Leo shook his head, "you can't really call that healing. all i did was ease your muscles."

Nix took his hand, this way! stay close to the tree. she lead him up the stairs, going slow so that he wouldn't be running up stairs so high in the air. she reached the door and opened the door, Leo and Elliot were in the kitchen, feeding the babies, "where's Oliver?"

Nix stuck out her tongue, "This is my home, why would i have to knock? you're the outsider here!" she smiled at Yashweh, he says that Oliver is up those stairs in the bedroom, so go ahead. i'm going to chew out my brother-in-law a bit longer. she winked before pushing Yashweh to the stairs, go on

Leo watched Yashweh go before turning to Elliot, "She's right you know. why would she knock at her own home?"

Oliver was still soundly asleep, curled up on the bed, the covers a tight ball around him

Olicer heard the door open and woke, but he was so warm-he wanted to stay like that as long as possible. he heard the shifting of clothing and then nothing. as the silence grew, he became more and more nervous and finally, he sat up and looked around the room. at first he didn't see anyone, but then he noticed Yashweh leaning against the door, "your majesty!" he quickly got off the bed and knelt, "sire, why are you on the floor?"

Nix rolled her eyes, "please, i would have been able to tell. you're a pretty big projector when you guys are doing it, Elliot." she smiled and went to her nephews, blowing raspberries at them and making them laugh. "good morning! you are looking good too, building seems to look good on you, maybe you should build up some more muscle!"

Leo blushed a little, but he looked at Elliot and imagined him as muscular as his father. he struggled not to start laughing, it just didn't fit. "I like him the way he is."

Oliver was quiet for a long moment as he tried to figure out how to word this in a way that would be understood easily. "Sire," she said softly, "for the majority of my life i was considered nothing, less than nothing. when i became a slave, my tongue was divided in half, making it nearly impossible to speak, however the king marked his slaves in another way as well, by taking their eye." he placed his hand over the eye that he'd only recently been given back. "it made who and what you were obvious to everyone. the servants were treated poorly, and would take their anger out on me. the masters saw me as an entertaining diversion and would find any excuse to punish me. i am nothing, i have nothing. my only worth is my ability to work. i, my master is so kind to me. everyone at the castle is so kind, it frightens me. i am waiting for them to turn, to show their true colors and the longer they go without hurting me the more frightened i become." he looked at Yashweh, "and then to be offered this? for you to wish to claim one such as myself as your kin and take me into your household? how am i to accept? i knew my place, i know what i am, but everyone keeps treating me so well," he dropped his eyes and shook his head, "i don't-how can i believe this is true? that is is not another trap or trick and when i accept i shall be laughed at and hurt for ever thinking i could be anything more?" his arms wrapped around himself, "i don't know what to do! i can't-i can't, i'm nothing! i can never be more than that, why would you offer me so much? no one would accept me, i would be a mockery. please-" he curled over his legs, making himself as small as possible, "i don't know what to do."

Nix rolled her eyes, "fine, you wouldn't look good muscly. you're to sleek, like a cat." she moved to kiss his cheek, "sorry i didn't come sooner, mom made me go to the unicorn valley when everyone arrived, it was too much. the despair and panic were too strong." she had passed out from all of it and had woken in the valley. "it's calmed down that i came back."

Leo stroked her hair, "it's ok. you should go and see if you can speak with some of the people, i'm sure your smile would help them heal. we were probably going to go out after eating as well."

Oliver dropped his head, "i wish they would," he finally admitted. "i wish they would order me around, that they wouldn't be so kind. i don't know what to do...i want to keep my master happy, i want to serve, but if they don't tell me-if they keep treating me like thing, then what is the point of me?"

Leo's eyes widened slightly as Elliot's words sunk in and his heart froze. His fault. the attack had been his fault. if he hadn't made her sign those papers, if he had made sure that they were a true country first. guilt anew filled him and he dropped his gaze, "you are right. our interference brought that woman's wrath upon them." he stood and moved to Rin, washing the baby of before going to his brother. "we should get going. there is much to do today."

Nix felt a sudden chill from Leo and looked at him with concern, "i-guess." she gave Elliot a significant look and moved to the door, "i'll head down first then?" she smiled a little and left, giving them privacy.

Oliver tried to think of something that made him happy. it took a long time, he didn't know if he ever really had been happy, but then he remembered the Chef and learning how to cook. the kitchen and the small little cubby he'd found to sit in. "i like cooking," he said softly, "and small spaces. i feel-safe, in them."

Leo nodded, "i know. we were lucky to save as many as we did, but-" he sighed and shook his head, washing Yuki next and picking up Rin. "it doesn't matter, it's over and done with. we must pick up the pieces the best we can." he smiled at Elliot, "don't worry, i'm over sensitive. this, too, will pass. but first we have to make them an established country."

Oliver took a deep breath and nodded, "i will think about it...and ask master." he wouldn't do anything without master's approval. he looked at Yashweh before making himself stand, "Have you eaten, sire? we could get you something to eat."

Leo smiled a little, "it's kind of nice. peaceful." he moved to get some fruit for himself and saw breakfast had been made for Elliot and him and left in their ice box. he smiled, his mother must have made it before leaving. he picked up the plates and took them to the table, "breakfast is served, we'll have to thank mother later." he placed Elliot's in front of him, knowing it was his because there was meat on the plate.

Nix saw Hasta hovering around the single women dorms and lifted an eyebrow, "shoo," she waved her hands at him, "you won't win her heart hovering." the demon lifted an eyebrow at her, and she shook her head, "You don't have to be a mind reader to know you like that lady you brought with you. go on, get out of here. you'll only cause trouble. besides, the boys are up, you should go and see them." Hasta smiled and nodded, walking away before she went inside. she went to the room where they were housing the bear and knocked, "Hello? Miss Chelsea? if you're awake, breakfast is ready."

Oliver shook his head, "i'm not hungry." he was too worked up to be hungry. "oh-" something Yashweh had said sunk in and Oliver looked at the bed in horror. he'd been sleeping in his master's bed. how did he-? he could guess, the master had to have moved him there, but that meant the master had let him sleep. "i need to go to my master!" he jumped to his feet, but Yashweh was between him and the door, "do-you wish to come as well?"

Leo began to eat as well, taking small bites to fill his stomach slower so he could enjoy his food longer, "where do we even start?" he sounded a little depressed, his mind going over all the things they should do for their new visitors but not knowing which was right.

Nix giggled, "how much of that was dream, and how much was real?" she asked, cocking her head to the side, "if you really wish to sleep through the winter, i could take you o the bear tribe's caves. they would welcome you happily." she stepped back and let Chelsea come out of her room before leading the way to where breakfast was being served. "remember me? we only met once, so i understand if you don't."
