Vela blinked up at Sam. Why was someone always so eager to guess what she had not said? There was nothing to interpret, if she had not said anything! It was annoying. "I do not know Tomokazu." What she had just said was probably the most polite thing she'd uttered in years. It was true, and it held herself from insulting him in any way.

Sam nodded in understanding. "Ah. Of course you'd want to protect your sister." He said, "Because I'm sure even you have felt compassion, before." He murmured with a hint of a smirk. He prepared himself for any insults that were coming his way. He had probably earned them.

In moments the Coffee Finished itself and River looked to Vela with a small smile, But it wasn't meaningful at all- it was almost fake. " Now, What should I say when I demand your attention, Vela, Or Mi'lady?" River blinked her bored expression at her more then disinterested as she picked the pot up and walked over. "Coffee?" She questioned Onyx eyes staring blankly into her cup. What a Character, She doesn't speak much at all- River enjoyed that and her straitforwardness to the point River also much enjoyed this. Who knew someone could be like that. River looked at Sam with a raised brow said nothing.

Sam looked up at River and smiled, "Good afternoon, River." He greeted politely. The woman had quite successfully earned his respect and it showed quite a bit in the way he addressed her. "Do you need anything?"

She furrowed her brow, "Now, why would you be asking me that? That's what I'm suppose to ask you. But to answer your question no, I do not I have my coffee." She spoke still holding the very hot pot waiting for Vela, if she didn't say anything River wouldn't fill her cup simply put the pot back. " How Are you this afternoon then? Not like there is really much you can do." River twitched the Kitchen, was it still a mess? God she hoped not.

Vela blinked again. He was doing it, more. She chose not to answer him, as she nodded to River. Extending her cup, Vela looked back to Sam. What a character...

River blinked and poured into the cup until it was filled again with a small nod setting the pot back finally. It was one thing to ignore people but to listen and chose not to answer? Quite interesting. "There you are." River mumbled to her she didn't seem the type for conversation so River wasn't going to talk to her either. If She wanted to be spoken to She would have to speek first.

Sam shrugged at River, "Beat you to it," He said, taking another bite of his toast. "But thank you for hypothetically offering." he said, leaning back against the cabinets once more.

Vela watched, and chose to stay silent. She was not disgusted, nor angered with them. It was just the way she looked around.. Not like she was trying to be that way. Siping at the fresh coffee, she made no motion to express whethere it was more or less enoyable than the last cup.

"I suppose you did." River sipped on her coffee, the hot black looking Liquid pleasing her senses greatly. " But there is not A thank you in the world that would make me feel like I am doing the right thing. So there really was no need to thank me Sam." River pointed out it was clear she was more mellowed out but then again that's what days like these did to her. "Hmm, you meet anyone of interest to you?"

Sam laughed and shrugged, "If you're speaking to me, I met Vela, here." He said, gesturing to the woman, "I find her quite interesting... And I met this robot boy, Caradoc. He was pretty cool, too."

"Ah, Caradoc, I see. He's to be married as well I think. Kaden was Estatic about it." River point out rolling her eyes a bit. "He's very fond of the robot boy so much so that he calls him Aniki? I think that's what he kept saying to me Gloating about it." River shivered a bit eyeing him a little. "So Sam sorry there isn't much to do around here. I know it's hard to find something pleasing to do. Not like talking to me is any fun." River smirked and slid onto the bars counter to relax.

"Well, I sort of like the slow I-don't-have-to-run-from-anyone lifestyle." Sam explained, "I like it like this. And yes, River, even you're interesting to talk to." He added with a tiny smile. "I quite like it here."

"I'm sure, well It's certainly break I suppose." River pointed out with a small smile emptying her cup. Sighing she set it down taking the pot in her hands and pouring herself another cup of coffee. " Alot of people say they like it here, I think because they feel it's safe. I'm sure My room is the only not-so-safe place in this Inn, and even then it's hardly dangerous at all most of the time." River pointed out tapping her lips in thought."No matter, glad you are enjoying yourself here."

"Well, as much as you seem to want to deny it, you seem to enjoy yourself here, too." Sam pointed out, brushing dark blonde bangs away from his eyes. "You've been here a long time, haven't you?" He guessed.
