Leo nodded, "that would be the most logical place to start. i'm sure Hasta will be moving about in the green, doing what he can to help. Pasa as well. we could go find then, or summon them, either would work."

Oliver came down as his master spoke about something working. he bowed quickly, "I am sorry for sleeping in!" he saw the master was already eating and felt he had failed, "is there anything you need?"

Leo smiled at the boy, "it's ok, dear, really. i need you to eat, there is a plate in the fridge. make sure to eat your fill. good morning, again, Yashweh, are you hungry?" Oliver translated quickly and Leo waited for the answer.

Nix shook her head, "it's ok! if i expected you to remember, i wouldn't have asked! I'm Nix, Leo's little sister. Nice to meet you again!" she took Chelsea to where the single mena and women that lived in the dorms ate their communal meals, they took turns cooking, but those who liked doing such things volunteered when it wasn't their turn as well. "here, while you are staying here, this is where you will eat, unless you are with us and then we will feed you. i heard you've been taking care of my nephews." she walked Chelsea to the line that lead to the food, but staid with her, nodding to the inclined heads of the people around. it was a sign of respect for her family, but also for the fact that she had acted as their leader to the best of her ability since her birth. "they really like you, so i wanted to come make friends."

Oliver lowered his eyes, "i am not hungry, Sir."

Leo frowned, "ok, but if you become hungry promise me you will eat. otherwise, i think you should spend the day with Yashweh, help him and his family out since you can translate."

Oliver bowed, "Yes, sir. Master says i should spend the day with you and your family to help."

"for him it's animal instincts that tell him so, for me i get sort of images and feelings from them. they like your ears," Nix giggled and shook her head, "they want to chew on them, but that's what babies do to things they like, right?" she stepped back while Chelsea went through the line, waiting for her to finish before walking with her to an open table. "oh, i should warn you, i'm a mind reader. i usually block people out, but sometimes there are things i just can't block, like if someone is thinking something really, really hard, i hear it too. i won't read your mind without permission, though. just thought i should tell you now so that you don't hear about it later and get all suspicious."

Oliver looked from Yashweh, to the King's ears, knowing he wished a translation. "I-um," did he tell them? would he get into trouble for being offered such a position? he bit his lip, his hands clasping the hem of this shirt and pulling it down as he worried over what to do.

Leo saw his dilemma, and though he didn't know the reason behind it, he still understood that Oliver needed time to himself, "if you don't want to, you don't have to. you can go to the library instead, there should be books in Yashweh's language if you want to show him that instead."

Oliver breathed a small sigh of relief, he didn't have to decide right now. "yes, sir. master just meant for the day, he doesn't know about-t the offer." he spoke softly, his eyes down, []b"but he said we could go to the library and look at documents and books in your language if you want."

Nix nodded, "good, most people freak a little when they hear about me." she grimaced, "at least outsiders do. Ipo didn't like me much because i knew what he was thinking. he was a plotter, i liked him, though. he didn't hie what he was feeling, but there was darkness to him that scared me. i was sad when he passed, is Kashi doing ok? he and tsume are lovers now, right?"

Oliver lead Yashweh out, bowing again to his master before closing the door, "a library is a place where books and documents are stored and taken care of. the one here in Falia is huge, and inside of a tree! several, actually, at least i was told that." he smiled a little and walked slowly down the stairs, seeing Yashweh was nervous. "see that huge tree across the green? that's the library entrance."

Leo smiled, "remember when i was first given to you? you asked me what i wanted and i asked for a book." he looked at Elliot, "you seemed so surprised, but the only thing i could ever imagine wanting was being allowed to read something freely without being punished for it."

Nix frowned, "maybe i will visit the princesses and see him. we made friends, so maybe he'll feel better with company..." she thought it over. "Al and Lewis probably will want an update on what is going on as well. hmm, what do you think, Chelsea, should i go over?"

Oliver shook his head, "i don't know, but i think they have some kind of protection." he walked with Yashweh across the green, excited to see the library again. though he still couldn't read very well, he had enjoyed the quiet peace it offered. "there are more documents than can be counted! you will see." he opened one of the doors and held it for the young prince, letting him go in first to see.

Leo looked down, "yes, well-" he smiled, but it was painful to remember things back then, "for a bentien to even be able to read was punishable by whipping at the very least, every master did so and worse when he learned i was able. to ask for a book was as close to a death sentence as i could manage at the time." he looked at Elliot, "but you gave me back what i love most, besides you and the boys of course. i can never repay you for all you have done for me." he stood and kissed Elliot before taking their dishes to the sink and washing them.

Nix nodded, "just as soon as i make sure you are settled in, i'll head over. i'm sure Pasa wouldn't mind taking me, or maybe Hasta when Al finishes the papers and summons him."

Oliver walked to one of the shelves and pulled out a book. he opened it and showed it to Yashweh, "they are right here. all of these are the documents, or 'books'."

Leo smiled, "if neither of us can figure out how to pay the other, i guess we must be even." he kissed the top of Elliot's head, teasing him a bit, before carefully stepping away. he picked up Yuki and straightened the baby's clothing, "time to go find uncle hasta."

Nix laughed, "This is Falia, i can't imagine there being any need to 'swipe' anyone." she got a strong feeling of worry and desire when Chelsea mentioned shifting, was she not able to? she was a full blood bear, she should be able to shift, but maybe she just didn't know how. "this is your first time in Falia, i just want to make sure you know where everything is before i leave you to your own devices. we'll find Leo and Elliot when you finish eating and go from there."

Oliver smiled at Yashweh's reaction, "i told you. there are more than you could ever count here. they say have books from every nation that is and ever has been in existance." he saw one of the librarians, a dark green skinned woman with hair that sort of stood out from her head before falling freely down past her waist. it gave a soft sort of rustling sound as she moved, and looked like cat's whiskers. she wore a strip of cloth around her waist and one across her chest, but that was it, exposing he long, sleek body. "Miss?" he spoke softly, his eyes lowered as he approached, "do you have any books for the Latian tribe?"

She looked at Yashweh and smiled warmly, crouching down to be at eye level, "we have records of old legends a young man like yourself might find interesting. would you like me to show you?" she had two canine teeth that could be seen when she spoke, and the inside of her mouth, including her tongue, was a blue green rather than pink.

Leo rolled his eyes, "you aren't one to talk, dear," he knew how much Elliot was bothered by his height and usually made sure to not comment on it, but Elliot was the one that brought it up first. "besides, in his true form, he's rather large." Leo walked outside and held the door for Elliot before walking down to the green and looking around, "now to guess which direction to go first."

Nix nodded, "alright, but i have to check in with Leo and mom and dad anyways. can't just up and disappear, can i?" she smiled as she stood, "i wasn't worried about you causing trouble, you know. i just wanted to help out."
