Amenitre crossed her arms tightly, glaring weakly at Ayira. "Because he was ignoring me. I don't like it when people ignore me." She looked down at Ayira's outfit, and smiled. "Are you here for the festival? Are you one of the dancers?"

"He was not ignoring you. He was informing me on who you were. I do belive You owe him an apoligy." she said. "No I am not for the festival..." she smiled.

Amenitre tossed her head, closing her eyes. "He is Papa's priest, so he's beneath him. Since he listens to Papa, he listens to me, too. That's the job of an underling." Seto ran a hand through his hair; apparently he had gone through this many times with the child.

"There's no need." Seto said coolly, plucking Amenitre from Ayira's grip and placing her down on the floor. "As for your question, child, you would have to talk to the pharaoh for an answer. As his firstborn, you have some power, but not as much if you were his firstborn son. If he likes his other children more than he does you, then yes, they will be of higher rank than you. But his new wife may be sterile or any number of things could happen."

Ayria was quiet as she watched seto answered the child. She might have been a bratty child herself but she had always been punished when disrespecting an elder.

Amenitre grumbled but left, her question having been answered. Seto closed the door behind her, and looked out the window again. "It's time to continue with the day," he said, seeing that it was no longer noon. "The pharaoh will probably want something done about security. If not, I will have to suggest it." He began to put on his priest gear, his expression getting less and less soft, until he had 'become' a priest again, both physically and mentally.

Ayira sighed "If im a lionness then youra lion." Shesaid thinking about his ealier comment "Shall I stay here Or come with you?"

"Hmph." Seto turned towards the door. "I don't see why it would be a problem for you to come. You need to learn more about our culture, right? And there isn't much you can do here." He paused to reach into his pocket, then pulled out the Millennium Rod, just making sure it was still there.

"Alright." Ayira said. She pulled an odd looking instroment from she bag and left her bag on the bed. She then followed him.

Atem was out in the gardens with Nanu when Seto came up. He scowled, not in the mood to deal with his arrogant priest right then. "What." It wasn't a question, it was a statement. Seto looked over his shoulder briefly to make sure Ayira had been able to keep up with him, then looked at the pharaoh, straightening up. "Majesty, I was wondering if you could take a break in your... stroll... to think about what needs to be done." His eyes flicked towards Nanu. "With the festival approaching, the thief might get it into his head to plan another attack of some kind. Not to mention that all sorts of other no good people will want to come, for whatever reasons. You need to focus on strengthening the palace's security, and--" Atem's scowl deepened, making the priest stop mid sentence. Seto had come to bother him about this dull stuff. He waved his hand, shaking his head. "I'll need to consult the other priests, Seto. But not right now. Can't you bug me some other time?"

Nanu looked over noticing ayira "Do you ever get cold?"
Ayira shook her head "No Im actly quite warm."

"Oh, right, Nanu... This is that person I told you about earlier." Atem said, noticing Ayira when she spoke up. He looked at Seto, and remembered his fury earlier when he made them share the room. "So, are you two enjoying yourselves?"

Ayira chuckled softly"Yes were getting along..." "Whats that?" nanu asked noticing the small thing in her hands "Oh it's my ocrina" Ayira said "I keep it with me at all times..." "Oh can you play somthing?" Nanu asked. She enjoyed music. "Ok." Ayira said. She thought for a moment before playing a song. Her hips slowly swayed with the music. ((That thing in melodys hands..thats what ayira has.And I love this song.))

[Pokemans! I love Pokemon. Not the show or movies so much (except any with Mewtwo) but I love the franchise otherwise. ^w^ I would have thought an ocarina like from Zelda 64. ]
Seto watched Ayira as she played, then turned towards the pharaoh. He noticed that Atem was watching Ayira as well, but his cheeks were flushed. Seto cleared his throat slightly and the pharaoh jumped, the flush fading. An idea came over Seto, but he pushed it down quickly. No... he wouldn't want that. "You should have her perform during the festival, my pharaoh."
