Words of advice:
Never play online games. NEVER. They always find some way to screw you... whether it's charging you for service, having a**-to-nothing tech support, or requring you to have an account ID number in order to send an email to the support people requesting your lost account ID number and explaining how since you already used your registration code for that one you can't make a new account, and you threw away the sticky note with the number on it a week ago, despite having not played the game for 10 months...

How is it that I have in this trash can a soda cup from the first night I spent in this place, yet I can't find the sticky notes that I threw away in the same trash batch a week or two after? *sigh*
I love my sticky notes... why the hell did I throw them away? Oh, right, because I never wanted to touch this thing ever again... for obvious reasons... And I guess that I find them out now. >_<;;

Poor jello. I could loan you one of mine if you wish? *has an extra copy of FFXI (PC), and the codes for the PS2 version that he didn't need since he used the codes from the PC version he first bought*
Yes, somehow, I've ended up with 3 copies of the same game. The 3rd one was a gift from the Square-Enix Halloween Ball, just for showing up (along with a strategy guide, which I already have). Would've been better if they gave me the expansion for PS2 instead.. *sighs*
I should sell 'em.

All I really need is for someone with a game to flip through the friendslist search and find my damn account ID #.
It's not that I can't register for the game, no, I actually got rid of that so it should work... I can't register for the damn manditory browser that lets you GET to the game. Apparently you need to un-sign up for that or it just stays on always, even though the game deletes your account if it's inactive for 3 months.

I remember the first time I played one of those things... I used the free trial period to play, then realized the game just kind of sucked horribly (mainly due to the fact that I COULDN'T play it thanks to my connection), so, while I couldn't find the option to unsubscribe, I just went in to my account info and changed around my billing info. ::snicker::

Truewind VT, out of curiosity, what sort of student did you want? Does it even matter? Not particularly. Just someone to guide them around the temple on a tour, and/or get them in a position to meet Gensou... That's really up to you. ^_^ I have no major preference.

themightyjello Apparently you need to un-sign up for that or it just stays on always, even though the game deletes your account if it's inactive for 3 months. I better start planning ahead, in case something comes up where I can't log on for an extended amount of time... like being deployed.
