The entire area looked exquisitely foreign, with canals built in an odd Venice fashion. "These," Moé said, "are the marketplace canals for my homeworld's kingdom Niflheim, also called 'Nifl'." She dragged him past other vendors, who were selling tools of unknown use. Human children with their faces painted and questionable genetics were being served fish-shaped confectionery from a large cart with spoke-wheels, and a man with half his hair shaved off behind the counter collected money and handed fish to them. "If you want anything, just ask!"

"I am quite fine as it is." Caleb replied as his head wandered to look at the new area he had been brought to.

Moé finally found her 'block', but then stopped. Somebody else was there. Pouting gruffly, she looked over at a nearby bronze castle. "Come on, Sir. I need to talk to the Prince first..." There was a nearby wooden drawbridge, and went to cross it, expecting Caleb to either wait or follow her.

Caleb followed her quickly. "...May I ask why you must?" He stared up at the bronze castle as they walked.

Moé paused. "He's the one who gives vendor's licenses. Since I've been gone for three months, my license has probably been revoked. I need to ask for a new one." There were about five heavily-armored guards at the door, and they tensed, but upon seeing Moé they moved aside. Moé bowed respectfully, and then she went inside. It was an expansive throne room, and Cirruleic sat very boredly on his throne. He immediately brightened upon seeing her, though. "M-Moé!... and friend.", his tone instantly souring as he shot Caleb a very, very vicious glare that Moé didn't notice.

The glass covered holes showed nothing inside but pitch black as he started back at the prince. Caleb did not reply, mostly in point, he had nothing to say to him.

Moé grinned. "This is Sir! I'm learning under him in alchemy, and I help with housework." "You always had a fondness for thing. If only you liked magic, I could teach you instead." "Oh, nah!" "Shame, really. I don't think he's even that appreciative..." "Oh, by the way, I came about my vending pass." "I'd be much more than delighted." "How kind of you!"

Almost began to speak outrage for the prince ridiculing him, for no reason whatsoever, but, he held in the urge. His glance went off of Cirruleic and to his student.

Cirruleic began to fill out various vender forms. "By the way, don't anonymously prank call me. I can recognize your voice." "B-But--!" "I know that it's a tradition passed down, from Mahi to you. I just wish you''d find other methods of entertainment in the search for that guy who you needed to save, since he apparently can't defend himself from a bunch of old women." "Hey! Any force, in large numbers, is lethal! Especially ubiquotously-watching time-traveling old women!" "Whatever. It just clearly tells me that said human isn't deservant of such attention." "They would've killed Grandma Mahi! You were best friends with her..." "So?," he said harshly. "She died anyway."

Caleb had enough of this public mocking of himself. "You taunt myself, may I ask why? I have not completed anything in any matter to change my alignment to cold." Caleb said.

Cirruleic scratched at the front of his teeth with his thumb's nail. "Tch. I merely think Moé could've aspired better. She's a student and a maid at nineteen years of age...! That whole rescue mission ruined her future. you should be ashamed of yourself." Moé only got half of what he was implying. "No, really, I have a job here selling bullets that I weld myself!"

Cirruleic smirked. "Admit it. You're a foolish human, leading her into a inevitable death. I smell Azrael's breath around you, his pool cue aimed at your chest*... And she'll die as my dearest Mahi did, clenching the corpse of her human, mortal husband before he took her soul to Hell too." [[*Azrael is The Reaper. His 'scythe' is actually a bright red pool cue.]] He roared. "And to think that you were content in an illusion where she was a subservient animal! I--" Moé raised her hand. "--Not to interrupt, but how... did you know about that? Only Ann, Kokopelli, Lovelace, and Robin know about that." His entire body froze.

"...I wi- must be off now, good marrow." Caleb turned and the heels of his shoes clicked on the marble floor as he exited the castle, mad with content rage.
