Yashweh, Chelsea, Saleh

Yashweh was still just as shocked. How much past had they preserved? Had Falia really been here since time began? That's what his mother told him. That was why they had demons and gods living among them, because they were the original land. "thank you!" he exclaimed, looking back at all the books. He could read a little bit. Yashweh had a basic understanding of literature.

Elliot looked over, holding up the own kitten in his arms. "Perhaps, though I can't be completely sure. They could just be practicing." But he bent down and shifted, carefully picking up the kitten in his mouth, walking beside Leo, albiet awkwardly. The king kicked the boots from his paws and continued, soon shaking out of the pants. "ih gehs eahhier wih pracihe"

Take her to who? Oh well, Chelsea waved bye, going to wash off her utensils as she saw the others do. But go north. All right. After quickly asking which direction was north, she followed the path curiously, looking up into the trees and around at the greenery, even stopping to look at bugs. She had to admit, bugs were interesting, and so harmless in most cases.

Yashweh looked back at Oliver finally before looking at the book, face filling with glee as he took it, opening it quickly. "Ah! These are stories! Mother tells them all the time!" And flipped through the pages, in awe at the art accompanying them. "Should I tell you one? There are so many, though!"

The silver eyes rolled in their skull, continuing to walk before placing down Rin and laying down, curling around him to keep the kitten warm as he relaxed his jaw. He gave a loud purr as Birch stroked between his ears, waiting for leo to walk before picking up Rin and quickly catching up. "why wouh he be by ga woma's dor's?"

Chelsea stopped to look at the smile child, wondering what species of animal he was. "Not at all! Princess Nix told me I should come this way so I thought i should. While I know how to get back, I don't knw where I am currently. Does this part of Falia have a name?" She shifted her dress before crouching down to his level, smiling at the boy.

"Ah. Good eye I didn't see them." And moved towards the plush chairs, climbing onto one and sitting properly. "Which one do you want to hear? The one of the desert demons? The lone tree? The path of flowers? A god's jealousy?"

"I look like a lynx how can I look like a child?" he asked, looking up at smiling at the sleeping kittens happily, purring and rubbing himself against Leo's ankles. "See? You told me letting Hasta dance with her was a bad idea. I believe him to be smitten if he's sulking at the women's dorms."

Chelsea stood there, looking at the man that walked out, her ears curling back at the sheer size of this man. Oh, head of the bear clans, that would explain the ears... and the size. "Uhm, probably because I'm a bear, in all honesty. It's very nice to meet you, sir." she bowed down quickly. "I just asked to wander though, so I really had no intention of intruding."

"I can tell you about the demons!" And flipped over before finding the picture. "A young beggar boy was walking through the desert to find water. His mother warned him to be careful because demons were out, and the boy nodded saying he would be. However after walking for half a day he saw a black shape and walked past it. 'You look thirsty, friend' the shape spoke, but the beggar ignored him and kept walking. But night was starting to fall and he saw a fire, but instead the shadow behind him sat down, joining more groups of shadows." Yashweh paused, smiling and turning around the book to show Oliver the picture. "Does it sound interesting so far?"

"I would never make you trip. I'd shift and catch you at the risk of being publicly indecent." and thought on Hasta's possible reasoning. "Who knows. I find him incredibly confusing and hard to understand. Whatever he is doing he must have a reason for."

Chelsea quickly stood back up, listening intently and nodding. "I come from Nalaenir. That's where my father raised me. And I'd hate to be a burden! I could continue walking I fear I may have woken you up. The princess mentioned you might be sleeping so I deeply apologize for interrupting your rest." the one she would love to take.

Yashweh turned the book back around. " ' The boy decided to stop for the night, having no tools for a fire himself, and sat down. He ignored any conversation the shadows tried to start with him and laid down to go to sleep. When they thought him asleep the shadows talked amongst themselves of humans and of ways to become human once more. 'Too many ignore us nowadays.' one said. 'How can we become human if they ignore us? They walk right by.' 'Well my friend,' said another, 'we must find a way to grab their attention.' 'surely in the desert they lack what we have.' came the third. 'Net time we should offer our supplies.' Then they all turned in and fell asleep. Come morning the human sat up, realizing he was alone with his equipment stolen and a single canister of water. He took it and began walking, looking to hopefully find the shadows that stole his things. Instead he was coming close to a town, and he saw a little beggar boy walking out into the dessert, looking tired from being woken up so early. "You look thirsty, my friend." ' Yashweh smiled as he finished the story, looking back down at Oliver. "He became a shadow because he didn't ignore them like his mom said."

"They can tease all they want. I may not be the most, exciting, thing to see while nude, but you are carring our children and I cannot allow them or you to get hurt. I will suffer the harassment." Ears perked and listened, eyes scanning for the red-haired demon, taking a step to the side to avoid Nix possibly tripping on him. "We're looking for Hasta. Have you seen him?"

"All right. Thank you very much." and walked inside, ears lowered. "Actually, my dad isn't a bear. My dad used to be in the Nalaeniran army, and after coming too late for a battle he found me as a small babe, and since him and his wife couldn't conceive a child they decided to raise me. So really, they're my parents. Neither one of them are bears, my mother passed when I was young and my father is human."

"I'll find a happier one." The young prince flipped through the pages. "What about the lucky camel? That has a happy ending."

"Tralf?" Elliot asked, "The leader of all the bear clans, if I remember correctly." he nodded, allowing Nix to hold Rin. Yuki would forever be a momma's boy it seemed, but that was all right. If they were both independent who knew what Leo might do. "Then let's get going. I'm starting to overheat." he muttered. But it was nice to stretch his legs.

"My human mother did, yes. I'm sorry, I don't know anything about my birth parents. My father found me under rubble. My human parents are Henry and Anna, though like I said my mother passed away a while ago. I don't think my father ever really got over her death. He still misses her dearly." She smiled softly if not a bit sadly. Her parents always looked to be in love when she was small, and at her mother's death her father might as well have died right beside her. "He's, found some women to keep him distracted. Here from Falia, actually."

"There was a camel herder, herding along his camels. He had many camels, tall, short, fat, skinny, one hump, two, but in the back was a camel named Elijah. Now Elijah was a very lazy camel, he hated walking such long distances. The farmer would walk them for long and long and longer miles, making all the camels grow thirsty. Luckily for him they stopped at a small oasis, the herd allowed to eat for lunch while the herder slept. Elijah happily gulped down the water before walking around, finding a perfectly shady spot between a tree and a stone, and fell asleep."

Yashweh turned the book back to his friend, showing him the pictures and waiting a few moments before turning the book back around. "When Elijah awoke it was nightfall. Had his group left him? He stood and walked around, spotting a group of bandits, quickly hiding again. They were sitting beside all the good grass, and Elijah did not want to go search for his herd on an empy stomach. So he charged in, biting as much of the grass as he could before the bandits managed to capture him. 'What should we do with him? He ruined our camp!' one man exclaimed, beared long, 'he is a dumb beast. We can kill him and eat him later.' And Elijah, hearing these words decided to speak up. "Please do not eat me! I have ingest too much water and if I am cooked I will explode!' The man laughed and decided to set the camel free, waiting to see him explode. Elijah only laugh, "I have humps on my back that store water!' and happily trotted off knowing he'd fooled the bandits."

Elliot stopped in shock, feeling his fur stick to him and he was soaked and he could barely feel the cold. "I was, thank you." he commented, knowing this would go from feeling like water to feeling like sweat.

The brown ears perked. "Yes! Do you know him?" Her dad came and spoke to her? Why? Why would her father go and try to speak to bears? "How knowledgeable, then." she murmured, giving a nod. "I'll be sure too. thank you.
