Noelle nearly jumped out of her skin when Michelle had an incident with a bolt of lightning. This called her attention back to the deck where there seemed to be a few things going on. What caught her eye the most was the discourse between the group by the mast. She leaned on her hands as she watched Louis' movements and the healings by Jenny and Joe (all before Joe abandoned ship). It seemed that creature had really done a number on a certain few. She just wished she had actually killed the thing. Maybe if she had kept on her barrage a little longer.
Well, no use worrying about it now . . .
The agromancer was going to go put her shoes back on and see what the commotion was with Kyle but became distracted by how easily distracted Sora was. He was looking up at the giant structure constructed of miscellaneous ship parts. Noelle couldn't deny that the building caught her eye as well as soon as she diverted her attention. It was certainly wonder inspiring. The blond felt a small smile tug at the corners of her lips. Yet another amazing moment in their perilous journey--a memory to be tucked away for later review.
"Sure is . . ." Noelle said softly, eyes trying to take in every detail. "I can't wait to get inside! Oh, shoot, but first I gotta get my shoes."

"I hope you're not leaving so soon, wannabe. I only just got here."
The rogue walked into view, his arms crossed over his chest as he made his presence known to the Replica. Hades no doubt already knew the ronin had arrived, but the lack of darkness would have made him a much more difficult target to sniff out now for those capable of the ability. "My own darkness may have faded, and my power to smell darkness may have diminished... But sniffing out something like yourself, that is defined by darkness, is no difficult task for someone as big as me."
Cory slipped his hands in his pockets, now addressing both the god and Replica as he said, "So, guys... what's going on in this topic?"

Dani smiled as the heartless disappeared finally and that there was a tiny break in between battles. Dani dusted herself off before overhearing that there were “alien police” talking about reinforcements. Dani decided to walk over to where Bobbi and Kyle were located to hopefully she would shed some light onto the situation.
“I really don’t know if we are the reinforcements you are looking for.” Dani yelled to the alien police before stopping on the other side of Bobbi. “I agree with Kyle though, if you need help we could possibly provide our services. What would you need us to do?”

Dawn continued to watch silently as Joe and Jenny worked to finish the task of healing Kyle of his poison. It was a relief to finally have that taken care of. Though she really didn't know what to make out of Joe's jumping overboard. She would of checked on him, but she figured Joe wasn't so stupid to jump off if he was planning on drowning himself... At least she hoped not.
Besides that, with Kyle taken care of, they had one more person they needed to figure out how to help. Dawn stood up and looked over at Louis, though she was annoyed with him, she was even more worried. He lost his eye sight. There must be something that all of them could do to help him. Dawn's eyes drifted over to Jenny, who's magic seemed to have the greatest potential to reversing damage.
"Hey, Jenny," Dawn spoke up sounding rather timid to herself as she paused to look back at Louis then back at Jenny, "Do think that there maybe someway you, or we, could do help Louis regain his eyesight?"

The Dragoon's immediate thoughts to Joe's 'forfeit'? 'Well, of course I'm right.' However, as he remained stone-silent, Kyle's gears began to turn, and he felt the one thing that was kryptonite to his success in any argument- guilt.
Kyle patiently waited through the process, going through the stages as Louis had predicted. There was a lightheaded-ness as he touched his head, though he managed to keep his composure (his eyelids fluttered for a bit); the nausea was something he was mostly accustomed to by this point due to having to obtain his sea legs (though he still felt queasy). However, it was as Louis' hand jumped to his chest, over his heart, that he went stiff, his eyes wide and dilated.
It wasn't excruciating, but it was so much more than 'uncomfortable', too. It felt, quite literally, as if Louis had just taken a piece of Kyle out of his body, leaving a crevice in his corpse. He was utterly paralyzed, as if his instincts made him believe that any sudden movement would make it impossible to fit the piece back in once it was polished. His chest tightened, his body unmoving; he even, for a moment, heard Ultima groan at the same moment as he did.
Finally, as the Darkness was cleansed and placed back, Kyle inhaled sharply, taking in the breath of fresh air as if it was his first or last. He brought his hand up to his chest, regulating his breathing, and watched as Joe began to stalk off, only for the bo-wielder to leave some parting words.
Kyle's shoulders sagged and his eyes rolled upward, though not out of annoyance; more out of weariness. He could feel, though the seal, that Joe was at the very least nearby, so he didn't bother worrying about the male. He'd get to that later.
"Unless you know someway to cure blindness the normal way," he responded quietly to Dawn and Jenny, turning to glance at the two with a knowing, tired look. "I already tried your basic Esuna. It's not a magical ailment, in the strictest sense of the word."
"Uhh, can't you just wish your shoes back to your feet with the dress sphere?" Sora asked, raising an eyebrow and smiling at Noelle in a teasing manner. "I know I can with my magic clothes, and since they're built off the same magic..."

Noelle made a confused face for a brief moment before her eyes lit up, "OH YEAH! I keep forgetting about that! Silleh me. There's nowhere . . . uhh, thing like shoes!"
The agromancer closed her eyes and knocked her heels together from her sitting position on the deck. There was a flash of light and when she re-opened them her shoes were back, covering her bare toes and leaving her attire whole once again.
"And the ruby slippers are back!" She exclaimed happily, feeling much better than she had before now that her mind was off of what had happened, "Now when do we get off this wreck and onto the other one?"

Elleon raised an eyebrow and looked over her shoulder at the intrusion. Who she saw made her expression change to one of shock momentarily before she cracked a smile. She lifted an arm and sniffed it cautiously.
"Whew, thanks for the warning, I could use a shower." She said in response to his bigshot 'sniffing out' comment. "I was just leaving. But why are you here? Wait, let me guess! You've gone and died again, havent you? I've always been fond of the concept of Darwinism, and to see it in effect just warms my heart."

With a deep breath, and exhausted sigh Louis let the last of Kyle's darkness sink back into his chest, shuttering a moment as a natural shiver ran down his spine. Dawn continued to speak, while her intentions were pure, so apparently was her head, "Kyle's right... this isn't magical, I could tell if that were the case. This," Louis paused thinking back to the moment of excruciating pain he felt in his eyes, "Must have been caused by that bright flash in the middle of our battle with that creature. I coated my eyes in darkness to enable me to see." The arcanist paused again to lament over the consequences, "This is the outcome when you mix the two apparently."
Louis took a second to think then changed the subject away from himself and onto Kyle, "So... Joe seems pissed... looks like you pissed off your boyfriend."

"But I..." Dawn looked back and forth between Kyle and Louis, before she sighed as Louis soon changed the topic. She was fighting a losing fight. Not as if they would listen to her. She soon turned away from the group and stormed over towards the railing of the ship that Joe had jumped off of.
Dawn rested her elbows on her the railing and put her head on her hands and let out a sigh. She had enough stress for one day. Why is it she choose to make it worse by worrying about the others? Dawn raised her head and peeked behind her bangs to look at the water. Now she understood why Joe jumped off. She was half tempted to join him. Dawn could go for a good swim.... But instead she remained on board trying to ignore everything around her.

"I no eat..." Quina said with a whine as the patrol took out the last of the heartless before he/she could even get a nibble.
The Gourmand walked over where the children had gathered, he/she had caught the ending of the conversation, he didn't know half of what was going on, but if involved finding good food, he/she was more then willing to join.

Jacob half-heartedly listened to their conversations. It had devolved from cleaning wounds to more drama. Louis had been working magic on Kyle, Joe stormed off, Dawn looked to be almost in tears, and Noelle was being a ditz in front of Sora. Somehow, all of this seemed normal. It was just like high school marching band all over again. He might as well try to do some good now that he was worn out. Jacob didn't think that he could handle all this stress today. "Hey Dawn." He said, hugging Dawn from behind. "You ok?"

Another Battle over, and once they finished picking up the pieces they could move on again right? As she closed her book, not yet dismissing it the police arrived asking if they were reinforcements.
Having wandered over as well she kept quiet but nodded in agreement with the others. In her own mind going along with this new turn of events might bring them to the next stage, as well as bring them back into contact with Ivan Ooze and closer to reclaiming their friends. They needed to rescue Yuffie, Axel and Beatrix... and hopefully Terra as well.
She sent her thoughts over the charms to the others.
‘ If we go with them, it may bring us back face to face with our stolen comrades as well. By now, the Rangers must’ve returned by now- if memory of their story serves me correctly.’
It didn’t sound as hopeful as it was. Coming face to face with their friends wouldn’t be easy. Kyla felt a particular sorrow over it. The sensation of failure…
She recalled the sensation of Alan’s hand holds hers, assuring her she did everything in her power to hold them. As comforting as it was then, remembering that fact now seemed to bring that shame on afresh somehow.
How were they feeling? Did they know what was going on?
How must Terra be feeling right now?
Were they afraid- lost, confused, scared, or completely aware? She hoped for the latter. They shouldn’t carry guilt over what they were forced t do, and knowing Beatrix, she’d take it very personal once she was freed.

Sayrike::The Black Pearl: biggrin eck The gathering clouds hadn't gone unnoticed by Sayrike as she stood a little bit off to the side of the arguing group. The air changed and her nose began to tickle, an almost sure sign of a sudden change in weather. Glancing around to see what the source of the disturbance, Sayrike saw a girl--Dawn's sister, right?--approaching. Michelle looked genuinely upset, though her lightning strike caught Sayrike a little off guard and made her jump slightly. Before the masked girl got a chance to say anything, Michelle ran off, tears in her eyes. However, Anthony was there within moments, and so Sayrike turned her ear back to the group by the mast.
<> Truth be told, Sayrike wasn't entirely acclimated to everyone yet, despite spending the day with them. There were just so many people and so much going on, it was hard to fit in. Well, starting relationships with people was always an experience that required effort, and she knew it'd be awhile yet before feeling at home. However, she didn't share these feelings with Jenny, and kept a light, laughing tone in her voice--err, thoughts. <> She waited to watch Louis pull the darkness out of Kyle and then for Jenny and Joe to purify it. Huh. Did the thing that attack them leave that in its victims? Sayrike made a note not to get sliced by it in the future, if they ever saw it again. Also, that was totally cool, watching Louis do that. Who knew one could manipulate darkness that way?Entering Shipwreck Cove was an amazing experience in itself. Sayrike looked around, slightly in awe at the tenacity and ingenuity of the pirates who made this their base. It didn't look anything like the movie, not that Sayrike remembered much from it anyway. It seemed like a buzzing hive (albeit a slightly mildewy one), more alive and real than anything on film. She wondered what they would encounter next after they disembarked. Her observations didn't stop her from listening in on the group (and from Joe nearly knocking her over as he huffed past and dove into the water). So when Louis mentioned his theory about the cause of his blindness, Sayrike couldn't help but jump in with a shocked, "Wait, what?" She should have figured that she wasn't going to be lucky enough to get through the day without more trouble. "You don't mean the flash of light I caused, do you?"

Dawn continued looking down into the water, watching as the waves hit the side of the ship as it continued to sail into the grove. She was so focused that she had not heard Jacob's approach. So when he hugged her, she wasn't expecting the human contact, nor was she wanting it at the moment. Dawn let out a startled yell as she used a burst of wind to free herself from the grasp of who was hugging her. It would of been enough to knock him back but not enough to harm him. Along with knocking her forward, over the railing and into the water below, with a loud splash.
As Dawn made contact with the water, her dressphere changed for the environment. Removing her tank top and leaving her with a green tube top, in a similar style as her corset, except it had no zipper. Her legs changed into a dark blue fish fin. As Dawn struggled to get a grip on herself and resurface, she caught sight of the tail, which was enough to make her eyes widen and her heart start to panic as she used her hands to swim to the surface. When she did surface she looked around at the ship in a panic, confused and scared of what to do next.

"Meh," he responded, running a hand through his hair as he feigned apathy. "Just needs some time to fume, I guess. Not my fault he let his emotions get in the way."
In reality, he was certainly hit by the intended blow. It left him confused; why bother? Why put him anywhere near the priority list? It didn't make sense. He was some newcomer from Agrabah. He'd led them into a pit of Geists, thus creating the Replicas. He'd dragged a target on them because of the other Ivalician Scions wishing for his death. He'd brought Zexion, a traitor, amongst them.
He was nothing but bad news; a hindrance on the whole. Why bother?
"That's probably what it was, considering I wasn't really a surprise flash; I'd been glowing the entire time," he explained, shaking his thoughts from the prior train of thought. His mind was beginning to tune out the outer layers, slowly attempting to introspect; he didn't even notice they'd entered Shipwreck Cove, let alone what was going on with Dawn. "I doubt it's permanent, since it was more magical than physical, but it's still quite a hindrance, I'd bet. Couldn't be avoided, in any case."
Why have you been so quiet?

John was bleeding in a heap of now evaporating heartless bodies. Breathing heavily he sat down to take a small rest. Spreading his legs out on the beach, he was heavily interested in the police force that came. However, he was in no state to try and get up and converse. It seemed like the conversation was mostly going "Hey, you dere! YOU OUR REINFORCEMENTS?!?!?" and everyone said "yes."... nothing more.
I feel like human interaction has died Ixi... people are too goal oriented...
