It must be kind of telling that when my friends and I walk into a theater and see the previews for a G rated children's movie we're just as excited and don't notice we're supposed to be seeing the previews for an R rated film.

I don't know which is worse, hearing more and more about my sister turning into a bridezilla or my friends going "wellllll...I dunno...I can see her point..."

Oh man.

I'm conflicted over the whole bridezilla thing. On the one hand there are a lot of entitled princesses out there who think this is "my daaaaaayyyyy!" and it's all about them and bla bla, but on the other hand the word is a weapon that people use to make engaged women shut up and be walked over. I mean, if you're in any other situation and a company you're doing business with doesn't deliver on what you pay for, you're not an a*****e for expecting that they make it good. But if it's wedding-related, you're being a bridezilla!

I can't stand the spoiled brats either, though.

I'm still in the process of restoring my computer after a rather nasty hard drive failure. Guh. I need my new comp.

I haven't heard anything about her being angry at the vendors or people she's working with at all, although it wouldn't surprise me if she was. She's mostly just treating our family like crap - insisting my ridiculously broke parents help pay for the really expensive parts of her wedding, getting married on my baby sister's 20th birthday, emailing my mom whining about how my dad is going to ruin her wedding if he doesn't wear the same tux her fiance and all the rest of the guys have but refusing to pay for it herself, demanding we stay to clean up after the reception while she goes bowling, not talking to me or my other sister at all and barely talking to the baby sister (who's a bridesmaid, by the way, on her birthday) or my parents...oh, and telling her maid of honor that the girl has to stop dyeing her hair black if she wants to be in the wedding.

I can definitely understand being frustrated with a vendor if they don't deliver what they promise, because you're paying them for something and they're being lame. And I know she's stressed out from school and work and wedding planning, but neither of my other sisters or my parents want to actually go to her wedding at this point.

Add in that everything on her registry except kitchen utensils is $100 or more, and I just want to kick her - especially since I get the feeling she'll be pissed that no one's gotten her anything off of it. /rant

Yeah, I see the nasty legal procedure as being a lot more likely to happen.

From the two times (maybe three) I've been around him, though, he was pretty much a male version of her...it was really weird.

Gah I want that bow on MS so bad. x.x

Man, why do all the good fantasy shows get canceled? I swear the last one to have any sort of decent run was the two-headed monster of Buffy/Angel. Moonlight was canceled after only one season, even though it bloody WON the people's choice awards. And now Legend of the Seeker, despite an amazingly talented cast, beautiful sets, and great writers. But ******** quality story-telling, eh? That's an hour that could be spent on inane "reality" TV. sad

Heroes has also been canceled.

But don't worry... Winter is coming.

Oh great. Another series of doorstoppers I have a time-limit on reading. Oh well. It'll probably get canceled, too. But hopefully not before Jason Momoa's nudey scene.

Heroes (S1 aside) was pretty bad; I'm glad it got canceled. Same goes for Smallville, though that wasn't canceled so much as the WB saying "next season is the last one, for sure".

LOST is officially done now too; I liked the ending, but I'm glad it's over.

I'm seriously hoping this one doesn't get canceled. There's so much fan interest and buzz behind it that the only way it could be is if they ******** it up terribly (which it so far looks like they won't) or HBO totally drops the ball.

Even then, we have to hope Martin actually finishes the series... let alone the next book.

Watching Lost tonight made me realize that it's been ages since I've been invested in a series that wasn't canceled prematurely.

As for Heroes... yeah, S1 was great. Then they went off into lala land. Take away powers, kill characters, revolve plots around pointless drama and "who am I?" emo shenanigans... yeah. Though Tim Kring apparently says he wants to do either a tv movie or miniseries to finish it off 'properly'. Who knows.

Man, why are all of my epic glows in the middle of the night?

"The max score for this game will be 4525/1131.
15 fish out of 17 will glow during the next game."

I'm too tired to stalk my tank for much longer. Nobody is likely to be around to grab it, anyways.

Edit: I was just gonna log off and the damned thing finally glowed. Yay.
