Wow 19. That was close.
Man btw....
Today I was downstairs using the toilet (we have a downstairs toilet and the one upstairs is broken) and there was a knock at the door. And I'm sure that they knocked on the side door (which is in the downstairs toilet) which really freaked me out. So anyway....I go outside to take a look and there's a guy a few doors away. Sees me, waves and heads back and I realise that he's got an RSPCA jacket on. He stops to pet my cat and asks me if my parents are in. I like the RSPCA so I let him in.
So well, me, him and my dad talk yada yada....and basically he's there looking for donations. Dad unfortunately doesn't have a bank account so he couldn't, but he says that I do. The guy looks at me and asks how old I am.
Now at this point I'm thinking that he probably reckons I'm younger than I look, coz I'm 21, so I tell him so.
The weird part.....he said I have to be 26 to donate! eek
Apparently it's because they have trouble with people under 26 who have bad credit rating attempting to give them donations, so they had to put up the age limit, first from 18 to 21, then to 26.
So yeah, after he left I looked at my dad and said "I'm 21 and last week my bank called to offer me a credit card due to my good credit rating."
I mean....I can get that they want to get good donations but....simply being under 26 doesn't mean you have bad credit rating. You'd think that they would be able to check the credit rating, coz he said that what happens is you fill out the form, it goes to the office and after a week they'll call to check the details.
Dad also tried to offer him my cat to take away with him rolleyes

I know!  She's too cute whee But yeah.....dad always says that he doesn't like cats and he doesn't like her....Of course today while he was carving the pork, he gave her a whole bowlful of it and he pets her when she comes to sit on him. He also likes to poke her though stare Should have seen him when the cat went missing a few weeks ago. Sure, he doesn't care as he worries about her and stands outside calling her name. (And yes, we did find the cat. Stupid thing got locked in the attic)

Aw cute! 4laugh
We just had the cable guy come over b/c we were having connection issues w/ the 'net. He did a good job & was polite, seemed to know his stuff & I hope we are fixed now.
And the point I was trying to make b/f I got to rambling is that whenever anyone besides Hubby & me is in our house- Ciara(female kitty) runs & hides the whole time they are here and sometimes awhile after.
I always worry until she comes out of hiding that somehow she got out of the house - you'd think I'd be used to it by now though. Weasley(male kitty) is a lover though and of course rubbed up all over the repair guy. lol sweatdrop lol

Lol yeah that's what Jemima is like. When she's outside all the little kids come over to pet her and if anybody is in the living room visiting with us she immediately goes to them, rubbing against their legs and jumping onto their lap to sit there and be petted. It's like she thinks that everybody comes to see her xd

The wind calls my name
