There seem to be a lot of states who aren't allowed to have fireworks, but foreworks stores are everywhere in TN... Also, the laws are basically like "You can shoot them in the air, just don't do it around these places..." and TN always says "I'll do what I want. Just try to stop me!" and the police never try to arrest anyone on holidays unless it's something really bad.

It doesn't stop us from going to Tennessee or South Carolina to get fireworks. In fact, maybe 5-10 minutes from the GASC border is a firework shop that has this GIANT sign all around the building's side saying "Do Not Smoke". This shop is maybe 4 stories tall. Lord knows how much stuff is in there! So long as we don't set things on fire, no one gets arrested here either, especially if it's a display by a city or the professionals at Turner Field or Stone Mountain. xd
We do have some stuff, but, like I said, they're about as exciting as if Roman Candles and Sparklers had a baby. They go maybe 6' off the ground and basically just sparkle for 5 minutes. emotion_8c

I don't think fireworks are illegal in Michigan. Every New Year and other special holidays, we got to his place where a bunch of (Like hundreds) of other people are at, and it's near a bridge and everyone can get on it. I've seen police down there and no one has been arrested, so I think that it's some official fireworks place. Well, most of the time we just get on the bridge and watch people from Flint fire fireworks, but sometimes some of the people fire them off ^^;.

It is too bad we don't have a South Carolina... That would be great. I imagine baby!TN and little!GA's arguments often ended in both running to tattle to their big sisters.
I don't know about Michigan's laws, either, but I think usually in the "drier" states there are stricter fireworks laws. TN has a heck of a lot of water ways and is naturally very humid so nobody worries too much about him catching on fire even during droughts.

Hee Hee you guys are nuts! *hic* I have fireworks. Though some I have to get approval. I could alway smuggle them from Virginia Hee Hee *hic* *gets another swig of whiskey* Hey I got sparklers! Happy New Years America! Got 15 minutes till the next one
You don't get arrested here either long as it's safe or you got local approval. My dad loved creating his own displays of fireworks in our back yards. (long as it didn't make sounds to annoy the neighbors) emotion_kirakira What's really pretty is having fireworks with snow on the ground.
I think the time we went to Six Flags in GA dad got some fireworks that we couldn't get here. Since I was old enough he got me to light them. But I went throught like 10 matches before I got it work. He laughed and said "At least I know you haven't been out smoking."
