for the purpose of injuries to Malik. mostly. simply near fatal is the limit. T'hane is THE spirit that makes Malvolence. it's the vampiric/demonic essence of the blade. but he's not fairly cowardly to a degree. seriously injure malik, he has no problem hiding in teh sword to leave malik to deal with being wounded.

Kieran isn't very confrontational. He really only fights when you make him. He'd rather stand there defending the whole time than to strike in malice or somthing similar.
