Don't worry about it though, it happens to all of us. ))
The huntress merely smiled at James' discomfort and the fact that he seemed to be thrown off in this place and extremely paranoid to be within it. He did not like the park because many a lycan roamed through it, it seemed and she decided to take up his opinion of that and take a whiff of the place ... He was probably right, there were an awful large ammount of scents here that could be traced back to lycans but she was certain that most of them were long gone and would not cause any of them trouble. After all, they were two hunters and a vampire assassin who specialized in lycans so the chances that a lycan attacking them would get away with its life was slim to none. Any lycan in this park for the most part would simply be better off to leave them to their own devices. Neither Veroen or James would hesitate to kill a lycan that'd attacked them and Meredith certainly wouldn't either if she was so strongly provoked so it was better off being left alone.
"We're in such a wolf infested part of town because I'm apparently supposed to meet some Alastronia chick from the Irish sect here. I've been messaging her a little and after we find her more likely than not we're going to go out and search for a lost little boy who isn't all that little since he's nineteen. Anyhow the sooner we find her the sooner you can get out of here so you'd might as well help us find her. I could be stereotypical and assume that she's Irish and that she has either red or black hair but I honestly have no clue what she looks like ... or smells like ... so this'll be interesting." Meredith continued to wander the park, looking for Kalan with not a very good idea of who Kalan was other than she was Irish and her brother had red hair and was short. Did that mean Kalan looked the same? Who knew, Eden certainly didn't. It'd probably be easier for Kalan to spot her seeing as Eden was large and she looked strange.

James nodded, this wasnt the first search he'd been on and as long as the boy they'd end up looking for in the end didnt end up being a wolf he'd have no problems.
But what if he is? What will you do then big hunter man? Will you risk the wrath of your commanding officer and kill him? Or will you help find a wolf? You would be a good tool after all.
Shut it. Im sick and tired of you Charlie. I dont care what he is right now. Right now we've an irish woman to find. After that we'l.....I'LL find out MY orders and take it from there.
Touchy touchy. Be that as it may, WE are not looking for a wolf, even if YOU want to. I will take US else where should she say he is...YOUR orders be damned.

Corinne was against the coven in terms of her own interests though she realized it managed to save some of those who were in need of help. As for bowing she paid her respects to everyone she met and had bowed to Alexz just as she had bowed to Elyan. Simply because Alexz was a part of the coven did not mean she was instantly going to dislike her though being wary was certainly something she was going to be. "I am against the idea of being a part of a coven having heard the attrocities of which some have committed. I realize you are no queen and your position means nothing to me but I hardly see why that means I have to be outwardly hostile or rude simply because you are of a coven and I am not. If you'd prefer me to be rude to you, by all means, I am capable."
She did not much appreciate this woman judging her simply because she did not like the coven and tended to be wary of it. However, Corinne was willing to suffer through the opinions of the woman who had not fully informed herself. "I am not repulsed, I am merely wary and cautious. Joining a coven, I will wager, is not something I could see myself doing but some of us prefer solitude while others prefer to find their security and strength in numbers. For those who are able to, it can be a rather touching experience and a good chance to bond with others. It is simply not for me. As for being interested in the conversation, I am interested to see what it is that has to be said. As for feelings which I am harbouring, interest happens to be one of them. Alas, I will allow you your opinions. Sorry I apparently made a bad impression, it wasn't my intention."
Corinne did not appreciate the secretiveness of the elder at all nor the rudeness from her so she instantly discounted the woman and simply awaited Elyan's reaction to her presence. She was rather appauled that the woman could be so judgemental and cold after invading her mind and only clinging to a few of the more negative thoughts of hers. She had not been digusted by the idea, merely aloof in regards to it. She did not wish to hear the coven being advertised overly but it seemed that this woman was merely attempting to be friendly and extent an invitation to Elyan. There seemed to be no harm in her doing such but Corinne couldn't exactly say the woman had given her a warm tingly feeling. She had done absolutely nothing wrong, had not lied and she'd been accused of doing such because of one woman's ignorance. To be called a liar was a pretty high insult to her when she was not doing such.
However, she was not about to hold it against the elder since she had been lurking and probably had not given a good impression. If ever they met again she would have to apologize again not to suck up but simply to attempt to make ammends. Of course, she was certain the woman would not be interested in what she had to say but she would try all the same. She had not intended to offend her by any means and though Alexz had been rather rude to her she was not going to stoop to her level and judge upon a few simple thoughts. The fact that she was being secretive, though, did disturb Corinne and she did not at all appreciate that she did not have the decency to say whatever she had to say aloud when she had just been lecturing Corinne about harbouring secrets and such.
"It's always nice," Corinne said as she turned to Elyan, "to receive a cold shoulder when one did nothing wrong. I never realized attempting to be polite would offend her so highly nor claiming a legitimate interest in the conversation. I suppose it wasn't polite of me to listen in a few seconds before approaching but I didn't want to simply walk in without knowing what was going on. I suppose I simply am not meant to be a part of the coven and that reaction to me right there is an omen and declaration of such. I'm sorry to have sullened your conversation. I hope her dislike for me does not end up reflecting upon you in any way. It seems, though, it didn't but I suppose one can never be too sure. As for her secrets, those I do not appreciate. Anyhow, I'm not here to discuss whatever it was you were speaking to her about though it seems it may affect whether I have a purpose of being here. You seem well enough, I trust you were unharmed during my absence? I also apologize for how abrupt my departure was. I hope it did not inconvenience you."
After offering him her apologies she decided that she was not particularly interested in linger in this park seeing as so many beings were crowding into it at a rate that was faster than she felt comforting. "I am going to make my way to a quieter part of the city. Perhaps the graveyard since people seem to keep the peace when in the midst of the dead. Most of us feel it is only proper to respect them so hopefully I will find some peace there. It is much too crowded for my liking, here, though so I suppose you may come along if you wish to." She wasn't going to make him follow her and she wasn't going to really discuss matters of which were his business between Alexz and himself. She still, however, did not appreciate her immaturity in the situation and acting as if she were some child telling gossip to the boy in front of her.

Eden couldn't say she was wholly impressed with James asking her a question and simply falling silent after she offered her explanation. However, maybe things were better if he shut up anyhow because that way none of them got into any arguments and no one got angry. Perhaps this was a sign that he was starting to be willing to listen to her but she kind of doubted that he'd fallen silent simply out of respect for her. She was a wolf just like the ones he hunted on a daily basis so there was probably only so much respect he felt he could give her without betraying his messed up code or whatever it was. Needless to say Meredith didn't approve of his little game and for him to disrespect the need to protect himself and others and call it a game was an absolute horrible ringing within her ears. She couldn't get over the smirks he'd given when he'd talked about it being a sport as though it was some game that was made for his entertainment.
The hunter leader, however, didn't allow James' odd attitude to get her down because she wasn't going to put up with anyone's s**t, especially James'. If he pulled a stunt she didn't like then he could damned well stay locked up inside of haven on house arrest where Queenie, Ace or whoever would keep an eye on him and assure that he didn't escape or leave. James couldn't be given very much leeway, that was pretty obvious or otherwise he'd be out hunting innocents that weren't to be touched. Innocent until proven guilty and children of the other races were certainly off limits as far as Meredith was concerned. Sure there would probably be the occasional exceptions somewhere in the distant or near future but those were usually in the moment decisions where she needed to execute her judgement. It was always a difficult job judging whether someone should live or die, it wasn't right to take someone's life from them but sometimes it had to be done in the name of preservation.

While Edith was leading the way her phone happened to vibrate and 'moo' signifying that she had an incoming message on the HIN from one of her hunters. The hunter leader read the message quickly and sighed as she realized it was Peter and Matt getting themselves into trouble again. It sounded like there was another stupid crazy hunter she was going to have to go yell at and set straight ... This was really getting tiring. She knew that kids these days were more rambunctious but this was absolutely ridiculous. It was like she was playing the twenty four hour portable baby sitter who answered all distress calls and went to put an end to the fighting. This was stupid and she was acting like something between a baby sitter and cop. She sighed to herself, 'Not one moment of rest, I swear to God ... Ugh ... I can't wait until they rank up and can handle things themselves. Maybe I should give them a false sense of security and raise their ranks so they figure they don't need me to help them every time they get into a little bit of trouble ...'
"I gotta run ... It seems like there's some sort of misunderstanding that people aren't able to sort out on their own so I'm going to have to go yell at some people again and maybe kick someone's a** while I'm at it. I swear I'm going to have to start putting some of these stupid hunters who make these dumb out breaks under strict house arrest with no freedom ever ..." She sighed, knowing that she was supposed to be meeting Kalan but she didn't know where the chick was anyhow and so far they'd been unsuccessful in locating her. "I'll be back hopefully shortly you two. I guess you can try and find Kalan for now while you're waiting for me to get back. James, keep an eye on the HIN since I might need to send you a message on it for whatever reason. Sorry guys." She began making her way toward Demonic Ties, which she then redirected herself into the city after picking up Peter's trail.

James smiled broadly and spoke, but the voice that came out of his mouth was higher pitched. "The little wolfie is gone now."
He spoke again, this time it was back to normal. "Shut up! Are you TRYING to make trouble?!"
"What? Afriad some one will realize you're crazy as a bat?"
"I am not crazy! YOU ARE CRAZY!"
"Im in YOUR head and you call ME crazy?"
"SHUT UP!" He stood there for a minute waiting when nothing happened he quickly took off, ignoring anyone's reaction.

Elyan stared at the two vampiric women. Of course, there was tension in the air around them, even a human would be able to sense it. His conversing with the Elder had obviously struck a nerve with Holly, even if he hadn't given an answer.
As she had left, he felt he needed to follow behind her. He nodded to the Elder as a sign of courtesy and respect, something he would do for anyone.

Neko followed one of the paths in Central Park, her feet noiseless against asphalt and dirt alike. Her long, white braid swished behind her, following her lithe movements as the skirt of her red Chinese dress followed the curves of her moving, shapely legs. Her tails, nine in total, moved much like her dress and braid, swishing from side to side as she moved with little twitches now and then, much like a cat that was on the prowl and ready to pounce on some unsuspecting prey. Her green eyes looked haunted or sad, the brows pulled up as she stared right at the ground, her quick pace taking her easily along the path though she could not see ahead.
Suddenly her large, cat or fox ears perked up and she quickly turned her head to face somewhere off to the left. All of her went still, even her tails, as her ears went full forward to catch some sound that was inaudible to anyone else. The animalian elder started to look around and came across a tree, old and weathered. Neko went over to it and began to climb, her black cloth shoes providing more traction against the rough bark than one would've thought possible. She climbed up into the branches, long and thick from a long life here in the middle of New York City. If she climbed all the way to the top, the young woman might be able to see Broadway or if she was in the right place, down 7th street to Times Square. She doubted that last one, but still, this was so she could hide, not sight see.

Alexander walked in through the park, enjoying the peacefulness of it at night, not that he could see in the morning but he enjoyed it none the less. As he began to walk through Central Park, he began to get an ilky feeling as if he was being watched, though quickly brushing it off he continued to walk through the park gazing at the moon. He had traveled to many parts of the city already and decided that he may relax a bit in the park. Haa... you know this city is pretty cool, I might as well stay here. He said to himself as he continued to walk.

Alexander continued to walk through the peaceful park, again getting the feeling as if somebody was there. He quickly stopped and listened for a minute trying to see what was out there. As he stood montion less, he began to hear footsteps, quickly smiling himself he jumped up to a near by tree branch. Hmmm I probably should check this out first He said before quickly sprinting across tree branches to the origin of the footsteps, making absouletely no noise with each step.
