Nephilis's eyes widened and he smiles. "Wow...Samara, I want you to know, I love you so much....right now. It's been you...it's always been you by my side..." he coughs and a trill of blood follows. "I want you to do...what I couldn't. I want you to live forever...never die. Never leave your family and friends behind...like I have." His eyes slowly shut as he nears death. The blood soaks his pants now and his body grows colder, his hair now turning white.



"Yumiko, I know." Alastor said, lifting a hand signaling her to stop. As he watches, his smile becomes a remorseful grimace. The sight before him reminded him of when he lost his mother only to have Marcove come and help. Samara, now pregnant with Neph's baby, has no one. "This victory is hollow, but necessary. Let's go to Alloy. This bores me now."

Samara wanted to make Nephilis fight...to force him. But he had fought so hard for so long, there was no fight left in him. So she did the only thing she could...make his last moments as peaceful as possible. Taking the sleeve of her dress, she wiped the blood from his cheek. "I promise," she said softly. She laid next to Nephilis, holding him close. "I love you forever, Nephilis," she murmured. The tears were still streaming down her cheeks as she rested her head on his shoulder. "And thank you. My life...Lunia's life...Tenshi's life...are all better because of you. This baby will know that he or she was loved by you, even in the brief moment you knew them." She smiled softly, leaning in and giving Nephilis a soft, yet lingering kiss, taking his cold hand and pressing it to her stomach, so he could hopefully feel a small movement of their still forming child.

Samara held Nephilis closer and tighter as his breaths became slower and shallower. She was trying to will him to hold in, impossible though she knew it was. Smiling softly, Samara repeated the name in a whisper. "Rouvellion. It is perfect," she said. She picked up his hand once again, holding it in hers. As his breaths ceased, so did hers for a moment. She felt like her heart had been ripped out. "Nephilis..." she breathed as tears poured out again. "Rest well, my love," she murmured, pressing a kiss to his cold lips. She let them linger for a long moment before curling into his arms. She didn't want to let go...not just yet. "I love you..."

Samara sat up when she saw Tenshi. She wiped some of the tears from her face. "Tenshi..." she said sadly. She didn't want him to see Nephilis like this...beaten and broken. Seeing him trying to charge his chi, she began to tear up again. She reached out, placing a trembling hand on those of her son. "Tenshi, sweetheart...he's gone..."

(( That was a beautiful moment crying I knew it was going to happen and I still felt something when Nephilis and Samara were having their moment. ))

The Guildmaster looked at Alastor, his hand tightened into a fist even though it was part of his contract he still felt horrible. " Alastor.....was his death necessary? He had no aura left he was clearly not a threat. " The Guildmaster said trying to plead with the man that he could call an ally. " And now what? I have killed countless people but this feels...wrong. " He said remembering all the happy moments he had when he to was married. " Alastor, is there no other way to change this world? " He asked hoping for the not obvious answer.

(( Alright I have to get these two back into the Rp, it's turning out that I'm completely focusing on the Guildmaster and not my original characters. ))

Plague's mist swirled around the scene with Samara and Nephilis. Leon stepped out from the mist his eyes a little red from rubbing them. He wasn't as old as the others and even though he hadn't known Nephilis the best this hurt him deeply. " Samara...I'm so sorry. " He said as he rubbed his left eye with his sleeve.

Plague to stepped from the mist as it cleared into the wind. " We were unable to protect the family that we had sworn to protect. Lady Samara the doors of Sanctuary will always be open to your family and friends. " Plague said he wasn't very good with words and it seemed to him like that was the only thing he could say, after all most assassins didn't need to be amazing talkers.

Alastor looked up to the Guildmaster and just stares. There was no answer he could give him besides the one he didn't want to hear, then again, he didn't want to say it. Although it was wrong, it was necessary and to him, that's all that mattered. He walks up to the destroyed gun and looks at it, using Nephilis ability of Intuiive Aptitude to figure out how to rebuild the cannon. "I have Nephilis' power. That let's you know it went pretty decent. We finally won, but not fully." He walks over to her witih Nas still in tow. "Your brother has the Residue and I know where he's headed. He's going to give it to Riko to keep Yumiko out for good. Where is Riko right now?"



Marcove looks over his shoulder in the direction of Tenshu, feeling the lowest dip in aura he's ever felt before. "There's something...going on in the windy city. Alyss, Kendal, maybe we can go see and get the scoop from Nephilis himself?" Marcove stands and stretches. "I needed the vacation."
