No denial that FF6 was an amazing game, though as Lollipop stated, FF7 was truly my first RPG I touched upon at my age, and Legend of Dragoon. Going back into the past, FF6 has to be the best in my opinion. Afterwards, I say 7 then 8. FF13 just.... no.

If anyone picks 13 for their favorite, I will hack their account. I swear to god.
EDIT: Except Snow and Fang. They're alright.

Vin: Since the whole GRAPPLE craze finally died off and we are very slow going and you are obviously busy, cancel our fight?
I can have The Favored Sin interrupt us or some s**t, or we can just drop it all together. As neither you nor I have much time for it.
Edit:
Hold s**t, Lunar. You are right. My first RPG was Lunar, I forgot that game completely.

Striker Nightmare Garam Nijashi Hikuro All ******** final fantasy games are the same....white mage, black mage, warrior, defender, etc etc.....So yea....same s**t, same spells.... You obviously haven't played a FF game since two, have you? Hell, in two, you actually had distinguished characters. Actually, (barring Tactics) they kept the individual character classes up until FF5, which was the point in which your characters started becoming mutable classes rather than static ones. In 5 they used a job-change system similar to the one used in Tactics where you could level up your jobs and take abilities from one to use on another job. In 6 all characters could learn all types of magic but still retained their character-specific abilities and weapon types (which sometimes made them into a specific role in the party but usually it was just a utility thing). 7 had no classes nor did 8. 9 was the game that they advertised as "bringing back the crystal" because that was where they went back to the old standard of having crystals be a major part of the game setting and at the same time they also re-introduced each character having a set class that you couldn't change. X kept that (though you could always take someone off their predetermined path if you had the items for it), X-2 apparently ditched it (though I never played that one), and XI was all about classes since it was an MMO. XII started each character as a 'class' but you could advance them any way you wanted after that. I dunno how 13 works.
