Kotori Ky Actually, when neighbors play music really loudly I strike back with whatever type I have that would probably annoy them the most. Loud scottish drum/bagpipe music, loud classical, loud opera, loud j-pop... and if they REALLY piss me off, I put on Fox News loud with my windows open and go out for the afternoon. twisted When the people who used to live above my cousin were loud, she'd blast the most annoying music she had. When I was over, she handed her violin over to me. whee The only thing I know how to do with a violin is to make it screech ... very, very loudly.

Kotori Ky Hmmm... Kurosaki Iyasu... 3nodding Sounds nice. Heh, I just looked up the meaning of the family name. "Dark following." ^.^ I chose Iyasu because it meants "To heal or cure" and he is a medical ninja while Iya means "disagreeable, detestable, or unpleasant." His dad's pet name for him because he didn't want him to become one. I love making up Japanese names. xd

Mori: I grew up learning to play the violin... 8 years of it... I have to admit, I sort of liked it after awhile, butit was never my thing. Bleh. But I know the idea behind that. I prefer my friend, Deb's, revenge. The penny whistle, trying for octives you've not been able to reach before. Eeeevil. And I approve. twisted

Kel: I know. I was working on a manga-story using my Angel characters... the main girl was named Ky(pronounced k-ai), her older brother was Kei. I wanted to make it a pun on 'Keikai' which is like a barrier/shield, right? I've seen conflicting definitions of that...

Did they use barriers or something?
keikai (n,vs) (1) warning; admonition; (2) watch; lookout; vigilance; (P)
keikai (adj-na,n) rhythmical (e.g. melody); casual (e.g. dress); light; nimble; (P)
keikaiburi (n) guarding; guard
My first Japanese name was the best though.
Kumiaki Sugaru. Nicknamed Kumi-ko by the local Geisha who taught him flower arranging.
Kumiaki (beautiful autumn) Kumi-ko (beautiful child) -ko (Used as a permanent suffix on a female name, or can be used to make a shortened 'nickname' form of a name. (ex: in Sailormoon, Mamoru is heard calling Usagi 'Usako’)) Sugaru (to cling to)
He was a pretty boy. xd

They didn't 'use' barriers so much as WERE barriers. Though no one really figured that part out for a long while. Well, one of the Archangels knew, but he's pissy and sour and keeps his own thoughts to himself... usually to piss of Michael. XD
I should get back to trying to do that someday... sweatdrop

Write the story, or rather finish it, and try to draw up some decent character models. I might want to try my hand at a mini manga... I mean, I'm looking at bleedman's stuff on DA and pondering if I can't do that... somehow. It would force me to work on backgrounds. wink
