Maara was so pleased someone else liked candy. Kaden didn't but Kaden was wierd. She pulled open a drawer, where Trina put Maara's suckers and gummi bears and things. "Go 'head! I like candy...I'm glad you do too!" Maara beamed at him again, as if liking candy was some sort of great accomplishment.

Arlen looked into the drawer and marveled over all of the treats in there. Catiously he reached in and took a lollipop. "Thank you Miss Maara," he says before sticking the sucker into his mouth and savoring it's sweet flavor.

"Me too," Arlen said, pulling the candy from his mouth to talk. "I like your ears."

"Okay," Arlen said, returning to his lollipop and briefly wondering if he did something wrong.

Arlen waved cheerfully to Lily, still sucking on his candy. Curious he walked over to the door to the kitchen and peeked in.

Tomo walked downstairs. His right arm was wrapped in a bandage and he was carrying a fluffy red cat in his arms. "Think on the bright side, Bai." He said to it. "Sure, your powers made the cut on my arm twice as long, but you were able to switch to a cat form on the first try. That's pretty impressive. And really, you have to remember that it'll take a lot of training to bend your powers like you want to." He said as he set him on the bartop. He poured some coffee in a saucer and set it in front of Baizou as he got himself a cup of tea. "And pleeeeease, let me stress to you one more time. Just because your powers are made for evil doesn't mean you have to use them for evil. You've got an extremely useful range of powers that, need I remind you, saved Ellie's life, twice."

Lily heard Tomo's voice, and poked her head out of the kitchen, offering him a weak smile. "Hello Tomo. I'm... going to make Arlen and I something to eat; would you like some too?" she asked, then blinked at the cat. "Is that... Bai?"
