"Riveting." Alcy bent her head backward to see Kaggy coming towards her. "No idea, right now. This one here thinks she's the God of Awesomeness or something, though." She grinned, returning her head to normal so she was once again facing Kozue. "So, then, Kozue-san," she said as she propped herself against the couch the girl had just been hiding behind and began to try to kick off her shoes, "What," the left shoe was coming loose, "Brings" the left fell with a "thud" and the other was coming off already, "You here?" The right shoe hit the floor. "I noticed you were being... pursued." She grinned.

"I am so late!" Saywer whispered to herself angrily as she sped from her car and up the stairs to the ornate front door of the magnificent Ouran High School. Her heart raced; the sound of her clicking heels barely kept tempo with her speeding feet while she rocketed through halls and staircases. "I should have told them I couldn't stay! They knew I had a choir audition! How could I be so stupid! I shouldn't have taken her shift!" She scolded herself as she came to a halt outside the music room door. She glanced at her watch and smiled faintly. "Just enough time left." She murmured, her chest heaving softly with each panting breath. She leaned her ear to the door, and only a faint rustling issured from within. "No one's singing. They must have waited for me!" She beamed, her heart soaring. She ran her hands over her suit jacket, smoothing out the wrinkles, then down onto her skirt, dusting the dirt of the day from it's dark blue fabric. From her purse, Sawyer pulled a powder compact, flicked it open, and checked her makeup, her hair, to assure not a hair, not an eyelash was out of place. When she was satisfied with her appearance, she reached for the door, her head held high with pride, her countenance professional, and her heart grateful to the choir and director on the other side of the door, and for the audition she'd spent the past four months preparing for. Or so she thought. As she walked through the doorway, it was not a choir nor the director that met her eyes. Not a music stand or singer was to be found; in their place, from wall to wall, were tables, delicately decorated with rose filled vases and set with full tea services and silverware, and beautiful linen tablecloths that gleamed a perfect white in the light of the afternoon sun. "No..." She murmured as the smile fell from her face and the very life fell from her heart, "no... I practiced for.... I worked for... that's not fair..." her voice cracked as the fresh tears threatened to breech the threshold and spill down her cheeks. Her eyes darted from table to perfect table in disbelief at the cruelty of time and the futility of everything she'd done in preparation, "That's.... that's... That's not FAIR!" her voice and knees finally failed her as the realization of her ultimate failure replaced the shock and she hit her knees on the carpet, and commenced to weep silently into her hands, her heart laid bare and broken in her chest.

"No, no, one of my pennames is based on my favorite mythological figure, the Norse god of fire and chaos, Loki," Kozue said in response to Alcy's crack at her internet alias. Before answering why she was there, another girl came in and began crying. "Uh, okay...What's wrong with her?"

Kyouya looked up from his seat. "Ah, Cely-san. Please forgive my rudeness," he said, bowing slightly.

At the sound of voices, Sawyer looked up, careful as always to peek through her fingers rather than expose her streaky mascera. When her eyes fell on the other people in the room, shame and embarrassment colored her cheeks and face and she quickly pushed herself to her feet. Her hand remained clamped firmly over her mouth as she bowed slightly and murmured a faint, "Excuse me." With her head held high in a facade of pride, she turned on her heel and walked back to the door and opened it, closing it behind her. Once outside, the facade fell away and she broke into a dead sprint. "What's wrong with you, Sawyer!" she whispered to herself, "Crying in a place like that. In front of people like that. You forget that you're different, don't you." So distracted in her thoughts, Sawyer nearly slid into the side of her car. She reached a shaky hand for her purse, barely able to contain the tears again, when she realized her purse wasn't there. She searched her body over and found nothing. The realization had come too late that she had left it behind, back there, with them. She slid down the door of her car and sat on the ground next to it. "What else could possibly go wrong today?"

When the girl left, Kozue shrugged. "Cheer up, emo kid," she mumbled. Then she spotted something: a purse The crying girl had left it behind. Kozue's face slowly broke into a mischeivious grin. She went over to the purse and picked it up, then shook it like a kid with a present to see if she could gather what was inside.

Cely waved her hand and grinned. "Bah, no biggy Kyouya. Good afternoon, Watari-san. Mind if I have a seat?" As she spoke, she instinctively unclipped her duffelbag and pulled out her sketchbook. She would soon set her plan into action, a plan that would benefit Kyouya in profits and herself in pleasure. She snickered to herself quietly and glanced around the room. At first, she wondered why she had only heard Kyouya, but realized her headphones were still on and pulled them down around her neck.

Kaggy sighed. "New year, new sheeps. Wonder how long these'll last." She paused. "Wanna take a bet, Alcy?"

Kyouya nodded slightly, smiling at his long time friend. He typed a bit more on his laptop before closing it. We seem to be getting busier today. Good for profits.

Kozue examined the purse, seeming to be considering whether or not to root through it. Or maybe the way her eyes were darting around proved she was just vying for attention or trying to make a dramatic first impression. Her eyes widened a little bit when she spotted Kyouya. Well, hello, who do we have here? A hot guy. Wonder who he is...

Alcy shrugged. "At most, I'll give them a few months before they get bored. Although, some of them seem more resilient than others, we may have some solid additions here." She spun around so that she was actually facing Kaggy. "However, I'm not much of the betting type."

Kozue glanced around and frowned. Again, no one was acknowledging her. Kozue was not used to real life interaction: being the daughter of two computer workers (one running a computer industry, one running a dot-com bidding site), most of her time was spent in the virtual world. Everyone paid attention to her there: people risked their hard-drives, computors, and even careers messing with Radical or Night Ninja, two of her tags. But in real life, people were perfectly capable of ignoring her, and Kozue did not like that. Not one bit. But how to draw attention to herself without looking foolish...?

Watari laughed softly as Kyouya seemed overly busy to actually answer him and without any urging he moved and poured tea for the youngest Ohtori. He brought it over to the dark haired boy and set it on his desk, not saying anything, before moving toward some of the women. "Alcy-san, honored guests, could I interest anyone in some tea or fresh made snacks."
Kaoru Hitachiin walked into the host club, a bright smile on his lips and a look on his face that spoke of a secret that only he knew. "Good day everyone. Seems we're a lot busier than normal."

The word 'snacks' caught Kozue's attention. If there was one weakness she had (other than anime/cosplay, metal music, and an opportunity to blackmail someone), it was any type of sugary snack. She sidled up to Watari. "What kind of snacks?" she asked in a sweet voice...as sweet as she hoped these snacks would be.
((Yeah...Kozue luvs her junk food.))

“Must have been those wild rumors…” Suddenly, Kaoru Hitachiin seemed to split in two as Hikaru stepped out from behind his twin, giving the room a sweeping glance and a sly smirk. “That two Kaorus would be coming today. Or is it two Hikarus? What do you think?” He glanced at his twin, eyebrow raised in question.
