After walking for a few silent minutes (he need to collect his thoughts), Blake turned slowly and stared grim-faced at Vexis. "I don't know what all you know, but Marth is in a bad place right now. These powers of levitation... are his sister's. But if I have them, that must mean that she's... dead," Blake explained, only shaking his head in a feeble attempt not to cry.
"Neither of us know too much about her powers, but apparently, he knows enough to think that she must be dead...."
Marth was still utterly devastated, to put it in terms comprehensible to humans. The feeling that Marth was experiencing was so singularly unique and powerful that the closest thing to it for humans was 'regret.'

Vexis dropped her head slightly at this news, "Oh..." was all she said at first, still low and uncertain in tone. The Synith tried to hide her face from this stranger now, she was feeling the emotional pain of these people. The one thing that Vexis really hated about herself above everything else, was her ability to dive into others' feelings. She couldn't control this ability, either, Vexis just automatically seemed to pick up on random emotions at random times, from random people. Even if she didn't know the person, she could still feel what they felt within a very short while of being around them. This was a common trait in Syniths, being creatures of energy and unity with others. Only, a very lucky (or unlucky) few have been able to develop their ability to the point of being able to read minds. Vexis wasn't able to read minds yet, however, her sister Nomiko can.
"I'm sorry about that..." Vexis said numbly, trying to fight back the tears in her eyes. Vexis took out a small blade from her pocket, and slashed it hard against the palm of her hand. She let out a muffled cry of pain, her almost blackish colored blood started to pool up in her palm. But this was the only thing she could do to distract herself when diving into a person's mind...

((Into Blake's mind? Or Marth's? I have a very weird idea for Blake that would probably... completely nullify any emotion sensing. But it's still conjecture at this point, so I object to nothing. XD))
"Yeah..." Blake replied. Then he looked out of the nearest floor-to-ceiling window. "Want to go explore what's arguably the biggest ship in existence?"

((Both, Vexis picks up things from the energy around her. So, whoever is putting off the most negativity into the energy, would be the one that shes technically be considered 'diving into.' xd ))
Vexis concentrated on the wound in her palm, and it seemed to heal up almost instantaneously. "...I have nothing better to do, so might as well. This will just add yet another place to my 'has seen within 1,989 years of life' list..." Surprisingly, she didn't sound all that thrilled. Oh well, apparently things start to become less interesting after having already seen a lot during your unusually longer life span.
"Oh, and if something attacks you or anyone else while we're out there, just uhh...scream loudly to let me know. I can heal a lot of injuries...except for poison, or anything else that's injected directly into the bloodstream. I tried once, and, well, it worked a bit too well...I uh, kinda made the person's blood veins erupt in the process...eheh..."

"Good... to know..." Blake trailed off, turning to walk towards the other end of the docking platform, in the opposite direction as that which Marth was in. Blake was expecting a long catwalk-platform-type of device, but then he realized that they had landed inside the bigger ship, so they only needed to exit as they normally did.
Once Blake was outside of the Dark Eagle, he was immediately lost. Even with the Eagle behind him, he had no idea how to navigate this massive beyond massive place.
"...Just pick a direction?" Blake suggested in an almost comical, if-it-weren't-so-freaking-in-your-face type of way.

The Synith had not followed Blake, no, that was too easy, Instead she decided to go misty and appear waaaaay ahead of him outside the Ascendant Dragon. Vexis was off on her own on a completely separate metallic platform quite a bit above the rest of the floor, all around her was just empty air and the floor about 25 feet below. She glanced around the vast hangar cluelessly, then pointed to the right. "I think the Bridge is over that way..." Vexis thought to herself at first, but realized that it sounded a bit weirder than normal thinking....more echo-y. "What the hell? Why are my thoughts echoing...????" Her mouth wasn't moving, and yet Vexis was clearly speaking out loud into the room. Had Blake been to hear this too, or was she just finally losing her sanity? "Er...are you hearing this too?"
Vexis foolishly walked right off the edge of the platform, forgetting how high up she was. But the Synith turned herself to mist just before hitting the ground two inches below her now, then re-solidified again. "Wow...that really gets the adrenaline rushing..." She said out loud this time, looking a bit freaked out.

Blake stared at Vexis. His first thought was not 'Are you all right?' but 'I can read minds!' Suffice to say, he really could not.
"Hey! What are you thinking about right this second!?" Blake called to her, then quickly waved his hands. "No, wait, let me guess--you're thinking of potato chips, aren't you?"

Vexis just watched, confusion visible on her face. "Um, no...at least, I don't think I am....
Wait, what the hell are 'potato chips' anyway?" The Synith replied silently again, still looking confused. Although, she was certain that this confusion was shared by both of them. "God...he looks like such a dork from here..." Vexis thought, not realizing until it was too late that was an out-loud-thought. She immediately sprung to her feet, and inched her way further into the ship, escaping the dude who would probably get mad shortly...

Blake blinked as Vexis just ran away, brows furrowed in confusion. After a minute of thought, he finally slapped his forehead and laughed. "It was me thinking of potato chips! Doi!"
Then Blake got lost.

"You're evolving, Vexis. You're learning of new talents that previously lay dormant in your subconscious, and I am helping you to awaken them." An unknown voice echoed out into her head, although Vexis couldn't figure out if it were male or female, human or alien.
Vexis stopped further down the massive hangar, clinging to the wall. "Well, stop it!! What if I don't want to 'evolve'!?!" She shouted loud enough for it to echo against the walls, mimicking what it sounded like when she 'silently spoke.'
"You don't want to be better than the rest, Vexis? You don't want to be able to defend yourself against your sister, and be able to beat her? You could have divine power at your disposal, anything that stood in your way would be vanquished. All we need to do, is to completely integrate. Vexis, all you need to do is accept my existence, and make me a part of you."
Vexis let herself sink to the floor, sitting on the cold metallic surface. She seemed troubled, confused, pissed off, cold (physically), and had an empty feeling in her center...oh, wait, that might have just been hunger (considering that she hadn't had a meal for at least a week...Syniths didn't need nearly as much as humans). "But...I'm fine like this! I'm just fine like I am right now..."
"This is a dangerous universe, Vexis, and you could use all the power available. Oh, also, stop speaking out loud, I can hear you just fine, and you'll look like a complete nutcase to your comrades."

Blake fell into a hole. A randomly-placed, vague, nondescript hole, that came out of the middle of nowhere. He also conveniently forgot his new-found powers of levitation and telekinesis. The only sound that could be heard echoing throughout the hangar was: "WHOOOOOAAAAAH!"
Back inside the Dark Eagle, Marth suddenly shook his head with a sigh. He had an almost sort of sixth sense for being able to know when Blake was in trouble.

Jad stopped just at the doorwar to the halls of the Jupiter, "the hell? where did he come out? the base of the ship is sealed unless... airlocks..." Jad sighed, "Why would he open an airlock?!"
