Arlen came down the stairs slowly, looking around the room before continuing to the other side of the bar and looking around the corner into the kitchen.

"Since it opened if I recall correctly, If not a few days after." River said softly Sipping her coffee, "And yes The people here don't frown upon he of course I like it." River admitted dman the preceptive minds of kids these days. She could do the same thing if she ever so wished it.

"Ahh. That's pretty cool that you've been here so long." Sam commented before Arlen caught his eyes. "Hello there." he greeted the boy with a kind smile. "Do you need anything?"

Arlen jumped when he was spoken to and turned around. "I was gonna get some juice," he said innocently.

River blinked and turned around to gaze down at The boy, Arlen with a smile. She didn't even see him; maybe because he was so small it happened with Kaden at times as well. " Hello," River spoke after Sam asked if he wanted anything. Seeing as it looked that way. "Yeah, I suppose it is if you want to call it cool, Sam." River shruged and finished off her cup before sliding off the bar and setting the cup into the sink.

"Aw, it's okay! I didn't mean to scare you." Sam said, hopping down from the counter. "And I do in fact find it cool." He added with a small laugh. Sam had completely changed around Arlen. His manor around children was so much more gentle and... maternal.

River shruged and sighed walking towards the stiars. "I'm going to check on someone then go to my room. If you need anything Sam, Just come get me alright?" River questioned walking up the stairs in a silent manner and down the hallway with a twisted face of annoyence.

Sam nodded to River, "Okay!" He said before looking back to Arlen, "All right, then. I'm sorry for startling you." He rephrased, "Or were you jumping for exercise?" He teased, ruffling the younger boy's hair. "Do you need help with anything?" He asked, wondering if he could reach the glasses.

"Umm," Arlen said, looking around nervously. "Could you get some juice for me?" he asked finally, knowing he really wasn't supposed to climb on chairs to get glasses and not remembering quite where the juice was.

"Sure! No problem." Sam said as he reached into the cabinet to get him a clear glass. He walked over to the fridge and rooted around, vaguely remembering seeing the beverage there, somewhere. He pulled out the bottle and filled the glass. "Here you go." He said, handing the glass to Arlen.

"Thank you," Arlen said, taking the glass and carefully climbing up onto a barstool to drink it.

Sam nodded, "It's no problem." He said, walking over to the bar to sit down on a stool. "I'm Sam." He introduced, "What's your name?" He asked, resting his elbows on the bartop.
