Lady Eevee Aileeya Umexchan Lady Eevee LOOK WHAT I DID!  Is that a legal move? Absolutely not. stare Scrabble, like crossword, must form connecting columns and rows--and all places where words do intersect must themselves be legal words. Scrabble's one of my all time favorite games! 3nodding whee I finally "treated" myself, and bought these fine glasses (the Nice Style for Work) just BEFORE the newest RIG, and evidently they were re-released Sibyl's Incantation also came down 10k lower than the one I just bought for the female mule...blah. rolleyes oh well. well according to the rules on the box it came in, it is a legal move so i'm going to listen to the box. ?? Ah...I'm sure if you check the part labeled "objective" you'll find that words have to be interlocking....the word "vendetta" on the board pictured above, is clearly not connected to any other words in play, therefore, it is most certainly not a legal move....Scrabble is one of our family favorites and has been for generations--don't trust me--see for yourself, it's GOT to be clearly explained in your included instructions, and I'm sure I'll be able to find a link on Hasbro (though I'm a bit ticked at them for having taken away my beloved Scrabulous atm) lol--I actually got out my Deluxe Scrabble set to take a picture to send when my hubby suggested just sending a link (D'uh!) no doubt MUCH easier--one sec...... HA! That was NOT easy at ALL....spent like 15 minutes on their site looking for a simple link....and ended up with PDF...here's the link anyway: http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Scrabble_(2003).pdf Listen, I'm sorry if I came off as too abrupt when I said "absolutely" and I'm sorry if I seem nit-picky by going off after the official rules and all...I'm certainly not intentionally being offensive, I'm kinda surprised that something as BASIC as this was actually difficult to find....it's very clearly and succinctly phrased in the rules that came along with my set....but if you're totally unfamiliar with the game, I can easily understand how you might feel offended at my bruskness. Please accept my apologies if I have offended. heart

He's talking about the second one now--but he's talking way faster than I can type in my current condition anyway...(I've got a toothache, and I'm on an anti-biotic and codeine....I HATE pain medication...makes me feel lousy with nausea and my judgment is definitely impaired.) Anyway--AVG is good, Zonealarm etc. Good Luck....I was hoping that if you told her that someone else's Mom mentioned AVG etc, she might try it....or at least look into it.

Cool! This weekend, we'll be seeing cousins for the first time in years--but they're coming to us (Yay!) ....just wish I felt better. xp
