The problem with the computer lab is that the computers are out in the open though, so everyone can see what I'm doing. I'm in a lobby right now and they have the monitors tilted and under glass, with little plastic shades you can move over them for super privacy. But I think I'm gonna go to the computer lab.

I don't think I'll have cash to get it when it comes out. D:

Hah, yea, it looks pretty sick. But I've already preordered Pokemon. And I'm still too broke to buy any console games, Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2 are out and I don't have them. =(

ME2 kinda sucks. =/

Wanna read my story for class? It stems from a game idea I had and I'm turning it in today to be workshopped on Monday, most likely.

Now the bold and italics aren't here because I put it on Gaia, so it might be confusing. I used italics for "her" and bold for the evil character that the main character is after.


Obliterator
There was complete stillness and no sound to accompany it, other than my nearly silent breath. I took a few steps backwards and the sound echoed as my heavy boots clamped down upon the concrete. Step. Step. My sword slid elegantly from his large frame and my enemy slumped to the cold floor. Disgusting. No remorse. As I looked down at him I realized that I had come a long way. I wiped the wet blade along his tattered clothes and proceeded into the next room. Surely she must be there. After all, if not, what was the point?
Step.

Step.

I fell back in time.

It was our town’s holiday. “Hero’s Day.” The day from which we were to obtain ambition and compassion and just become a stronger community. It was the day the legends spoke of, when the Great Hero of the past had risen before. A hero of determination. The Hero that would not hesitate to save the day. The Hero had died long ago.
But he had been there.
Well, he was dead now.
He had taken her away. Her. The town’s most prized possession. Our “princess.” He took her and fled. The Great Hero could not save her. With time, legends become only words. Someone had to step up.
It was me.
I gave pursuit.

Stepstepstepstep.
My lifelong friend had come with me. Con. Two sets of steps? Con always wore white. Con was full of virtue. More so than even me. We had found the Great Hero’s blade; the one blade to vanquish evil. It was now my blade. Mine. The blade glowed with such a glorious light that it could cast a shadow on an object. But between the two of us, how many shadows were there? One
of his men attacked us. Con did not want me to kill. Con stood in my way
and I had killed him.
No remorse.
I had killed many more on my journey.
No remorse.

Step.

Step.

Step.

Present time now.
The final room. She must be inside. I entered. Darkness. My torch cast light upon the darkness; my shadow falling before me. It was long and reached from my feet all the way across the room where a large mirror stood against the opposite wall. I looked for my reflection but it was not there. Instead
Con stepped out of the mirror.
But why?

My shadow grabbed him by the ankles.
“No!” The words escaped my lips as I ran toward the figure.
Remorse.
The shadow grabbed him, and Con's brilliant white body was taken over and turned a most foul shade of shadow
and within seconds Con was…
was…
me.

Had he always been?

He drew his blade.
My blade.
Our blade.

Fight.

An equal adversary. My newfound remorse kept me weak. Or did it make him stronger? A fight of two relentless wills. The intensity sent fire through my blood. I wondered if he feel the same burn as I looked into his holes of eyes when our thirsty swords met.
Remorse.

The sword sunk into my chest. His sword. Ours. Mine.
Con had never been there.



I slumped onto the cold floor. Disgusting.
