As his wings left him, they gave a cry. Not one of obedience, but one of sadness. His wings didn't want to part, but they knew they had to.

"Just like our first fight huh?" Quint said, grounded. "But now however I want you to do something for me." He began to crack the various knuckles on his hands, "Promise me, no holding back. I don't want any mercy until the very end, and I hope you'll say the same to me. We've gotten a lot stronger since the last time, I want to see our best!"

He then began to reacquaint himself with the ground, and being on it most of the time, taking quick steps forwards and back, then to his sides.

Finally. I'm ready for ya. The question stands; is she ready for me?

Quint looked at the attack coming at him and frowned a little. She would have to do a lot better.

Using one hand, he formed his own fireball, throwing it up at hers. They met between them, and the explosion from the Soul Fist threw dust everywhere, clouding Quint inside.

A small ruffle of tree branches came from one of the taller trees from right below morri's position, and a shimmer of Aonice's long black hair disspeared into some green bush..

"... Well I guess it's no fun staying up here if it's not getting anything accomplished, and you have yet to attack me, darling. I think I'll come down to meet you!"

Morrigan jetted to a position directly over Quint. Then, standing straight up, she used a portion of her wings to wrap her legs in a cocoon with a sharp tip and then shot straight down into where Quint was standing.

Morrigan had narrowly missed Quint with her spiked cocoon, but once she did, she quickly took off after him. She wasn't using her boosters so that she could keep her wings ready for other things, so he actually ran a bit faster than she did. She was about 5 meters away from him as he launched his energy attack, after which Morrigan quickly wrapped her wings around her arms, formed a makeshift drill, and dove into the ground headfirst at a forward angle to avoid the crescent while still advancing towards him. She popped up out of the ground and, now about a meter above the ground and a meter away from him, quickly split her drill-bit into two dozen spears, some of which shot straight towards him, and others that curled around to attack him from the side, top, bottom, and back.

Morrigan retracted her spears and boosted forward, away from Quint. "Is that so?" Morrigan shouted back. "Then perhaps we'll have to fix that "little" problem!"

Morrigan stretched out her arms and legs and tilted her head back. Soon, her entire mansion began to rumble. Bats flew out in droves from every window and door, and even Quint's former bats came flying quickly to land on her. In an instant her entire body was covered in the vermin. Eventually, Morrigan resurfaced, the bats having melded into her wings, which now had a span of about forty meters and were each as tall as a house.

Morrigan chuckled. "There are so many stories that make it sound so easy, but heed these words: you should never underestimate the power of many against one. There are now thousandsof minds here that realise that this battle will not go well for you."

"Ha! I'll dismiss the mediocrity of that retort to the fact that your mind must be concentrated on the battle."

Morrigan grouped her wings together and began forming roots in the ground, which supported the subsequently formed thirty-meter vertical pole and comfort chair at the top in which Morrigan now sat looking down on Quint, legs crossed and smirking. The leg-rest at the end of the chair served as a makeshift shield for Morrigan's body for attacks from below.

"Fast, eh? It's an impractical use for my minions, I know. But it's highly symbolic, very comfortable, and I've got plenty more to spare!" Morrigan shouted down to Quint. She had begun to laugh at him while contemplating just how she would deal with him.

"Dammit." Quint found himself saying, the urgency of the battle rising. It was now that he started to really take the fight seriously, his target over thirty feet in the air. Maybe if he convinced her to come down..

Cancelling his last spell, he began a new one, his eyes still fixed on Morrigan, but some attention was given to the wings, which could turn to be the things he really needed to watch out for.
