She giggled along with his nervous laughter a little, she thought it was just adorable that she made him nervous. He was very warm and she wasn't sure if she should be concerned or not, even given his assurances that he was feeling alright. Then came his own concern for her and well, she couldn't say she blamed him, she was terribly pale, fairly thin and of corse cold but it wasn't anything to worry about. In fact it was her turn to laugh lightly placing her left over his right and gaining a pale pink rose color in her own cheeks.
"Its nothing to worry about, my fingers are always cold because I'm cold-blooded." Yet another trait from her father, who was of coarse a large flying reptile. Suddenly Acacia felt like they were being watched and heard the soft humming of a woman nearby. She turned her head to find that it was Judy who was standing a little ways away watching them with a huge smile on her face.
"Oh! I'm sorry! I was coming to check on you both and then you just looked so sweet together I sort of didn't want to interrupt. Can I get the two of you anything?" Acacia was a little surprised, she didn't realize they looked like they were together, or maybe Judy had just assumed. She supposed it didn't really matter, strangers had the right to think what they wanted.

Oh, alright.

Maximos saw the blush on her cheeks, the rosy tint casting a smirk sliding across his face. His eyes meeting hers rather deeply.

Well, not entirely cold.

Those eyes...stunning really was the best way to describe them. He didnt know what exactly to say. Or how much time had passed until Judy was exposed. Maximos met her with a wide smile, passing of anything and everything she saw with a smile.

A refill please...

He said, sliding his right hand from beneath Acacia's and shaking his empty cup. Then immediately looking back to Acacia, grinning.

Anything for you?

The girl would find the rose to be as one might expect, thornless and complete. From the subtle fragrance of the thing down to the softness of the petals, the meaty albeit thin nature of the stalk and each little bump of its composition. It was by all means a white rose, carrying with it one simple oddity. A light touch of minty joy, just enough to add flavor and keep back the touch of decay.

"No killling, you. And no torturing either, until I've bought you dinner. Cross my heart and hope to die, again." KB teased as one might expect, his hand criss-crossing over his chest. The girl was proving herself to be at times a hassle, but otherwise alright. Simply put KB was too impatient for the skittish type, and was used to being two steps ahead of where they were in regards to most matters regarding women.

He waited then, to see if this answer was enough for the girl to loosen up slightly. She had an air to her that attracted KB in one form or another, drawing him towards something he couldn't quite put his finger on. He should've been spending his time tracking down Sun, yet had been distracted.

"So cliche', though, this is but our first date." KB rolled his eyes playfully before sliding close, a suave movement accented by supernatural skill. In the most silly display of a romantic novel his left arm would reach out to loop about her waist, almost as if he were posing for a camera angle of sorts. Of course this charming little fiasco would be offset by a gentle tap upon her right innermost thigh, his right hand dancing away from the spot even as he flashed her an innocent smile. This smile was followed with a mischievious wink, before he leaned in closely to her exposed flesh.

He feared not the ease of taking advantage, his position giving himself to her as much as she did him. There he would close upon his prey, cold flesh pressing close as his lips tested the softness of her skin. Despite the majority of him being icy his lips were oddly warm, his breath hot upon her. Provided she didn't try to escape him for his sudden intimacy and affection, his fangs would gently graze upwards along the length of her neck.

And so he would, enjoying the cocktail that assaulted his senses. The various smells were pleasant to his dulled senses, awakening what little joy he could find in such things. Though there were other things that made him grasp her closer to him, his eyes widening slightly at his own lapse in control.

Upon the piercing of her skin and the taste of her, he became enthralled. It was as if he'd found that which he sought and clung to it, hungrily. Like a leech he would hold her, his free arm wrapping about as well. His grip as like a gentle vice, his mouth firmly affixing to her as he needily sucked from the exposed flesh. His eyes would fall half-lidded as he savored the thickness of the fluid, the energy therein binding him in ways he hadn't thought.

The nails upon his skin were distant, the pleasure there lost to the dizzying sea he'd fallen into. Like most vampiric beings his bite would cause the prey a flood of sensual feelings, a design meant to overload the senses with very good feeling one could or couldn't imagine. It seemed that somehow KB had caught himself in this web, and there he found himself helpless.

"Says you..." The vampire replied huskily, eyes darting back and forth in their sockets. The dark stains upon his lips glimmered slightly as the flesh beneath them quivered, KB's body shaking in delight. He seemed to have forgotten entirely the girl before him, his stature withdrawing to that of some crazed animal. He would continue this way for a few moments, his tongue flickering out to savor each and every drop.

The familiarity would eventually set in, and with it a demented giggle. This otherwise jovial sound seemed to rise eerily, until soon enough this playful thing had become little more than a haunting, loud maniacal laughter. Echoing in the alleyways and streets the fruits of KB's inner joke would continue, the breathless nature of the beast suggesting it might carry on for eternity.

The name would draw him from his own little world, and into this reality he found a partner of sorts. Whether she wanted to help him or not she would be, as KB would be keeping an eye on her. "Yes." He answered simply, though his confirmation likely meant little to her. "I'm going to find him." He promised to himself, and perhaps a bit to her as well. Sunstrike would be KB's in due time, as soon as he managed to pry him free of whatever had taken him.
