Leon's ears twitched slightly and he woke up. It took him a couple of seconds to remember where he was. He looked around the room and saw Alice was gone. He saw Hollis eating an Apple. "Did Alice go back to our room?" he asked her.

Hollis walked into the TV room and smiled, "Everyone okay?" She asked the girl quietly.
She looked to Leon, "Yes, I think she is sleeping." She said, a small smile on her face Mara squealed and clapped her hands. Hollis walked back to the main room, checking on Nick. Finally he was becoming more stable.

Mell entered Hollis and Nicks room. "I brought Thema." She set the baby next to the other two. "How's Nick?"

"I WILL have her!" james saidn again to alice.
alice jerked awake
" it's the runes...must be a side effect. james isn't here...he isn't talking to me..." she laid down and closed her eyes shrouded in darkness. she felt something slide up her thigh.
" I will have her." he repeated as his hand slid up her thigh. he was laying right next to her.
alice jerked back and fell onto the ground. she crawled backwards
" james go away.." she said.
james crouched donw infront of her, naked as well. he pinned her to the wall.
"stay quiet or I'll kill jacklyn." he whispered as he penetrated her .raping her right there.
alice cried as she felt his liquid all over and inside her.

Hollis smiled, "Perfect! Another friend!" She said happily. She looked at Nick, "He's stable.." She said, saddened.
She got up and walked to the door. She put her ear to it, "Leon..Alice is crying.." She said, trying to listen for more. She sensed something wrong in Alice's room.

Leon could sense something was happening to Alice. "Watch Jacklyn" Leon told Hollis and Mell. He ran from the room and headed to his own. He pushed the door open. He could not beleive what he was seeing.

james snapped and disapeared.
alice laid there shaking liquid dripped onto the ground, it wa sa pinkish color. she had her eyes closed scared whimpering softly biting her lip to keep from screaming.

Leon ran over to Alcie. He held her to him. He could not imagine how horrible that must have been for her.

Mell crashed into the room, "Where is he?" She pointed at Alice and Nick. "Who is he? I'm sorry about what happened to you, But I swore to Al that I would protect this inn. I want you to tell me just what raped you. So I can kill it."

Hollis watched the girls, horrified of what was happening outside of the the room. She tried not to think about it, knowing it would make things worse.

alice let go of her bottom lip a drop of blood slowly came from the hole her fang made
" it was a doppleganger of james...told me if I made a noise he would kill jacklyn." she was shaking violently now. in shock of what just happened.

Hollis walked over to Nick, feeling his temperature, still stable. She could tell he was getting better. She poured more dust on him.
Hollis walked back to the girls, they were sleeping. She picked up both of them gently, being sure not to wake them. She placed Mara into her bassinet and Jacklyn into Mara crib, for when she got older..She went back to Thema and set her in Mara's glider, turning it into the make-shift bassinet it morphed into with a few buttons. She was running out of space
