"Otay!" The girl said happily, getting up slowly and wobbling a bit on Ms. Nyl's bed. She held her arms out to Ms. Nyl as she regained her balance.

Nyl picked her up and held a bit tighter than usual as they both shifted into fog and headed back down to the basement. They reformed again in the shadows, where the man couldn't see them. Nyl could see him, though, and sent a thought his way.

She stepped out of the darker shadows and into a place where the man could easily see both of them.

The man blinked, then looked up, not saying anything, as the woman ordered. He saw Syoku in her arms as he felt angry at the woman, yet love towards his daughter at the same time.
The girl blinked at the crazy journey of foggy-ness. She then looked over at the man and blinked, then squirmed a bit as if trying to get out of her grip, "Papa!" Shhe grinned at him happilly, finally slipping out of Ms. Nyl's grip and running over to the man quickly, hugging him.
The man smiled and hugged her back, closing his eyes. He hid how he really felt for now, the excitement and love for his child in his arms once again and happy!

Nyl smiled, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall. "I did say there was something, didn't I?" She raised an eyebrow. "Syoku obviously recognizes you. I'm...I'm glad she still has family."

The man sighed still smiling as he picked Syoku up into his arms and held her close, "So now you do believe me? Can we get out of this place now...? It's not very... homey." She looked around quickly, then Syoku who was now playing with a loose string on his shirt.
The girl looked more concentrated on the string than anything else as she kay in papas arms.

"You can come upstairs, I suppose. But I don't know if it would be a good idea for you to leave just yet. ...People are still after you, are they not?" Nyl gave the plants growing on the walls a Look, and any that might have still been holding onto him let go. "Do you believe me, now? I don't work for anyone's government. ...Ask Syoku, if you can't bring yourself to believe me."

"Ms. Nwyl is a good man, papa! Not bad man!" The girl said as she looked up at his face happilly.
The man looked down at Syoku, then the the plants, and finally Nyl. He sighed and nodded softly, "Fine... If Syoku says you are, then I believe her."

Nyl laughed quietly at Syoku's confusing gender labels. "If I may, then?" She shifted closer - she had to be touching both of them - and fogged them all up into the main room, with Syoku and her father on one couch and Nyl on another, directly opposite theirs.
"If you're hungry, I can make something."

The man watched the woman approach him, and suddenly he was iff a different room and sitting. He looked around quick, really not used to that as he felt a bit sick, "What... was that?"

"Oh... I see..." Said the man, thinking it a tad lazy they dont just put up lights and go to a staircase... It wouldn't be that hard... "As for food... I'm fine right now, thanks."
"I'm hungwy, Ms. Nwyl!" The girl said happilly, sitting comfortably in papa's lap as she grinned.

The girl thought for a momment, then cut her father off by saying, "Oat wheel!!"
The man smiled and hugged Syoku, looking down at her happily. "That's you favorite, isn't it?" Back when they had a home, she used to eat that every day!

~How did you raise fire by simply speaking?~ She raised an eyebrow in amused question as an answer to his.
"Oatmeal? Yeah, I think I can do that. Be right back." She headed into the kitchen. A moment later, the white fox ran out of the hallway and stopped at the couch Syoku was on, looking up at her, confused.

The man sighed and shook his head. The speaking part was only a cover-up... "I didn't need to... I didn't want to completelly give myself away if it was you who were the government."
The girl yawned and nuzzled close to papa, not noticing the fox. She missed papa lots.
