Halo ReconThe next Halo game. Well, other then Halo Wars. But that is done by Ensemble Studios while as Recon is Bungie's new little baby. But for Halo we have Mythic map pack! Woot!

The game looks awesome.
I read a bit more about it on Wiki after watching
the trailer and I guess it's suppost to be the last
installment to the Halo trilogy.

I LOVE Halo, but I don't want them to drag the trilogy out so far as to where we're making games to depict the story of a grunt who gets his cookie torn up by the chief.
I mean, really. There's only so much you can do.

Agreed, but I would have liked to
see Bungie create a game that takes place after the
events of Halo 3 since they kinda gave us a cliffhanger
with Master Chief floating through space.

Night, it would be nice, but think about it. What would it turn into?
Master Chief lands on alien artifact. *Sound Familiar?*
Master Chief tears up grunt a**. *Sound Familiar?*
Master Chief meets alien. *Sound Familiar?*
Master Chief encounters flood infestation. *Sound Familiar?*
Master Chief must save world from flood and defeat crazy dude. *ULTRA Familiar.*
It'll get repetitive. Even if it's forerunner, then what would the game be?
Forerunners are bad.
*Forerunners rape Chief's a**.*
Forerunners are good.
*Forerunners make Chief their b***h and go rape flood.*
I'm glad we're getting the insight to the ODST side of the story and a..."Other Side"...from Halo 2. Instead of chasing prophets, it looks like i'm going to be fighting for survival and in defense of my home planet.

hm well that was interesting but i could think of a new plot just too bad that componies relie on the same people for thier games over and over we could come up with millions of plots take this rp for istance it could be a hole new twist on halo games

Except you're forgetting one major thing. Most of the main characters from the earlier story lines are A. dead, B. missing, C. crazy, or D. Perfectly Fine.
Most of the officers fit nicely into the first three catagories. This entire Recon game is probably going to be about ONI Recon group 111 or something similar. A group of ODSTs dropped under ONI command to look for whatever the Covenant were trying to find in New Mombasa, which we know was the Ark. No worries though. One thing I REALLY want them to explain is how the hell Johnson, the Arbiter, and Miranda got back to Earth. I mean what the hell happened there?

Well, you do have a good
point about that Snipe.
But I'm sure that Bungie could have come up with
something slightly different for a continuation of Halo 3.
Then again, like Hegemon said, most of the main characters
are all dead so there wouldn't be much of a storyline to
go into unless Bungie sat down and REALLY thought about it.
