hm.. so, after reading the stuff on the profile page, in the place where you can enter your CSS stuff.. it says: Quote: Your profile is defined as the content between the header and footer. The header includes navigation elements necessary for use by all users on Gaia. To modify a theme you may insert CSS that changes the appearance of your profile area while leaving the content unchanged. You may not misrepresent information on your profile in any way. This is important, failure to adhere to this will result in the disabling of your profile. Please note that your custom theme may break due to layout changes in the future. so. does this mean making new banners is not allowed? o.o

Well if they are referring to the header and footer objects in the coding, then we can have the custom banner images, as our CSS is displayed in the body of the code. n__n

As I understand it, you can change the appearance of your profile as much as you want so long as you don't change any of the functions, violate the PG-13 rating of the site, and/or make changes that will mislead people as to what they're looking at.
Example: uploading pr0n as your new background or faking log-in requirements.
If you want to be completely safe, just do a side-by-side comparison of the Block and Grunny official profiles and only make changes where Gaia has made changes, such as the font color, section icons, and background.

Hey Meriko, I have a question for you sweetie.
Now these bases with just wigs and such, are those ok to use with other artists as long as they leave your sig in them?
And if thats the case, could I get you to add your sig to my recolored hair base? ^_^

BridgeChan: If the edit shop is not listed in the FAQ as a pre-approved shop, please give me (or Kimi) a link to the shop so that we can give you a yea or nay. If we approve the request, then the only stipulation is that our sig remain on the graphic and visible. The bases that I gave you recently that is Gaian hair recolored I do not care if you get permission first or not. Feel free to use them wherever/however you wish.
