River sat in the darkness of downstairs mulling over many thoughts, playing with a lighter, flicking it on-off, on-off. It light her face up and as she flicked it on once more she leaned forward and lit A Cigarette for the person sitting ahead of her, Black eyes glazing over as the creature took a drag of smoke and never brew it back out. "It's like that movie.." River murmured to the dark blurr, who's eyes resembled River's Mirror. "Hell wants me, Heaven wont take me though I'm quite sure earth doesn't need me at all." River smirked knowingly at the male like creature that sat in front of her mearly tilted his head. Demonic only in the form of bliss is it allowed from River's Mirror only at three is it allowed to Live for a hour. 'You know well I dont take kindly to sarcasm my child' Its voice was deep; had almost no consistancy like a humans voice though you could hear the faulter to make a sound like one human would. "I know you don't take Sarcasm easily, which is why I never took kindly to you in the first place you peice of furniture." Blinking River's onyx eyes scanned the pale blueish colored face that flickered in the light of River's lighter. "I only know so much about Angels and Demons; and you know this, my shadow so why do you insist on telling me about Hell?" River blinked the entity before he was not Evil no he would not be allowed to form in the muffin if he was. He was a from of the Demonic Mirror in River's room just formed nicly into a human shape, hair that spiked in every which direction he looked young;River knew better. 'Hmm, I don't tell you to try and convince you that Hell is a good place, it's for knowlage.' He, not it took another drag of the cigarette and again no smoke came from his mouth.
"Hells rat are we?" River blinked at him a smile curling on her lips. 'No, I am not Demonic I went over this with you. No Evil flows freely in my veins.' River scoffed, "Demonic would be the word for it hate to break it to you ya Mirror." River shifted in the darkness looking him over as the light shined off his glossy black eyes. It was creepy talking to A peice of furniture was freeky in it'self. "You know, You would think I would of forested more children by now but those two are my first." River sighed softly looking the thing over once as he set the Cigarette down to watch smoke trickle off the burning end of it. 'The Kaden one is very touchy. I'd keep the bloody fool away from the sane one. Then again I like to watch them sexualy assult each other in front of me. It's quite amusing when it becomes a fight then finally they both just pass out. You realize that is going to be awkward when they grow?' The deep voice was dishurtaling you would think that this things voice would sound shallower, but it was just above polite."Right..I'll keep out for that, you are the Eyes behind my head of course. " River grumbled, "Bloody b*****d." She smirked as he flickered away the Cigarette going with him.

Daniel came down the stairs at a slow pace, already dressed in his button-up shirt and slacks. His eyes did not make their usual scan around the room, as he brushed back his silken brown hair. Shuffling over to the bar, Daniel coul dnot help but think of how odd he looked doing this. A 6'4" man with small posture, and head down? Just odd. Skipping the coffee, and the tea too, he made his way to the alcohol, and poured a glass of butternut rum and let his hand slide around the outside of the glass. AFter a few moments, his magic passing through it and causing it to steam. It was warm, now. Satisfied with the product, he headed around the bar again, and took a seat upon a stool, and watched the drink swirl around in its container.

((No. I'm late, but I'm here.)) Maara burst out of Trina's room, her shoes tapping. She went down the stairs and hopped up on a bar stool, looking completely entertained by her shoes.

River blinked her dark eyes turning on Maara, Ignoring Richard- because she didn't know him and didn't care for him. That was a good enough reason to avoid him. Slowly staring her gaze drifted across the room back to the lighter in her hands flicking it on the flame lasting only as long as she'd let it, A type of control. She didn't fancy it, She liked the flame because it was usualy un controled but Humans always crave for perfect control- correction they need control.

((See? Trina doesn't like him because he's always so polite...she doesn't trust him a bit.))

"It reminded me of birthday cake candles." The cat girl replies to River, almost as if unsure if she can.

"Well, it's lovely to meet you Miss. River." Richard says, still smiling as if her response had been perfectly pleasant. She wasn't human, and that, of course, made him want to ask questions. But he wouldn't do that...not if she looked like she'd attempt to hurt him for it. He sits several seats away from them both, still smiling.

Maara's tail flipped. "No. I've never gotten to celebrate my birthday...but I know what cake and stuff is." She said, trying to remember her birthday. "Trina gets me things all the time though, so I don't need one." She said thoughtfully.

Richard wiped the smile from his face with an effort. "I'm sorry Miss. River...didn't mean to annoy you." He looked away.

Maara tilted her head, watching River. "...I guess...but...I'm not bad..." She said, but seemed uncertain. Was she bad? Most times, Trina found things she thought Maara would like, and brought them home to her...she didn't usually ask for them. Like...the candy in the drawer. Trina kept it there because Maara liked it...not because she asked.

Richard had to keep himself from smiling that disarming smile of his. "No Ma'm, I am not. But I am absolutely sure you could put me in my place." He said, a flicker of that smile, then gone. "So why I do not fear you, I am not underestimating you either."
