Oy, I'm suddenly reminded that I have a question for a Canadian Harry Potter fan.
Are the Canadian versions of the books identical to the British versions? I saw them in a book store and noticed they had the british covers, but I don't know if the insides are un-edited.
The american versions suck, especially the first one, because all the british dialect was re-written, and I want to buy a box set of the REAL books hardcover when book 7 comes out.

I think they're the exact same thing. Maybe a slight difference, but mostly the same. OUR book are printed on "...Ancient-Forest Friendly paper..." (There's a quote in the beginning of each book from J.K. saying how she's happy we print on old-tree free paper)

Spiff. I ordered a box set of the "Adult Edition" of the first four books on Amazon.co.uk a long time ago. I had loads of fun tricking people into thinking that I had the uncensored Harry Potter smile
Only difference was the cover and the font though, unfortunatly. No hot Ron/Hermione action.

@Santa, Toothfairy, Easter Bunny, etc. topic: I believed in all that until my YOUNGER sister told me that they weren't real, I didn't believe her so I asked my mom and she told me the aweful news. On the upside being the oldest (youngest is 12 years younger than me) Santa and all the others were pulling through until after I was married. (I even got money when my bottom wisdom teeth were pulled). I was very careful to make sure that my youngest brother believed for as long as possible to make sure that Santa always had to pull though. 3nodding It wasn't until we were up at my Anunt's hose for Christmas Eve and my brother saw some presents "from Santa" though santa hadn't been the that he figured it out.Tiana Sidhe @Taylor: Let them believe in the legends as long as they are able. Keep the magic of childhood alive. 3nodding That's what I'm planning on with my children.Midnight3476 @Instrument topic: I Played flute for about 3 years but i had to quit because of exams, i tried taking up chello because the lessons where shorter but i also had to quit that...I think i shall take an instrumental lessons out of school 3nodding I played the flute too. I was like 4th chair out of about 27 when I left middle school. I picked up playing the piccolo in high school, but didn't finish out HS band because I didn't like the teacher.Meriko Kimini Care_e o.o i hate being a girl sometimes.. i dont wanna go do that stupid appointment ><;;; *patpat* Wait till you become a mother. Then the fun REALLY begins. wink Better a bit of discomfort every one to three years than neglecting your health and possibly facing The Consequences. *joins in the patpat*
Odds are once you become a mother, the extra fun will be counterbalanced by you not really caring anymore because you're so blissed out on the fact that you are a mother. X3 *adds to the patpat* Actually the "extra fun" wasn't counterbalanced for me until after delivery. I tell ya after deliver though I'm not so worried about my yearly visit.
And having a baby is worth going through it all. Obviously I was crazy enough to do it all a second time. wink
Meriko: Good luck with a new job! 3nodding CartoonKid I just saw Jenannen's order for Kimi. It sounds cool. I'd really like to have my avi sitting on the couch with my pretend kids on her lap whee That's actually for my new guild. ^_^ Kimi added the babies for the guild banner too heart
WOW! eek That is awesome!
