap as he walked.

Veroen chuckled at Nicholas's comment toward Ceon, still watching them from the top of the building across the street from their position. He sighed, the closed his eyes for a moment, deep in thought. He then opened them, a little more relaxed. He then moved towards the edge of the building, and dropped into the darkness of an alley next to it. he then appeared from the alleyway, and towards Meredith and Nicholas.
He silently approached them, stopping about 6 feet away from both of them. He silently nodded respectfully to Nicholas, acknowledging him as a fellow Vampire, which Veroen thought was delightful, considering that he hadn't seen much of his own kind recently.
He then turned to Meredith, waiting for her to say something to him.

It had been a couple of days since the arrival of his cargo boat. Finally reaching the city that never sleeps, the city of immortals, after a short trip from Miami, Florida. His mode of transportation was not as luxurious as those other immortals prefer, but the man did carry some sensitive cargo. Besides, this particular immortal had no taste for the self-indulgence.
After the man's early morning arrival, he dedicated that day and the following to locating an isolated hiding place; a place where he could find peace if he should get into any rough situation. But that time had passed before the sun sat on that very day, and he needed to begin to work.
Now the man's work was not generally for money, at least he didn't charge per head. He was just moving through the city now, trying to find a good vantage point from which to out his prey. And the way in which this man moved through the city was through the roof tops, since he was a lot more comfortable when he was alone in his playground and his light brown hair swayed back with such a smooth flow. But that was not the case now since the man had a black hood covering his beautiful soft curls.
The hood crawled out of a zipped-up black jacket, over the jacket he wore a black leather trench coat that reached down to his ankles. He dreaded to have a coat that dragged on the floor behind him, since that created yet another distraction within him. The outfit that the man wore was not for fashion purposes; he was a firm believer that if he wore it, it must have a purpose. The hoodie and coat he wore were mainly so that his profile could blend with the darkness of night. Aside from the coat, the man wore a black pair of combat boots and a black pair of cargo pants. He also wore a military belt, the belt itself had many small spaces that could be filled with anything- it was more like a utility belt.
The man also had one more thing with him, his weapon. He was carrying, on his olive colored hand, a massive rifle. It was the M107 .50 Caliber Long Range Sniper Rifle, his weapon of choice. The man was carrying his weapon by a small carrying handle on top of the rail. He was specially careful not to swing it, not to draw attention to himself, as he gracefully moved from rooftop to rooftop. He was leaping from edge to edge, with his honey colored eyes kept a firm look at the city that lived below.

Veroen silently watched the two as they went to Ceon's appartment. he thought about following them for a moment. He decided to do so. He began walking in the same direction as the two, but then caught a scent. He turned and looked up towards the rooftops, his assassin eyes catching the movement of a black figure, carrying something that had a long shape to it. His eyes narrowed, taken by slight curiosity. He began walking towrds an dark alleyway, out of human sight. once he got there, he silently jumped from wall to wall, accending the two buildings with the grace of a medieval Japanese ninja.
Once he reached the top, he wasted no time. He began racing from rooftop to rooftop, towards the black figure he caught sight of. He stopped on top of a building that was in the path of the dark figure. He stood there in the middle of that rooftop, staring at the dark figure, now seeing the object the figure was carrying: a long range sniper rifle, possibly a .50 Cal. Veroen eyed the weapon, then looked back to the man hidden by his apparel.

After five consecutive buildings, the man finally found a pleasing sight. It was a building that made corner between two small streets, but the man immediately found a small window of visibility from which he could see the main avenue at afar. The location would be perfect.
So the man quickly moved to the corner, crouching out of sight behind the half wall that surrounded the old rooftop. When he was safely hidden, the man moved the long rifle before him and gently placed it on the ground. Instantly, the man began preparing it to fire. The first thing he did was remove the detachable carrying handle. Then he quickly attached the small bi pod stand, without extending the small spikes at the end of the stand. Then the man reached into the back pocket of his long leather coat, from his back he withdrew a rather large cartridge box. He quickly pushed the cartridge box into the magazine slot, and then he pushed back to bolt to arm the weapon.
The instant after the weapon was ready to fire, he heard the distinct sound of a pair of feet gently landing on concrete. The man acted oblivious for a moment, until the intruder moved to the middle of the rooftop. He waited until the other man's presence was obvious before he reacted, but his hand was firm on the pistol grip in case that he had to shoot. Its true that that particular sniper rifle would be impossible to shoot from the hip by a normal human, but he was far from normal or from human.
So the man slowly stood up and turned to face the newcomer. His honey hues quickly moving from the ground to meet the other man's eyes. He narrowed his eyes slightly and waited for the other to make the first move, while his weapon remained at his side pointing to the ground.

Eden had just ditched Ceon's apartment in search of a meal when her hazel eyes caught a blur move across the top of a building. Why she'd been looking up into the rooftops she would never know but what she'd seen had been legitimate and she wasn't going to let it go without investigation. She backed up a fair ways and climbed a fire escape to discover that Veroen was the figure she'd caught sight of and he was having some sort of stand off stare down with some guy in a hood on another roof top.
She slow approached Veroen from behind though it was silent by any means as her boots thunked against the rooftop and she came to stand beside him. "What are you doing up here? Chasing some guy with a huge a** sniper rifle for some reason unbeknownst to me? That's what it looks like to me now the question is why."

Veroen gripped his holstered pistol, observing the smooth, precise movements of this figure. He was not human by any means, that much was obvious. Veroen silently stood there. He then heard Meredith's voice behind him. he did not turn toward her, nor did he take his eye off the mysterious hooded being before him.
Veroen did not reply in words to Meredith, but simply rose his index finger, back toward her, as if to tell her, 'one moment'.
Veroen then said to the dark figure, "No need to cause any violence. You just simply caught my attention, and curiosity got the best of me. State your name, if you are a friend." he finished his sentence, still turned to the man.

Eden simply stood off to the side and slightly behind Veroen. She rolled her hazel eyes when his index finger rose to tell her to 'be quiet' and 'wait a moment' and she adjusted her violet aviators as she waited. Like Veroen, her eyes never left the figure that seemed slightly unstable, not in movements but the way he held his gun suggested he was contemplating shooting them. Personally she didn't want to be shot at point blank range by a huge a** sniper rifle so she decided to keep her mouth shut and watch things play out, however, her hand lingered near her gun holster.
