Kaori smiled at Kohaku, but then turned when Knnives launched himself at her. She quickly dodged Knives’ attack, and grabbed him, but she didn’t account for how heavy his armor, and larger build, made him, and just ended up hanging onto his shoulders like a backpack or a monkey[1/3] Kaori dropped down and looked up at him,
“Again please.” She requested. When Knives attacked again, she accounted for the difference in weight and watched him, when he attacked, she managed to dodge, and grab him. This time she managed to lift him into the air, but not by much. [2/3] “One last time. I think I’ve got it this time!” Kaori said, determination in her gaze. She held her ground as Knives attacked again and smiled slightly when she dodged, then grabbed him, and then threw him into the air. [3/3] She grinned when Knives landed back on the ground, “That was okay, right?”

Passives: Teikou no Kuntou [ Electrical Resistance Training ] Rank: E Official Description: A passive skill that prevents the user from being harmed inadvertently from the creation of the Raiton Chakra used in his or her own techniques. A person who doesn't learn this skill will generally feel pain when performing their own Raiton techniques, whereas one who learns this ability tends to notice that minor shocks generally do not hurt them as badly. Guild Description: See official description.
Jiba Soujuu [ Magnetic Manipulation ] The act of converting your own chakra into magnetic energy. Although no longer chakra, per se, it can still be controlled as thought it were. Using this method, one is able to control all sorts of metals, most notably, iron sand or powder. The reason for this is that it is a very easily controlled solid- malleable almost as if a solid. Structures that have resistances or other forces working against the user obviously require more chakra to manipulate, and are thusly deemed "a waste of energy." • Requires [6] posts to learn. • Must learn before proceeding to other techniques.
Yondaime Kazekage's Gold Dust [ Unnamed ] Rank: Passive This unnamed Ninjutsu technique is utilized by Yondaime Kazekage. After forming the needed hand seal, dark circles will form around Yondaime Kazekage's eyes. During this time, he can make use of Jiton, or the Magnetic Element. This allows him to control nearby gold dust through magnetic fields. Sandaime Kazekage developed a style of Jiton manipulation upon viewing the Jinchuuriki of Shukaku the Ichibi Bijuu. Their control of sand was mimicked by using magnetic fields to move small particles of metal. Because gold is heavier than sand, Yondaime could send the gold dust into it and thus neutralize Shukaku when it went on a rampage. Yondaime could manipulate the gold in several ways, forming tendrils and protective waves. • Requires [8] posts to learn. • Encompasses all heavier metallic elements. • Must learn before proceeding to use with all other techniques/skills.

Walking into the academy, Theodin saw Kaori still training with Knives, he thought about telling her about the style Kohaku was about to start learning, but decided to keep his mouth shut for now. He wanted to do a bit more training, but wasn't sure what to learn, so he sat by the wall with a maruton scroll, reading through it to find a couple new jutsu. (EXIT)

Hoshi walked inside of the academy and looked around slightly to see all who was around. There was no one she recognized obviously but, it would be nice to see who the probable shinobi of this village were. She was also looking for her nephew. Out of all the people that could possibly be of the Hatake clan there was only two in this academy. One being a girl and the other being a male. She knew that this person was going to be a male so she walked over to him, it seemed it was reading some scrolls on something. When she approached him she would clear her throat. "Excuse me but, are you Theodin?"

Theodin sat there reading his scroll, still trying to figure out what jutsu to learn when he got a sense that someone new had walked into the academy. Not really paying them any mind, he kept on reading until he hear someone clear their throat and ask who he was, looking up he saw a girl probably around his age with white hair, he answered "Yeah, I'm Theodin, the kage send you to find me?" he stayed sitting, waiting to hear what she'd say.

"Well, the Kazekage didn't send me. It was more of a personal mission to find you. You see, I'm the Kazekage's sister which would effectively make me your aunt. Just wanted to come by and meet more of my family that I was unaware I had." Hoshi said with a smile as she talked to the male. It was strange for her to be his aunt since he was practically the same age as her which brought more questions up in her head about how Ayame exactly made this child. Those questions though could be answered at a later date. For now she wanted to speak with her nephew for a moment before heading off to train some of the Hatake clan techniques then perhaps going to a Dojo of some sore to work on some Bukijutsu.

Theodin was a bit surprised to find out he had more family, raising his eyebrows a bit, “My aunt, eh? Cool! So where've you been all these years? And anything you wanna know about me, Aunt –uhh…I never got your name…” he said as he stood up, setting his scroll aside for now.

Masahiro made his way to the academy grounds and after a few missteps and one wrong turn found his way to the open air courtyard. Eyes scanning the field he found himself a spot with some relative shade and adjusted his garb before coming to sit. As he sat he let his mind wander for a few moments over the choices he had made and where he was now, but he would not see himself regretting a moment of this. Drawing himself into a cross-legged position he drew his hands up into the first handsign. Chakra began to well up erratically in his body and the visage of sparks danced around his frame. [1/4]
The Hatake composed himself and shifted his hands slowly, methodically, into the second seal. His eyes closed and the tense chakra around himself began to dissipate, focusing itself into his internal networks. The desires and reluctance to let go of them were trappings of this world. Guild, petty anger, hatred, things he avowed to never feel in such lengths as his former friend, Uchiha Kein. The vision of Koan as a child flashed into his mind for a moment, then pushed away by the visage of the strong woman she had become under his tutelage and her own nindo. [2/4]
His thoughts then drifted to the battle against the UHV for Konohagakure. The first one, he received word of another struggle in his time of absence that resolved before he found himself able to travel. Noctis' inability to hold the events down on his own in a spiraling patternwork of, then recent, failures. His ultimate abstinence from power and the inept Hokage that followed. He let the thoughts fester and felt the familiar hold of chakra building up oddly within his framework and realized he had balled the force up himself. Shifting his hands into the signal of the tiger he forced the balance to return and with it thought of himself in his current situation. He had come here to learn, to become better than he was before. And he was achieving that, finally from beneath the failed umbrella he was in a land of plenty, even as desolate as the countryside itself was. [3/4]
He then finalized his thoughts on himself, looking to what he had become when he let his education wander out from under the umbrella of Konohagakure, from beneath the burning leaves. He had become a Sennin in the Human path from another Hatake. He learned great philosophical and physical form from Satetsu Sanshi, and now. Now he felt he was coming to the zenith of what he could potentially become, by allowing his education to accept lessons from authors outside the Book of Leaves. It took the wind to turn the pages. He set the final seal and with a flourish the built up chakra burst free from himself and he let his eyes open once more. Seeing the world for what it was, not his hatred diluted variation of it. [4/4] [Intermediate Training: Meditate I completed]
Masahiro was not finished here, however, many heavy thoughts still lingered and weighted his mind down, and as such he found himself awaiting the chance to expel them. Leaning forward he closed his eyes once more and ran his hands through the motion of seals he had just run once before in quick succession. As soon as he passed through the pattern he added a seal, the seal of the horse. The chakra built back up and cascaded his body, a small tingling sensation enveloping him as he passed into his deeper consciousness. [1/4]
To have a mind that was overly full was to have a mind that could not accept new information, to deny new information was to stagnate and remain ignorant. Ignorance was bliss to some and death to the scholar, and a scholar Masahiro was at his core. His hands moved from Horse to Hare and the flow of chakra became visible on his skin, but not in such a manner as to overflow it's physical boundaries, but as to enhance them. [2/4]
His body and mind coming to ease, the Hatake found his actions to come with him naturally and once more he transitioned his hands from one seal to the next. His mind opening to outside influence and the sounds of the world coming in to fill the dark recesses where moments before he only allow horrid thoughts to remain. He thought to the dance with Sanshi, of light and darkness, of push and pull, the truth of combat. And as his mind followed these ebbs and flows, so too did his chakra, as his materialization danced and crackled over his skin and into the ground before dissipating. [3/4]
Silence, only silence remained as the jounin focused his mind inward for a moment. He filtered the sounds and thoughts that were superfluous, leaving nothingness. His eyes opened and before him was a place of learning, a place of hope, and where the next generation would continue to train, as well as the Honour Guard. A smile met the somber man's face and he brought his hands back to the first gesture they had made, once more dispelling the buildup of chakra he had flow throughout himself. [4/4] [Intermediate Training: Meditate II Completed]
Masahiro remained still in his seated position and with careful maneuvering removed his tachi from it's scabbard, tilting the blade forward away from himself. The silvered green eyes watched the blade for any sign of imperfection or bend, and when none registered to him he extended the blade out before himself. Bringing one hand up in front of his face he made a simple seal and conjured chakra throughout his body, focusing it on his wrist and hand. [1/4]
The chakra he summoned forth found easy purchase in the chakra enhanced steel of his blade and began to vibrate the blade, dancing happily throughout and alongside its edge. The Hatake watched as he continued to focus more and more energy into the blade, the intensity of the whiteness increasing each moment. His focus was austere and his purpose a sure sign of his intent. He wanted to get to know his blade once more, he had not drawn it, beyond oiling and cleaning it, in nearly an age and it felt oddly alien in his hand. [2/4]
Still the man would not be deterred and he continued to press the chakra into the fine steel until the crackling and crying of the blade met his standard. The length of his blade even seemed to extend a few inches from raw chakra focus. This technique, one of the Hatake clan, the Tanto Yaiba was a favored technique of his for extending the strength of standard blows against unsuspecting opponents. His face, however, did not show the familiar smile it used to when he practiced the techniques his mother had taught him, instead now he looked at it for what it was, like him, a weapon of war. [3/4]
With the blade in full effect he took a simple swing at a rock that was before him, the blade cleaved it easily in two. He didn't even need to apply pressure or exert force to achieve this end, the honing of blade by electrical means was more than enough. He ruminated on this fact for a moment, but then stopped, remembering the purpose of his earlier meditations. He could not allow himself to become the dreadful man he had felt himself becoming once before, all over again. [4/4] [ Intermediate Training: Performance I Completed ] [ Technique Utilized: Hatake Raiton: Tanto Yaiba -15 Chakra ]
Standing and holding the blade before himself the jounin inspected the area around him, seeing none who would come between him and the wall he adopted a relaxed bladesman stance and envisioned the figured of a man in the wall. He made a few thrusts of the blade towards the imagined target but made no physical contact, his body just getting used to the motions once more. His eyes taking in each moment of the blade, the steel, the chakra dancing on its surface, and his own breathing, matching each stroke. [1/4]
Stepping back he brought the blade to bear over his head, then bringing down in a slight slashing motion forward, but feinting the blade through only to lead it into a stab. The motion still didn't carry through to the wall, but it drew closer as his footwork drew him nearer with two steps forward. A quick slash from the point of the second stab would make for a shallow incision should it strike, and while not grievous it was a painful wound to be had. He would follow this with a step back into his original position and bringing the blade to a position lateral with his hips. A thin smile crossing his lips as masochistic thoughts arose, only to be squashed back down. [2/4]
The second advance would mark the first of a series of strikes. His blade would miss the wall in a narrow margin, but the solidified chakra would carve out a thin niche in the wall. His blade withdrew quickly and pressed again, angled blade upwards, which followed through with an upwards flick, carving out a line. A third press made the blade connect and the searing of electricity dug in deeper, this was carved alongside the second incision. The procession of marks was followed, quickly, surely, and purposefully. [3/4]
Shunkan no Hagane was one of two swordstyles the jounin had taken to his wing to master, this was an art on which he still practiced. But each stroke continued tearing the smallest bits of stone from the wall, arranged to the chart of elemental weaknesses, the first thought process which came to the man's head as he thought on both academy and striking. His work was diligent, hard pressed, and evenly done in depth, but not enough to pierce the wall in its entirety. With his calligraphy finished the jounin Hatake stepped back and looked upon his work with a feeling of slight satisfaction. It had been all on instinct, each calligraphic stroke. Masahiro stood still for a few minutes enjoying the sight of what he had created in the wall and as he did the energies enveloping his blade faded away. He would take but a moment more to inspect the accuracy of his work before meandering towards it, sitting at the base of it, almost reminiscent of the Buddha statues before the dharmic wheel. As he centred himself he looked once more to his blade and replaced it in its sheath, then closing his eyes as he formed one more seal with his hands. The energies he had expended slowly began to rebuild themselves within him while he came to rest. [1/3]
The jounin pondered existence for a short time, his minds eye examining the intricacies of this shinobi caste system and the kind of world it built around them. He then thought on the different Daimyo, their place in the greater scheme of things, then finally he came to thinking of the Gokage, the representative leaders of the Shinobi Nations. The kind of existence they allowed to exist beneath them. The lands of Fire and Lightning seemed to be in disarray in the time he had been near either, yet here in the land of Sand and Winds there was a serenity, an almost intrinsic need for all of its inhabitants to respect each other. He pondered this and shifted his hands subconsciously, once more redirecting his chakra flows. [2/3]
Electricity once more crackled around the shinobi's frame as he sat in deep thought, his mind then shifting to think of the conversations he first held with Sanshi when he arrived here. Of the meaning of war, of knowing, of everything and of nothing. The void that was left in his mind still ached to be filled, but if it were to ever be full would he be able to survive, or would his mind stagnate and lead to his death? As he pondered this query his hands shifted to a fourth motion and extended forward, channeling his chakra to his hands, creating a cats cradle of sparks between his opened fingers. [3/3] [ Advanced Training: Concentrate I Complete ]
The sparking cradle did little to bring his thoughts back to this world, however, at least back to this exact place. He gave a deep breath and closed his eyes, shifting his hands inwards and into the position of the boar. His entire frame seemed to relax now, as if the stresses and tensions of the last week and his earlier apprehensions about discussing his status with the Kazekage had just melted away. This was becoming deeper and deeper and his mind chased away from the conscious realm for brief dips of introverted thought. [1/3]
Every time he would dip away from the world he would pull himself back and try to focus on his place once more. This kept him somewhat grounded, but still his mind wanted to reach for the deeper information down in the void. The sudden interest in the darkness swirling beyond his reach only seemed to pique his interests more, but still he drew himself back to the moment. A last thought to the void he gave, before drawing himself to the moment at hand. [2/3]
He carried on the motions, his hands dancing through the seals as he shifted and balanced the energies within himself. The jounin then gave thought to the Sennin Moodo, remembering his transformations into that mode and the odd feeling he had each time he returned from it, as if some part of his repressed mind had clawed briefly to the surface. The coursing energies gave him that thrill, but not the taste that came with it, and he stopped.
"Am I sane?" He asked himself, placing his hands to the final seal to clear the energies before touching his face, a pallor sweat upon himself. [3/3] [ Advanced Training: Concentrate II Completed ]

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
Knives smiled at Kaori. "That'll do dear." he caught the latter half of Ayame's sister or something or other.
'Good god, is there anyone NOT related to that... woman.' 'First off, glad you didn't go with the more dirty insult. Secondly, last I checked WE'RE not related to her.'
"Right so now the next technique can be used WITH the Rising Star technique. However, it can also be used on the ground obviously. Kaori smiled and nodded at Knives, his praise was sparing, and often didn't even sound like praise, but that was more than fine with her. She shook her head slightly, and nodded as she watched him closely, when the dummy was destroyed she blinked a few times, then nodded in understanding.
“Alright. Rising, and then falling. Makes sense...” She mumbled to herself as she thought about it and committed this latest move to memory.

Hoshi nodded softly. "Yeah I'm your Aunt. My name is Hoshi and I have just been with my father for the last 18 years. He unfortunately has passed away and he wished for me to come be with my family here. Little did I know that it would include a nephew. I really don't know what I want to know about you, just wanted to meet you really. If you wanted to tell me what your expertise are and perhaps rank are that would be a good start."

Listening to Hoshi’s response, Theodin nodded “Wow, I’m sorry to hear that, I bet traveling all over was kinda cool though… Anyway, I’m a jounin ninjutsu specialist, though I know a bit of genjutsu and taijutsu too, and I was just recently inducted into Suna’s ANBU corps. Nice to meet you, though, aunt Hoshi.”

"I honestly didn't travel around that much. It was mostly living in one place until my father had to go on a mission... A ninjutsu specialist huh? That's pretty cool and congrats on your induction into the Anbu. I personally want to learn some Kugutsu and bukijutsu. However, I need to learn the bukijutsu first I feel and do some missions to earn some money to fund my Kugutsu." Hoshi would say to her nephew. She was somewhat excited to start learning all of this stuff that her father had kept her ignorant too. This day and age wasn't the time to be weak though. Hoshi had heard of the problem that was the UHV and she knew that she needed to become strong to help with that problem and to help her sister in her new position. Perhaps she could be an anbu like her nephew at some point.
